More recently I wanted a pistachio latte but I also wanted mocha and the friendly barista suggested a pistachio mocha latte which I proceeded to order at other Starbucks' all weekend on my trip to Phoenix, Sedona & Flagstaff, and while it's a great drink, none were as good as the one I had in Wickenburg. **Capital Farms in Wickenburg is Worth Every Minute of the Wait!**…read more We visited Capital Farms on Saturday, and wow--what an experience! The line was long, and the wait was definitely noticeable, but after one bite of their Fancy Smash Burger, we completely understood why. This wasn't just a great burger--it was one of those meals that makes you stop talking for a minute because you're too busy enjoying it. The perfectly seasoned beef, combined with their incredible signature sauce, crisp lettuce, and fresh tomatoes, created an absolute explosion of flavor. Every bite was better than the last. They only sell bottled sodas, but they also offer water, which was perfectly fine for us and let the burger remain the star of the show. For the first time, we also tried Dirty Potato Chips, and they were fantastic. Crunchy, flavorful, and the perfect companion to an already amazing meal. One of the best parts? Capital Farms is also a butcher shop. Before leaving, we picked up some of their ground beef so we can try making our own smash burgers at home. If the burgers they serve are any indication, we're in for a treat! If you're passing through Wickenburg--or even if you're not and need an excuse for a road trip--this place is absolutely worth the stop for lunch or dinner. Just be sure to check their hours before you go. I ordered an iced latte, and the owner/ manager, brewed me up a perfect Arizona style caffeinated beverage. She was extraordinarily welcoming and friendly, and very patient while teaching a new girl the ropes. Stephanie ordered a delicious lemonade. Both drinks were served in reusable spun aluminum cups that you had the option to put in the wash tub or take it with you. We enjoyed our quenchers in the relaxing shade of their patio with perfect balmy weather on that day.
