I am shocked to see a negative review on this page. I was desperate for a dentist after seeing my family childhood one and realizing he just was not with the times and not giving me the optimal treatments I needed. I found Dr. Satashia online and seeing it was an all female practice (at the time), I decided to give it a shot. This office not only got me in for my emergency visit from the pain IMMEDIATELY, they saw me and instantaneously took action to get my teeth restored. I saw an endo to have a root canal redone after the horrible job done elsewhere. The other root canals I needed, fillings, wisdom tooth removal, the list goes on, were all done by Dr. Satashia! The woman does it all! I have had zero issues, no follow up pain, no signs of infections, NOTHING! Her entire team is energetic and passionate about their jobs, and I know I am in the best hands. Their equipment is top notch and she always had the newest dental innovations. I was just there a few days ago for another emergency visit and they fit me in hours after I called on an extremely busy day! As always I had no wait time and the work performed was top notch! The lady I spoke with on the phone was very nice, but if you are calling because you are already in tooth pain, this is not the place I would recommend going. I was told that before they could even schedule me for a root canal, I first had to become an established patient and come in for a cleaning, X-rays, and a full exam. After that, I would still have to wait for their root canal specialist, who is only in the office a few days each month. That essentially means living in pain for weeks before actually getting the treatment you called them for. I understand the importance of exams, X-rays, and routine dental care, but when someone is calling because they are actively in pain, I would expect the immediate problem to be addressed first. The last thing someone with a painful tooth wants is to sit through a routine cleaning, X-rays and annual exam, only to be sent home afterward to continue waiting in pain. Had they been willing to address the painful tooth first, I would have gladly become a regular patient and continued my routine dental care there. Instead, the process made me lose confidence in the practice. I am now being treated elsewhere, where they understood that I was in pain and got me an appointment right away instead of making me go through routine care before addressing the reason I was seeking help in the first place. read more

Haven't been there in awhile, but had a root canals done. Endodontist from another facility told me I have an abscess under two premolars. My insurance wouldn't cover it, so I went back to the source-DBD. Basically, I was told since I having been there recently, they don't take responsibility. Said I would've felt pain if they did something wrong...I have NO nerve endings, so how would I know? Came up with all kinds of reasons that it (coincidentally) could've happened. So, putting the onus on me. I've spent over 10k (out of pocket) to have root canals done, in the first place and they can't cover $1,400 when the issue stems from them? Ridiculous read more

I've been fortunate to not need any major dental work, at least until now. Still, my experience with DbD and Dr. Waller was excellent. They have the most advanced techniques and a highly competent support team. They did everything to make sure I was 100% satisfied with my new crown. I'm also an entrepreneur with good coverage for medical needs, but not dental. While a significant expense, I also did my homework and found their service costs to be very fair. This dentist DOES NOT EVEN PREFORM SCHEDULED PROCEDURE!!! My son was in incredible pain. On telephone I explained my son had a failed root canal (previously verified by X-ray) that needed to be retreated. I asked if they were able to retreat the root canal at same day appointment. I was told yes. Due to the urgency, I asked again and was assured my son's root canal would be retreated. Made appointment for later in day at 3:50 and immediately submitted the required electronic forms with detailed info that appointment was for failed root canal retreatment. We arrived, the dentist took another X-ray, and informed me that my son had a failed root canal that needed to be retreated - THE EXACT PURPOSE FOR THE APPOINTMENT!!! $100 for this dentist to repeat my exact words back to me and tell me that she did not have the skills to perform the scheduled procedure, followed by prescribing an inappropriate antibiotic and Motrin for my son's obviously pain, evident by his swelling face. When asked, the dentist did not have any referral to a dentist that could help my son. After Dentistry By Design wasted 3+ hours of our precious time, I was left at 4:30pm scrambling to find a dentist that had the competence to help my son! Thankfully, Dr. Wilson in Doylestown was able to provide my son with excellent care within 2 hours!!! read more

