There are balls to borrow so you don't have to bring your own. I called ahead to confirm that a court would be open since they always have other activities going on. We walked on the track upstairs. They have a little sitting area we were able to pack a picnic and snack before going to the pool. The pool entrance has several family bathrooms to change in. Plus the locker rooms. In the locker rooms they have a nice sauna so you can warm up. The pool area the kids love since it is spacious and divided into sections. The younger one enjoyed the water play area and the older ones enjoyed the slide. They were able to go over and over again with little wait. Overall a lot of fun for a family. Cost about $10 per person for a day pass.

I immediately got my family out, but shockingly, they continued children's swimming lessons in that same pool, exposing everyone to potential infections and harmful bacteria like E. coli. I was very surprised, as the staff usually reacts strongly to smaller issues. For example, when I first signed up, one of the female staff members, a very thin brunette, aggressively and disrespectfully yelled at my family and another woman with her daughter over a simple mistake--we brought a floaty, unaware it wasn't allowed. We aren't allowed to use noodles or dive with goggles unless we're paying for swimming lessons. How does that make sense? While some staff members are nice, others act like we're uninvited, unwelcome guests in their house, enforcing unnecessary and unreasonable rules in a rude and bossy manner. This is the first pool I've ever been to where noodles are banned, but apparently, swimming with dead birds is okay. I gave 2 stars because the pool is really beautiful and the water is often warm and pleasant. Too bad for everything else.

I did not have good care from old primary for many years, and unfortunately and many things fell through the cracks. New PCP is following up on many missed tests and procedures. So I have had a love hate with the internal medicine practice, although I am optimistic that things are turning the corner with a new PCP. The practice runs on time and they are usually efficient. Parking is fairly easy and valet parking is available. Overall - it is pretty good; however, one should speak up or change PCP if you aren't getting what you need!

Huntington Beach has less of a crowd in the Winter, but it is just as alluring a Summertime visits. The toilets at the campsite were cleaned out every morning we were there. It also felt safe, it gave a sense of being more remote because of the tree density, but not so much that I was worried about anything. The lake is beautiful, they had kayaking available which was fun! No swimming in the lake though. But there were plenty of of other campers who were out fishing at the lake. Up to three guests can be brought as long as a resident over 18 is present. Residents 14 or older can go to the pool unattended. Adult swim (18+) takes place during the last 15 minutes of each hour. The kiddie pool is a small size but good for kids not ready for 3ft depth. The "rec center" is not a rec center in any way. It is purely a place to take shelter from hot sun or rain and it has small restrooms, picnic tables, and two vending machines. So, don't expect any workout equipment, etc. This is a really cool place to justify the association dues and have fun!
