We did a price check on our car needs, and this location was the most reasonable. They did not rip us off or try to convince us that we needed more than we actually needed like other locations nearby. They provided detailed information on the condition of the car and why. For example, he explained that Jiffy Lube gave us the cheapest and low-quality oil and filter for our car. In other places, they don't tell you anything and if you ask how was it, they say "uh. It went good". We appreciate that they provided us transparency with our car, a rare find!

I brought my car in for the Maryland Vehicle Safety Inspection. The mechanic called out a list of…read morerepairs after the inspection, claiming they were required for the Maryland inspection to pass. After doing my own research, it became clear that not everything on the list of repairs were safety-related or required by the state. Only after pressing the issue did the mechanic (named Malik) agreed and revised the list, which already raised red flags about trustworthiness of this shop. The experience only got worse from there. I dropped my car off early the next morning, as instructed, and called later in the day to ask Malik when it might be ready so I could arrange a ride. Instead of a simple, helpful response, I was met with outright hostility. When I asked, "Do you expect the car to be ready today or tomorrow?" Malik curtly replied: "Your car will be ready when it is ready." I asked my question a different way. Malik replied with the same exact response, " It will be ready when it is ready" I tried to explain that I just needed an estimate to plan my transportation. Malik responded "What part of what I told you don't you understand?" This level of rudeness and unprofessionalism toward a paying customer is completely unacceptable. Clear communication and basic respect should be the bare minimum, especially when you're entrusting someone with your vehicle and paying for their time and expertise. S.A.P. Automotive Group is my new Car repair shop! They are RELIABLE, KIND, and HONEST!!!…read moreI brought my Volvo here for some repairs and they were very honest and kind to me, they told me that the job my car needed could only be done at a dealership because it would void my warranty if they did it. They didn't charge me anything to tell me that, they even filled up my tires with air!!! I previously took my car to another car shop and the other shop lied to me by telling me they "could" fix the issue but they wanted thousands for the work so I said I was going to get a second opinion and they charged me $150 for the "consultation " that took them only a few minutes to do since they use the computer to read out my car's computer issue list. So I made an appointment with S.A.P. AUTOMOTIVE GROUP ant they fitted me in the schedule the very next day. The young lady on the phone was very professional. She informed me that the charge would be $100 Dollars to do a consultation but at the end of my visit they did not charge me for something that was just a small computer check, they filled up my tires with air and that was very kind! I read all the reviews for them online and they were all positive. S.A.P. Automotive Group is an HONEST business, they really care about fixing your car issues and they will not ripped you off like many places do.
