He also helped trim some overgrown trees on the side of the property Dwight has the hardest working crew around. They spent a lot of time getting this large hedge under control. Amazingly, Dwight showed up the following day to finish up a job we thought was done. Dwight aims to please.

I was on a call when I did the walk thru with the manager on site, so I was rushing and didn't notice the trees by the pool were not cut. I called to let them know that trees around the pool were not done. And I was blamed for it not being done because I didn't see it when we did the walk through. The management went to telling me how much money 200.00 dollars it was going to cost him to get workers back out. I am still waiting for a call back to be scheduled for our job we paid for to be finished. Very disappointed with service I received. Below is the estimate of everything that was supposed to be done. Back yard: Oak trees, deadwood removal, sucker reduction, canopy lift, pool clearance, Front yard: oak tree shape. $1350 labor $111 tax $1461 total $500 deposit Balance due upon completion. The Real Stump Buster team helped me with trimming my live oak and crape myrtles in my front yard…read more From the start, the communication was excellent. They provided a reasonable quote for the oak and offered to trim the crape myrtles (5 of them) for just $100 more. The team arrived a few minutes ahead of the scheduled time and Tom shared the plan with me so that we were clear on expectations. They worked efficiently and were finished within a few hours. They cleaned up all debris prior to leaving. My trees and yard looked great. Everyone on the team was professional and courteous. I would certainly ust them again and would recommend them if you need a professional (and certified) arborist team.

We found their thorough explanation of what they would do and the very fair quote, coupled with the recommendation, good reason to hire them. They did a fantastic job of trimming the trees, raising the canopy a bit, and cleaning up after themselves. I didn't get photos because we were out of town when they did it, but we could see everything from our security cameras and the awesome feedback given to us by our neighbors. We'd definitely call them out again. Highly recommend!

We had another big branch snap off our Bradford Pear, and since it wasn't the first time, we…read morefinally decided the whole tree needed to go. I chose Texas Hill Country Trees because their reviews and ratings were the strongest, simple as that. Our backyard is all artificial turf and rock, so I was nervous about damage. Jeff sent a quote within 24 hours, included his insurance, and reassured me they work over turf all the time. That alone gave me peace of mind. The quote was fair, and the crew came out the very next day. They showed up on time, got straight to work, and every single person was professional. Before anyone looks at the photos I'm posting, I want to point something out. I knew going in that I'd have some cleanup to do afterward. With the amount of work needed, especially grinding down the stump, I wasn't expecting the area to look perfect. They're tree trimmers, removers, arborists, not landscapers. And honestly, considering the work involved, they left the space in great shape. The rest is just me doing the final touches so it looks the way I prefer it. Blame it on my OCD. As for the one‑star review calling Jake rude, I'm sure there are two sides to that story, because my experience with him was completely different. I arrived about an hour after they started, and Jake introduced himself immediately. He walked me through what they were doing and explained how they were protecting the turf. He was professional the entire time. I HIGHLY recommend Texas Hill Country Trees. Don't let one angry review scare you off, my experience from start to finish was excellent.

Jake, an employee of Texas Hill Country Trees LLC, along with the crew operating truck TL-926669,…read moreacted in an extremely rude and unprofessional manner. The crew blocked my driveway while performing work in the neighborhood and showed little regard for common courtesy or respect toward neighboring residents. Before the issue escalated, I politely informed the crew that I would be leaving soon and that they would need to move their vehicle. I initially allowed them additional time to continue working. However, after they ignored my requests made from my front doorway, I was forced to approach Jake and the crew directly to clarify what they were doing was illegal and I need to go to work. Despite my repeated requests, they became argumentative and used profanity toward me, including calling me a "bitch," when I confronted them and insisted that they stop blocking my driveway and move their vehicle immediately. When I arrived home approximately five to six hours later, I discovered several trash bags filled with organic waste left on my side of the alleyway located between their client's residence (my neighbor's property) and my own. The waste appeared to have been left behind by the crew, further demonstrating a lack of professionalism, consideration, and proper cleanup practices. I found the behavior of both Jake and partially the crew to be highly disrespectful, unprofessional, and unacceptable. Please do your due diligence when hiring so called, "professionals."

Reached out to a few companies and Al's quote turned out to be the lowest of the three I received. He was very thorough in detailing his suggestions for us and we eventually decided to zero-scape the front lawn. He gave us options to choose from, explained what has worked best for him in the past. He took out our existing bushes by our front windows, ensuring he got most, if not all of the roots so they wouldn't be an issue moving forward, planted 4-5 yucca plants, put granite rock down to cover the yard and our curb with a barrier around the whole area. We also went with a two-foot-wide extension from the side of our driveway that has 2" pavers and crushed granite so I could better get out of my vehicle since I have mobility issues. We also had him trim our huge Ash tree in the front since it needed it badly. Al was very professional, kept us in the loop on all decisions and got the job done quickly.
