I been going to Bucks County Smiles for decades and the quality of care has always been stellar. The cleanings are always thorough and the hygienists are gentle with their instruments and sensitive to my comfort levels. Whenever I have needed a filling, they are quick to put me on the books, and the pricing is always reasonable. I also have my TMJ treated by doctor Scholl and it has been so helpful with preventing jaw pain and headaches. I no longer experience negative side effects from TMJ. This is the place you want to go for QUALITY care. Hygienists spend more time on cleaning than in other offices, not to mention they perform advanced screenings for oral cancer with every cleaninng and always keep up with xrays. They truly care about your overall oral health. You can really trust the practitioner's expertise and attention to detail. The front desk workers are always kind and patient. They understand my dental benefits and I have never had a problem with reimbursement, and I have Delta Dental which is notoriously low-coverage. read more

Had 2 fillings done at Bucks County Smiles that both fell out within a week of each other about 2 years later... My new dentist seemed to be unimpressed with the quality of work. Aggressive, confusing, and at times erroneous billing practices is another annoying issue that I encountered. Those included monthly text messages that I had a balance due even though I hadn't visited their office in months, incomplete cost estimates, and battles over reimbursement of insurance payments. My recommendation would be to go somewhere else. There are plenty of good and honest dentists in the area. read more

I'm so thrilled I found Dr. Kristina Scholls (again) working at Bucks County Smiles! Been searching for her for the past 15 years after she worked on my teeth at another dental practice. I was so impressed with her work and her ability to rebuild an entire tooth with good resin. She is so passionate about her craft and incredibly artistic. She forms a natural shape to match your other teeth and tweaks areas to enhance your overall smile. She's brilliant at creating the depth, the size and the color match to make a perfect masterpiece. I love that she also checks with you before completing and polishing. She has such a passion for her profession and it really shows! She listens intently to your request, understands it and makes every effort to deliver. BCS has new technology and tools as well as the latest quality products to perform all dental tasks. I can't express enough how impressed I am with her work. If you want a Dentist that truly cares about your SMILE, then I highly suggest you make an appointment with her. I drive an hour for this doctor but she is worth every mile. She does fabulous work and you never feel rushed. The entire staff is so helpful, pleasant and welcoming. I felt the need to update my review after Bucks County Smiles sent out a survey to their clients suggesting (suggestively selling) Perio-Protect trays will be beneficial to the pandemic. (Covid-19 is spread from respiratory droplets from the respiratory tract.) My original review described how a routine cleaning at Bucks County Smiles quickly turned into a mandate for MANY more costly appointments to replace fillings, deep cleaning/scaling, and (of course) Perio-Protect trays. (If you go to a dentist who is pushing this costly treatment, do your own research before signing up.) To me, this felt excessive and very suspicious, so I got a second option from a trusted practice (not mentioning my experience with Bucks County Smiles) and simply had to get a cavity filled. Based on my experience, I'll never go back to or recommend Bucks County Smiles. read more

I wrote a comment on their fb page stating how my appointment went, just trying to warn everyone what you have to " look forward to and they deleted it! They don't want you to know the truth, especially prior to your visit in hopes that they can talk you into it.... Schedule elsewhere, trust me!!! I had an appointment on Tuesday, I had scheduled it a month and a half ago and I was so excited to go! They are extremely pleasant, yes, but I truly wish that I had gone elsewhere!! They told me on the phone that they took my medical which was one of the main reasons that I waited so long to see a dentist, because for the 1st time in 17yrs I have dental insurance, so why would I pay 100% out of pocket?!?!? Makes no sense, they wasted a lot of time searching for my bottom front tooth (which of course broke 2 days before my appointment) a bridge and a tooth on the other side of my broken tooth was $7700!! Keep in mind that is for 2 teeth with a metal connector, but the snap in dentures are $25-30,000 as quoted by the office... I know that snap ins are not cheap but that's insanity, I put less down when I bought my house 2 years ago!!!! read more

I went to this practice upon seeing an ad - big mistake! Without going into detail, I told Dr Scholl some extremely confidential information about myself and she not only told her staff, but wrote about it in her report that was going to another dentist. The information I shared had nothing to do with dentistry. I think her professional ethics are a 1 out of 10. I would never step foot in this office again. If her ethics weren't enough, they Drs try to drain your pocket for every money grab x-ray / test in the book - I suppose they need to pay for all their expensive Equipment - Consumer beware!! His skills and high standards, his ease of communication and attention to detail are reflected in all aspects of the practice. The professional, pleasant staff also make appointments stress free. We feel that starts at the top with a provider that is invested in his practice by investing in the patient's experience. During the height of COVID the measures taken to assure a safe visit were above and beyond our expectations, he really sets a high bar. After being a customer for over 30 years, I feel compelled to say this practice has changed. It's no longer the caring, family practice it use to be and it is a shame. It was suggested that I visit a specialist after an emergency visit one evening. I followed up and did that. The specialist called and explained his findings and his suggested treatment at Bucks County Smiles . Bucks County Smiles never reviewed their report or followed up!!! I called to see if they had the report and was told yes someone would call me. No call. My husband went in for his appointment and was told it fell through the cracks. Still no follow-up. I called and asked for my records to elsewhere and finally got a call from the office manager. Very poor service and no one there really cares about the patient. Dr. Hoppenwasser did NOT run the practice this way. BEWARE read more

