I had to get a jump from someone at work and drove straight to O'Reilly's to get a battery test. I was really pissed since I was going to miss my martial arts class and it's been a week since I've been able to go. So on my day is the day I'm able to go my car won't start and I have to spend my evening at O'Reilly's great. I walked in and met an employee named Miquel. Dude was chill and calm like hey we will fix the problem don't worry and calmed me down. I got immediate attention and he did a battery test and it was a bad battery. He looked up a replacement and the price was decent so I said yes. Then he switched out the batteries in like 5 minutes! We had some small conversation and I was out of there! That guy is totally cool dealing with customers like me and completely changed my mood from totally pissed to happy and I was out of there I even made my martial arts class. Miquel is the man promote and pay that man!

That and the very poor wifi connection in the shop with no cell service was hard to do anything productful. I ended up having to leave my truck there over night since I had prior obligations, my appointment started at 8am but I wasn't told it wouldn't be finished until 4-5pm until 2hours into appointed time. I DO NOT recommend Cliffs auto repair on FM 529. I went for an oil change only because my regular…read moremechanic and my schedule couldn't work out right then, and then Cliffs showed me a picture on a screen supposedly my car needing a front engine cover gasket, an engine timing cover gasket, a water pump, engine valve cover gasket, and an engine intake manifold gaskets set to the tune of $2641.06. Also told me that there was no oil on the dipstick when they checked it before the oil change. In addition I asked to have my tires rotated and aired, but they did not put air in my tires, so I'm not really sure that they actually rotated my tires... I did not have the additional work done because I have not seen any oil leaking in my car, my oil light has not come on, and no overheating that would warrant a water pump. I decided to go to my regular mechanic who has always been upfront and honest to look at my car. He looked under the hood WITH me, no signs of leaking anywhere!!!! Very little dried oil which is normal for my older car, no fresh oil leaking anywhere!!! Please beware of scams like this.. there's lots of good mechanics out there, please go where you know you can trust them.
