I found Dr. Satashia online and seeing it was an all female practice (at the time), I decided to give it a shot. This office not only got me in for my emergency visit from the pain IMMEDIATELY, they saw me and instantaneously took action to get my teeth restored. I saw an endo to have a root canal redone after the horrible job done elsewhere. The other root canals I needed, fillings, wisdom tooth removal, the list goes on, were all done by Dr. Satashia! I was told that before they could even schedule me for a root canal, I first had to become an established patient and come in for a cleaning, X-rays, and a full exam. After that, I would still have to wait for their root canal specialist, who is only in the office a few days each month. That essentially means living in pain for weeks before actually getting the treatment you called them for. I understand the importance of exams, X-rays, and routine dental care, but when someone is calling because they are actively in pain, I would expect the immediate problem to be addressed first. The last thing someone with a painful tooth wants is to sit through a routine cleaning, X-rays and annual exam, only to be sent home afterward to continue waiting in pain. Had they been willing to address the painful tooth first, I would have gladly become a regular patient and continued my routine dental care there. Instead, the process made me lose confidence in the practice. I am now being treated elsewhere, where they understood that I was in pain and got me an appointment right away instead of making me go through routine care before addressing the reason I was seeking help in the first place.
