Just a little Cajun convenience store with two gas pumps. I send my son money sometimes because he was out of work. He can come to this store and use his card to withdraw cash when he needs to. Almost every time I come to Bayou Blue, I have to get the boudin balls! OMG, those things are so delicious! It is sausage and rice in a sausage type casing. You can buy it hot and fresh cooked to order here. You can dine in or have it to go. Nothing fancy, but they serve their purpose. Ummmm. Yikes. This small gas station/store is pretty scary. It starts in the parking lot. There are two (yes only two) gas pumps that are ancient. So ancient that you have to go inside to pay. Da faq? I think that's the first time I've had to do that in 20 years. There are drunk guys who basically hang out in the parking lot all day and all night. One of these..uh..gentlemen informed me that he thought I had a nice ass. Really? Seriously, how disrespectful. Eww. Inside wasn't much better. Everything was really dusty and it reeked of onions. I'm pretty sure the cashier lady (who was about 50) was high and she was smoking a cigarette. When did that become ok again? Gross. I do not want to inhale your cigarette smoke, ok lady? Yes, the pumps are old and stuff is a bit dusty. So what!? Drunks outside? No way! At a convenience store!? Lmao, If this is the first time you've seen a drunk outside of a convenience store, you have a led a sheltered life. Yes, you will have to walk 10 whole feet, go inside and pay..*violins playing.** It's quick, it's convenient, they are friendly people. Nobody smokes in that building, that's nonsense...Maybe the attendant was smoking outside and a poor, tender flower of a millennial was forced to walk near a smoker! Gasp! Lol..toughen up Dorothy! Just a simple, small town gas station. Cashiers are super friendly, lots of the customers seem to be locals, so it's a safe place to stop. Prices are comparable to any other small town gas stations. My son goes to school near-by and I stop there often. Would recommend this place to anyone. read more
