The outside setup was really well thought out and the pumps for automobiles and trucks are separated on each side of the building. The automobile side offers plenty of room for larger vehicles (IE, trucks with boats or travel trailers) to pull into and out of. The truck side can accommodate the largest of tractor trailers, RV's or 5th wheels. The store's staff has always been friendly on each and every visit. There is a food counter and a Subway inside as well as the regular food and sundries you'll find in most roadside gas stations. I also like to by my lottery tickets here as I feel lottery winners more often than not, buy their tickets from vendors in these "smaller towns". The restrooms are also pretty clean, which is a good thing, as every time I come here in the A.M, I've already had approximately 40 ounces of coffee and I'm bursting at the seams. LOL

The people who were working there said they were not going to start letting people get gas until 7AM. At around 5 am they moved the cones and let over 25 or more people jump around all of us who been waiting in line and let them fill their vehicles and gas cans. Point is, does the owner know what their employees are doing. Meaning letting all their friends, family and nabors come in and jump ahead of people who been waiting all this time for gas. I think not. I will be finding out who the owner is and let them know about this. Things like this is the reason you are seeing trouble, fighting and a shame to say worse someone getting killed over stupid actions as what took place this morning. When it was being built I thought, why build a gas station across from a gas station? Tucked in what appears to the naked eye as a simple gas station/convenience store is Donuts & Deli. It's no secret I'm from California as I reminiscence often of cool balmy beach weather as I swelter in the humid heat of Southern Louisiana. Louisianians love their snowballs, but we Californians LOVE us some donuts. We have as many donut joints as you have snowball stands, maybe even more. After hearing about this place ( from darling Alexis), I was eager to get my hands on some donuts. They serve a selection of classic donuts, glazed, chocolate, Bavarian cream, jelly filled and sprinkles. But then.......a wide grin as big a the Cheshire Cat creeped across my face as I eye spied a cinnamon roll as big as my head. The little Alice in Wonderland within me jumped for joy as I drooled over the various donut holes and miniature apple fritters, perfect for any mad hatter tea party. We order the giant cinnamon roll, chocolate covered donuts and jelly filled holes, all delicious! I thought I'd try their original potato, filled with the yumminess of bacon bits, cheese, butter, sour cream and green onions for a whopping $3.29 ....their menu includes sandwiches, burgers and smoked meat lunch plates....it's was obvious that some knew about this place as a dozen or so worker guys were chowing down at tables located inside..... And I was assured that the sign is coming soon....... You can zoom in on the picture and count every grain of salt on each French fry. I love salty foods but I couldn't even handle these fries. Otherwise, this would've been a perfect 10/10 meal. It was $21 with a large fountain drink. I will definitely be back for more food.