This office has a strange policy of not allowing you to use your insurance in the first visit and says they will get your insurance company to reimburse you...that sounds like a lot of red tape and long phone calls on hold and not getting reimbursed for something you have insurance for to me. Would like to have tried this practice but this policy seems like it's not going to work out well for the patient especially if they decide to do an expensive round of xrays! read more

I went to Bucks County Smiles high school through college for regular cleanings. Dr. Faust also put a veneer on one of my front teeth because it was discolored from an injury in childhood. I was informed before the procedure that usually it is necessary to veneer both of the front teeth to make them appear uniform. Well, I never needed the second veneer. Not only did my family and friends remark that my smile looked great but every, EVERY hygienist and dentist I have encountered since (I've moved from the area) remarks how wonderful the cosmetic work is on my front tooth. I have been having a very frustrating experience with this practice. Several months ago at my cleaning they chastised me for not seeing an oral surgeon about a suspicious X-ray done at my previous visit 6 months ago. They had never informed me of this unusual X-ray, however, and I had no idea there was a problem. Weeks before my appointment with the oral surgeon, I called Bucks County Smiles asking them to forward the X-rays. Little did I know, they sent nothing. I had to wait for an hour at the oral surgeon because they never received these X-rays, and the secretary there called Bucks County Smiles again asking them to send the images. They again did nothing. I will be finding a new dentist. read more

I can not say enough about Dr. Faust at Bucks County Smiles. I have nerve damage on the right side of my face which makes any dental procedure quite a challenge. I had been looking for a new dentist for literally about 5 years going from dentist to dentist. My problem being that the dentist either did not have the knowledge to deal with my issues or did not have the patience. I found both in Dr. Faust. He has laser, tech scan, computer photography and other equipment. All of which has lessened my pain as well as time needed to to any procedure. He even makes your crown right there while you wait instead of having to go back two weeks later. He is able to think out of the box and deal with my unique problems while having very strong technical abilities. Also their prices are mid-range, though their quality of product and service is top range. The staff there is really great too. Dr. Faust has literally improved my quality of life. read more

I have severe TMJ and have always had difficulty going to the dentist. My jaw muscles often go in spasm after dental visits resulting in tons of pain and very expensive jaw injections. The doctors here are so gentle and cautious and are aware of the pain I suffer if I go into spasm. I have had such success with cleanings and fillings with Dr. Faust and Dr. Scholl. They schedule extra time for me and always make sure I am ok throughout any procedure. They are so up to date with technology and very knowledgable in their field. Not only are the doctors excellent, but the hygienists and dental assistants are amazing and always are so careful when working on me. They are friendly and make me feel comfortable the whole time. Since my situation is so complicated I needed to find a dentist I trusted and I am so happy I found bucks county smiles. I know I am in good hands and would highly recommend going there. After having many difficulties with a dentist in New Jersey, a very dear friend recommended me to this practice. After several procedures done at this practice I came to find out that I was not only being taken for money but also pre-emptive planning was more like a retail business than an actual dental practice. I still do not have the bite plate that I was promised over a year ago. I also was lied to about a crown and a temporary crown that was also put in my mouth so poorly that it broke off 6 hours after it was put in. Though I do like the doctor that helped me a few times..... I have no choice but to say this is a very money-hungry practice. The communication from these DMDs is poor at best. I called one of these dentist from the road while traveling and still 3 weeks later have not gotten a return call. I never had any complaints lodged against his practice before, I never complained to them personally, but when they could not step up and call me back (after I called requesting a call back) after 3 weeks when their work was faulty I am definitely trying to warn the public this is a practice that is just looking for the next "Buck" for cosmetic dentistry. If you need restorative help MOVE ON. I do not trust this practice and will be paying money to take my charts, my films, and any other records to a dentist and an attorney to help me reclaim what I lost at this practice including part of my jaw bone. I do not love or want to leave negative reviews for any business. But I have literally lost part of my health due to the lack of communication and unprofessional behavior from this practice. The things that I have suffered from were showing up on Films many many months ago, and I have had second third and fourth opinions by professionals including x-rays scans Etc. Clean, friendly atmosphere. Was seen by the hygienist right away. Waited a few minutes for the Dentist for my exam. Hygienist was educational as well as made me feel like the appointment was geared towards my individualized oral health. My two year old also had his first dental check up and they were great with him! He got to fill up the water cup and test the water/air sprayer, got his teeth checked and went for a 'ride' in the dental chair. He later asked to go back and loves his new Cars toothbrush! I have never had anything other than a wonderful experience here! I travel an hour to stay with this business and will continue to do so, even with my little guy because they are awesome! read more
