Have to say, I was leery about other than bar food items at a Sports Bar like this but was more than pleasantly surprised. Nice location situated off the main street surrounded by natural hills. Inside layout is decent, with open seating and a bar. Food selection is what you'd expect from a sports bar and grill. TV viewing is good for sports events. The one caveat I found was the noise level. Whoever runs the audio system must have hearing problems because the music is way too loud to carry even a simple conversation. That makes this place a definite NO for first dates or meetups. If you're just going to watch a game then you should be OK but if you're planning on doing ANY talking then I would consider this off the menu. I've been here a few times, for some reason you just get stuck going back even though you don't really want to. I guess I end up returning because other people I know haven't learned their lesson about this place yet. If you want the SLOWEST service in the world go here... typical bar food. It is a typical sports bar, though I would say the food is a bit better than typical bar food. Our server was very nice, though it was quicker to get up and grab a new napkin or a bottle of ketchup ourselves. If you live nearby, I'd recommend stopping in to catch a game. read more

It just opened a week or so ago. I stopped in for lunch and I like it. It is locating in a strip mall and the old bar had a very cold vibe and had no character. Bucketheads has changed the atmosphere. They have added TVs, tables, they have separated the dining room from the bar without being obvious. The food was good. I am excited to try it out at night. This is a fine bar. I've been coming here for a very long time. It's very obvious that their sauce isn't made in house, and their burgers are also shipped in and not made fresh, but that's fine. I come here about twice a month and the positives far outweigh the negatives. They have a staff that communicates and talks to you better than most staffs I've ever been around. They allow people to play whatever songs they want which is amazing, because some bars won't. Although the food is only okay the understanding from every patron and employee that goes there is awesome, and that's what makes this neighborhood bar so great. read more

Wings are 7/10, but they charge 75 cents for a spoonful of ranch/blue cheese. Beer was 1.50 but did not have a single bubble. Paid 9 dollars for a frozen burger, soggy onion ring, microwaved bacon, and then they charged me an extra 2.50 for cold fries that reminded me of my middle school cafeteria. Love the hell out of this place. always got good things going on. the staff is AWESOME!!!! the food is GREAT!!! my 4 year old would rather come here than mcdonalds. the drinks are greatly made 98% of the time. (look for brittney, my fav) tuesdays is my favorite day day to go, ANY 2 burgers for $12. even the philly in which is a $10 sandwich. its also great to know that the owner is there most of the time. he likes to know what is going on in his business and sometimes he even works the place. meaning taking orders, serving, and even cooking. and yes he can cook. sandwiches tasted great when i ate them. even the next day microwaved. another good reason to go is for the keno. many big lottery winners from there already. i myself have had 2 sittings that won me $72. that is out of about 6 visits. i only spend $5 before food so that way i got something to keep busy with. read more

Tried this restaurant but was concerned about some low reviews. However, I was very pleased. The service and food was great. Prices were reasonable. There are plenty of televisions for sport enthusiasts. I give it 5 stars because it is exactly what is should be. I will be back to catch some games with some friends. Cool place to hang out. I recently moved to the cincinnati area. I decided to try this bar near my new apartment. The food was great, I ordered wings and had a couple mixed drinks. The first drink was a vodka cranberry and i couldnt even taste the vodka, it was mostly cranberry juice. So then I switched to a captain and coke and again the same thing happened. The women bartending was an older lady and wasnt very friendly. She didnt seem to fit in with the younger bubbly, smiley girls. Hopefully next time I stop in I will have a better experience. read more
