I don't mind loud kids much, but if you prefer a pool that is mainly adults, I would look elsewhere. The pool is also right by the golf course if you like golfing. I personally haven't tried the food there but they have a bar at the pool with servers that come bring your food to you if you ordered something. Overall, Weymouth Country Club seems like a nice place to belong to and I enjoy tanning and swimming at their pool.

Visited Weymouth Country Club several times in the last few years. My daughter had her Homecoming…read moreand Prom dances here and we attended a fundraiser recently. The venue is nice, if not a little pricey. There is plenty of parking and there is a beautiful golf course out back. The food is okay and that is primarily what this review is about. We had their pizza, which is okay. My daughter thought the food was average. We've had many of their appetizers, which are pretty tasty. But something my wife ate made her sick for a day. Not sure what it was because we ate many different things. The service was friendly, but the refilling of the buffets could have been faster since there were several empty trays and no one was changing them. The location is nice and the building is well maintained. There's plenty of room inside and the view is nice when you look towards the golf course. Some of the people I was chatting with that frequently host fundraisers have moved their fundraisers to other venues due to the high cost and average to below average food quality.

However, new management has let it deteriorate, failing to water, aerate and fertilize on routine basis, taking some of the fun out of it. Also, the sand traps are filled with sandbox-quality sand that gets packed down hard (and rarely raked), negating any chance of blasting out.

The golf cars look like they haven't been cleaned in months, just not a great impression, especially when added to the general conditions mentioned above. We were playing at a slower pace so we let groups play though(so we didn't cause any delays). It would be nice if this course was more welcoming to new players. Will not be coming back after this unnecessary and rude interaction. 9 holes took 2 hours, which is not much slower than the recommended pace of play.

Met my partner here, so I'm a little biased. It is pricey for a mini golf excursion, but keep in…read moremind that you're also paying for the artwork and the sci fi museum pieces (there are three so far). There is also a nice snack bar with a tropical fishtank about halfway through the course. There's not a lot of extravagant drinks there (don't expect a martini or a grasshopper or anything like that), but there is a good variety of beers, wines, IPAs, and seltzers for the adults as well as slushies and sodas for the kids. As for the course, it's incredible what they've been able to do with such a small space. They've basically snaked 19 holes around a fairly large basement area that begins and ends in the same spot, and each hole (save five or so in the middle that are essentially one big diorama and two holes making up an ocean area) has its own theme. There are animatronics, sound effects, and painting tricks that work well with the 3D glasses, but it's not necessary to wear them to enjoy the experience. I highly recommend this place with some caveats. Try to go during times of lower traffic. Weekend/weekday mornings and the first couple of hours on Sundays tend to be the least busy and allow for a more relaxed play experienced. If you find it is crowded, I can't believe it has to be said, but please be respectful to your fellow golphers. A lot of the bad reviews on here seem to be more about inconsiderate customers than the quality of the course. Keep in mind that as I said, the space is a bit cramped due to the maze-like layout of the place, so respecting personal space and waiting your turn is a must here. Also, you're not just paying to play, you're paying to see the artwork. Trust me, there are a lot of cool little details in the displays and on the walls that people don't seem to pay attention to when they speed through the course. To use a restaurant metaphor: the place may look like fast food to be consumed and devoured, but it's more complex than that and should be taken in and savored.

The area is in dire need of weeding and there is stagnant water breeding bugs that bit us the entire time. It looks like at one time it must have been a waterfall and stream. The indoor/outdoor carpet is wrinkled/ bunched/torn, in one place torn off altogether and lying on the landscaping stones, in general it is in disrepair. There is one line "fun" obstacle, a rusty loop. There are brittle weathered bricks "bordering" the greens but they are falling apart and are more of a trip hazard than anything else. The posts that mark the holes are warped splintered and decrepit wood, several of them missing parts of the numbers. I did not want to cause a scene inside where we dropped off the clubs because there was a man reading at a table and my children were with me. I did however call first thing the next day they opened and I asked for the mgr and I was told he comes in occasionally and my name would be given to him. I decided to call again today and the lady today was very unfriendly telling me she doesn't have a mgr just an owner who randomly checks in and she would pass my name along. She said the reason the prices are so cheap is because of the condition of the course?? She also said that "they plan to do some work on it sometime". She was increasingly agitated when I asked her name and process for customer satisfaction. She said they have never had a complaint so there wasn't a process she was aware of. Finally she said her name was Yolanda or Joanna, very difficult to hear her because she was talking so fast. I asked her to spell it and she hung up on me. Never going back again...