If I could give no Star I would do it. I don't usually post reviews?m, but I really feel what they did to me was not right. They did a filling on one of my molding tooth. Before they did the job, I didn't feel anything on that tooth. After their work, I complained to them that I can't bite on that side because of the sensitivity. They took me back more than once, pretending to care. However, each time, I went in, they always told me that the filling was perfect. Finally, after one year of struggling with them, I decided to seek second opinion elsewhere. Very quickly, I found a doctor through friend's referral. The doctor found the problem, and the problem is the tooth Dentistry By Design did the filling on. I will never never tell anyone to see them ever. Although my Yelp record is in New York, I am a residence in Northampton township. I was your patient for a year and half. read more

I was charged $61 for oral hygiene instructions that consisted of suggesting to floss and buy an electric toothbrush. It was also recommended that I have additional procedures done not covered by my insurance which seemed unnecessary. This practice is all about taking your money. Dr. Mozaffari, did an excellent job on my veneer's and crown! After 3 sets of orthodontia I did not want to go through the process of straightening my teeth with braces or invisalign. Dr. M was able to change the alignment of my teeth without impacting my bite. Considering the condition of my bite, this was no simple task. . She took the time to ensure that my veneers fit properly and looked as natural as possible. I am more than pleased with the outcome and highly recommend her. read more

Ever since I moved into the suburbs one of the struggles was finding a quality dentist in the area. Dr. Satashia and Dr. Mozaffari are the best! I've always had a pleasant experience here. What really sets them apart is that they listen to us, they value us as patients! That even goes for the assistants and the receptionists as well, they are all very friendly and great to talk to. I'm slightly surprised by the negative review or two left on yelp in their regard. All I can say is that I can't recommend Dr. Satashia and Dr. Mozaffari enough! read more

Very rude staff wouldn't leave me alone about the small gap in my front teeth that I had to repeatedly tell them I couldn't afford to fix at the moment. I've never been bothered by the gap before but now I can't stop fixating on it. I go to the dentist to get my teeth cleaned, not to gain new insecurities about my smile. I was actually googling the office to get their number & realized that they are on yelp. And of course when I clicked on yelp I saw a few unfavorable reviews which completely blew my mind. So, here I am posting a review bc ALL of my experiences with the office have been absolutely excellent! Years back, one of my molars (this molar was one that I already had some work done when I was younger) had been in pain for such a long time. I visited this office to get things checked out & get a cleaning & the hygienist proceeded to tell me that sometimes, people can have a hairline crack from clenching their jaw too much in their sleep which could be causing the pain when chewing...among other possibilities (and yes, I had a mouth guard bc I grind my teeth but I hardly ever wore it so it's my own fault). Lo & behold she was spot on! Story is long...but the summary is that Dr. Satashia was AMAZING! She totally took care of me, explained the process, made me feel extremely comfortable...did the root canal (not fun) among other things/inlay...but OMG---I could FINALLY chew food on my left side after like a year once everything healed! I've been going there for years now & not once have I ever had problems...not with any of their staff! Just a good honest, upfront dental office that truly gives their 100%! I HIGHLY recommend them!!!!!! Ps. My daughter has been going there as well ever since she was like 3 or 4 y.o.! She loves the treasure chest & the fun nick nacks they give at the end. read more

Love them!!! I have such a fear of going to the dentist, but when I got there I was more then impressed with the facility, and the staff. The dental hygienist talked me through everything she was doing and was SUPER nice. She made me feel less anxious, and did a great job cleaning my teeth. When the dentist came in, she was also very friendly and assured me that the the fillings I will be getting will be a piece of cake and she would take care of me. This place is a racket. They have absolutely no compassion for their patients and take advantage of the situations they are in. I almost want to use the term, "extortionists" to describe them. A tooth they know will need a root canal, they will put a filling in first, well aware of the fact that filling will fail in six-months. Then, they bang you six-months later for a new set of x-rays plus the root canal and crown that should have just been done in the first place. They treat patients as walking, talking, wallets. The one star I give is for the hygienists. They are actually very professional and have at least, some interpersonal skills. The dr.s, on the other hand, are condescending and have the empathy of paper-plates. They do the maximum number of procedures and squeeze the maximum amount of money from every tooth that possibly shows a problem. When the first procedure fails, they make sure to insist it was in no way their fault. And back-up their work with some kind of warranty? NO WAY! Pay, pay, pay, pay, pay. I would never suggest this place to anyone....Well, maybe a masochist who just won the powerball. read more
