LOL Been here many times, have never walked out saying "Wow,…read morethat was good." I tolerate it when others suggest we meet there. Last night for the Draft, they had a nice crowd at the tables, but hardly anyone at the bar. Hopped up on a tall bar chair and nearly fell off as a wooden support piece was dangling from the bottom. Switched chairs and, while I didn't fall off, I could rock back and forth on it..weak wood again. Then the LOL kicks in. Two people behind the bar. For the next two hours, we were not spoken to. Every single thing we ordered, we had to get their attention. The male was particularly hilarious as he never even made eye contact with us as we were begging for service. The food? Less than meh. Very Gordon Food Service in taste and presentation. The bill for four domestic beers, one sandwich and one small pizza (a Thursday special low price) was 54 bucks before tip! It's a mystery to me why there are so many cars in the parking lot every time I come. I know the atmosphere is good for kids (loud and big inside). But the Winking Lizard does everything this place does for less cost and 100 percent more quality. LOL!

Food wise, it was a party so it was chicken tenders, quesadillas, pierogis and chicken wings of course normal drinks like wine and beer. The food was pretty okay. The pierogis were good. The tenders were good. The wings were small and saucy and average. The quesadillas were unfortunately burnt and not that filled. Didn't get a chance to try any other menu stuff just what the party had. Will have to come back and try it. Great decor. Great atmosphere. Super friendly staff. Overall a moderate 7.2 out of 10.

We got a few items from the happy hour menu, everything was delicious. Definitely want to come back and also try the regular menu. Highly recommend.

Salmon Dave's Pacific Grill is a new-to-me fish-centric joint in Rocky River, Ohio…read moreThis is a long overdue review of my visit here all the way back in April of 2025, so please excuse the short review and lack of details on the food. I did make a few notes on the day of, so hopefully those suffice! So about 12 others from my foodie group and I dined at Salmon Dave's for a group lunch in April of 2025. The interior is cute and decorated like a fish joint off the coast of Florida. We had made reservations beforehand, but it was clear they were still understaffed. It took a bit too long for our food to arrive. I think we waited about 45 minutes for our mains to arrive. We all munched on the free bread while we waited. The bread was okay - standard white crusty bread. The service was also pretty good. Our waters were always kept pretty full but our waitress wasn't much for conversation - just kept things pretty serious. I ordered fried fish for my main (I am pretty picky about how I like fish prepared). My fried fish dinner was massive! I have never seen a fried fish as big as the one I had at Salmon Dave's. It was good too which is why my review is 4 stars instead of 3 or 3.5 stars. The coleslaw is a liquidy mush of nothing - don't bother getting this. In short, I paid about $40 after tax and tip for my fish fry lunch and while it took a while to arrive and I wasn't impressed with the sides, my friends and I had a good time! I was very impressed with the fish too!
