I had water leaking from my roof down into my upstairs bathroom ceiling. These scammers ripped me off, paid $350 cash for nothing. the 2 guys who came out had a hard time climbing a ladder and walking on my roof which is not that steep as the guys from state farm were able to easily walk on my roof. once on the roof, they claim that they found nothing wrong but wanted $350 for just coming out. What a scam. I Had to call Home Depot to send out one of their contractors to repair my roof, they put flashing boot and sealer around one of their boots (pipes) coming out of of the roof. It's a simple fix that these guys missed. Stay away from these guys, save your money and go w/ someone else. I would recommend talking w/ your local Home Depot or Lowe's to recommend someone. These guys are overpriced and a disappointment.

No leaks but signs of water penetration on decking in attic, black streaks on old, ugly, worn, asphalt shingles. It was time to act before serious water damage occured. Choosing a roofing contractor was indeed a daunting, stressful, task. Most folks probably know that post-pandemic home projects have doubled, tripled, and quadrupled in cost. So, yeah, the 5-6 estimates we got went from A to Z. Assessing roof decking (plywood) damage, can't be certain until the shingles are removed. This is when you'll know if you've made the right choice in hiring a reliable, honest, true quality company that shows pride in their work, total accountability, and will exceed your expectations. That's what Heimbach Bros delivered in every aspect of the roof replacement. We dodged a bullet, and made the right choice. The crew showed up on time on the morning of the job. They are knowledgible, no-nonsense, skilled, and expedient in performing their job. The clean-up was thorough, exhaustive, and as complete as it can be. Heimbach Bros. uses GAF Timberline HDZ roofing products, well known in the roofing industry as a top quality asphalt shingle. This guy is as honest as it gets, delivers on every promise/statement he makes, follows up on every detail of the project. Work was completed in one day. I know this story sounds to good to be true, but it's NOT. My wife is fairly intuitive and she said out of all the estimates we got, Nick was the most honest, consistent, and truthful person we spoke with. We went with her gut feeling and we are very happy we did!

He patiently listened to the history of this leak issue, including the builder "repairing" the issue (NOT) and how we have had the shower caulked multiple times and the caulk continually cracks causing leaks and water damage. I actually told him I was about to have a nervous breakdown over this because we have had tile contractors, plumbers, handymen etc. here to fix this to no avail. We were resigned to the idea that we would need to tear out our entire shower to fix this on-going leak. Robert was at our house with his plumber (Brower Plumbing) within days of my phone call and diagnosed the issue, which did not entail ripping out the shower. We will be replacing our shower doors, which were improperly installed by the builder, and Robert will be repairing our water damaged ceiling. Robert and his team are reputable and honest contractors and we highly recommend them for any home repairs or home improvement projects. We will definitely hire Kaash Construction again! If you are looking for a general contractor for home repairs or home improvement projects....this is the guy to call.

This is another update to a review for Keystone Exterior Solutions and the owner, Ron Dawson…read more In 2020-2022, KES did extensive work in my house - adding a patio door, then replacing it after a flood, along with another new patio door, windows, new exterior doors, kitchen floor and outside patio. I was a great customer, accommodating to his schedule, tipping his staff, paying on-time. January 2025: He contacts me to explain how there is a major manufacturer increase in prices and to act now to take advantage of that deal. I was in the process of planning a major renovation for the second and new windows would have been perfect. I paid him a deposit of $6,900. Again, KES has done major work at my house, and I expected him to follow through. Since then, he has done nothing by lie, ghost and ignore me. I have reached out to the manufacturer, and I am pretty sure that they will no longer do business with KES after my complaint. I have submitted a complaint to PA Better Business Bureau. KES did not respond to the complaint, here is the link: https://www.bbb.org/us/pa/norristown/profile/general-contractor/keystone-exterior-solutions-llc-0241-236008572/complaints KES has a "F" rating with the PA BBB. I have sent him a certified letter, and never had the receipt returned. I have submitted a complaint to the PA State Attorney General Bureau of Consumer Protection, but I do not expect him to respond to that complaint. The other day, I drove through Norristown and went by the address of KES only to find it occupied by another business, Mr. Storage. I contacted them and was told that KES moved out of there a few months ago. All my attempts to contact him via mail, either directly or indirectly, have been in vain because the company is no longer there. Please, PLEASE, do not do business with this company or Ron Dawson. He is a thief, plain and simple. Why would he move out of his warehouse and not update his address on his website? Why would he treat a great customer and a veteran this way? KES has $6,900 of my money and I have never received any of the goods or services. I have a signed contract and will take the necessary steps to enforce the contract or have the deposit refunded. I will continue to update this review as my situation progresses.

Paid an additional $6,000 when the porch was painted, lights up, and exterior painted. Paid for shutters because they were still on backorder. Less than a year later, the porch is peeling up. The chimneys were supposed to be wired and stuccoed, they were just stuccoed. They cut a hole in the wall where the roof deck door was to be installed and left it filled with large gap sealer. We also have had water coming into the attic for months since the roof and chimneys were installed and the contractor has failed to inspect it, with his offered "lifetime guarantee". We would have had a chimney service install a cap if it was verified that was the cause many months ago and now have significant damage to our plaster ceiling that we will need to get repaired. The door has allegedly been on backorder since we put the deposit down on 2/21/22. At this point, we asked for our deposit back, as the work was questionable and contractor refused to get permits without additional cost to us, and it should not have taken this long. We could not wait any longer with $5,000 tied up for well over a year on a door that's been on back order for 14 months. We offered to pay for the door at cost, with proof of receipt and order number that we could verify with the door company. The contractor refused. Contractor is still refusing to return the deposit for the roof deck. We would like the shutters we paid for hung, the porch sanded and repainted (was never sanded), plaster in attic repaired and our money back from the deposit. We have contacted the District Attorney, BBB, and local court. The DA and BBB were unable to contact company. The local court when to serve at business address and found it to be an unmanaged garage.

This is not the case with Jeff Kunkle and Pristine Home Exteriors. This needs to be shared in hopes of preventing others from making the same mistake. I hired Jeff Kunkle and Pristine Home Exteriors in April 2024 to address a leaking roof and water damage on the front of my house. Work began in May and continued for months. Although the work itself was sloppy on the finishes- "Pristine" is an incredible misnomer!- and Jeff often did not respond to calls or show up when he said he would, for the most part, the work was being completed and the leaks had stopped. This began to change when the invoices were mostly paid. When that happened, calls/texts were left unanswered and days on-site became few and far between. What's more troubling is the issue with the windows. I was told I needed new windows, at a cost of over $7,000 for both the windows and installation. Initially, I was informed that the windows would take 10 weeks to arrive, which seemed odd but not concerning at the time. After the wait,I was told the windows had arrived in the wrong color and could not be painted without voiding the warranty. Then, the story changed again: I was told the windows were never actually ordered, and that an employee of Jeff's had left town with the money. The inconsistencies in these stories grew more unbelievable over time. Furthermore, it turns out that the windows were never even necessary, and Jeff now admits he owes me a refund for this, which I'm sure I'll never see. We were left without repayment, an unfinished front of house, and unfinished roof ledge and owed money for the windows which never arrived. I have similarly left feedback with the Better Business Bureau and will pursue small claims court to recover my losses. Please stay far away from Jeff Kunkle, Pristine Home Exteriors or whatever business is subsequently spun up when this one is bankrupted.
