When we purchased our home in February 2015, our AC unit needed replaced and a local realtor…read morerecommended Always Air Inc from New Port Richey. They installed a Heat Pump & gave us a written all-parts 10 years warranty. Just over 5 years later, the unit broke down & the serviceman from Always Air came and told us that we needed to replace the whole unit. We mentioned the warranty and were told no problem. Due to the extreme heat, we spent the weekend at a local hotel. On Monday, the company called us and said they had a replacement unit but that they would not honor the warranty because it had only been valid for 5 years - despite the owner having written the 10 year clause in our paperwork. We felt compelled to accept since our house was unlivable in these extreme temps, and paid them for a new AC unit to the sum of $2,200.00, which they said had a 5 years warranty. When my husband asked about a warranty on the new condenser, the serviceman mumbled that the company filed because the customers were too stupid to fill them correctly. We have since found out the following: - They did not file for a permit, even though we asked them whether one was required - it was! When the county inspector came after we contacted Code Enforcement, it took this company over one day to fix all the things that did not comply with code. - They said they installed a 3 ton heat pump, we have since found out it was a smaller unit. This company is the WORST we have ever dealt with and I would not recommend them to anyone! Too bad we had to give them one star because they don't deserve even that!

He was at my home for 2 hours but spent less than that time because he was talking to employees working on other jobs at other sites. He probably did 1 hours work. He disconnected my defrost something on my control panel outside to make it work. I did not really understand why. My unit is under warranty so that was not the best solution. He said the wires needed replacement from sun damage but did not take care of it. He said it could be done next time he came out. Why???? He was here. I don't want to pay for another service call. I almost fell over when he said I owed him $525.00. He did some minor adjustments outside and used almost no parts. I asked for an invoice breaking everything down twice and he refusedto provide it. I was basically charged well over $250 an hour (probably more like $400) with no communication about how he justified it. I am a 71 year old female woman. This is outright elder abuse. I do not recommend this company. I feel totally preyed upon.

In an era of terrible customer service experiences, I felt this positive review necessary because they really have made this lane of service/repair work an easy choice.

But, the new repairman stated no work was necessary, it was an error. I appreciate the honesty. He said it was up to his supervisor to put in refund. Now, I would like my $200 deposit back. From start to finish these guys are the very best!!! I called them and Ashley who works in the office st up an appointment for me right away, she was spectacular professional courteous and reassuring. Then Deatrick who is the Project Manager came out he was extremely professional thorough and explained everything from how long the new install would take, spoke to me about financing. Dearick is the man!!!! He knows his stuff inside and out!! And finally, a day later the 2 technicians came out, the job took a little longer that 5 and a half hours. The 2 technicians (Tyler and London) were outstanding. Courteous polite and most importantly they did an exceptional and outstanding job. If you need AC repair or a new installation like I did, Call 24/7 forget about all those other companies out there. These guys are the very best. Thanks very much to these 4 individuals. Hats off to you, And to the big boss or owner. Give them all a raise these guys deserve it!!!!

I was referred by the AC Manufacturer to Dynamic after another AC contractor in Lutz could not get…read morethe unit to work correctly. We have a variable speed Bryant and the company that installed it has been unable to keep the unit working correctly. We have had 45 visits from the other AC company whose Name begins with a capitol I. Dynamic responded with next day service and sent technician Steven Lilly who correctly diagnosed the problem and went back to his shop, obtained the correct part and completed the repair . AC has been working Flawlessly for 10 day straight. I contacted Bryant to thank them for the referral. As a consumer in North Tampa, Lutz save your self some money, head aches and hot Florida nights and start your service request with Dynamic AC. I could have saved 45 service visits and all of the charges for service changing out (warrantied parts). Yes the parts were covered by the other AC contractor but tehy charged a diagnostic fee of $89.00 then a second separate visit and fee to replace or repair the Warrantied item. Call Dynamic AC from the start!

It takes a lot for me to write a bad review on a company, but I feel this company requires one. We…read moreare going on day six with no air conditioning because of an evaporator coil that was not installed correctly by Dynamic Heating and Cooling. The original cost to replace the evaporator coil was over a 1000. Our air conditioner stop working on Friday 11/25/22. We had guest in from out of town for the holiday, which made their stay very uncomfortable. I called Dynamic but they do not offer service calls after hours or the weekends. Therefore, we called another air conditioning company to come out over the weekend in hopes to have it repaired. After the tech evaluated the air conditioner, we were informed they could not repair it because the issue was with the evaporator coil. The tech informed us the coil was not installed correctly by Dynamic Air and duck tape was used to seal the cover over it instead of screws. Here is a description from the tech that describes the issue. Found system restricted system is not flowing refrigerant properly system could be contaminated from opening system (last year evaporator coil replacement from previous company) and not pulling a good vacuum, system has duct tape holding the evaporator coil in place (if remove evaporator coil will be exposed to the outside temperature) previous company did not add the right parts to mount and seal the evaporator coil correctly please see pictures. I called Dynamic at 8 am Monday 11/28/22 because on their web page it states they open at 8 am. A answering service picked up the call and I was told they would relay the call and would have someone call me back. I waited over an hour and I did not receive a call back. I called again, still no one answer the phone but receive a voice mail box. I left a message, still no call back. I called again and talked to a customer service agent. I informed her I needed a technician to come out today (Monday 11/28, day four without air conditioning), she asked what time and I told her anytime is fine. I began to tell her the issue with the evaporator coil. She instructed me she wanted to talk to the owner and would call me back in twenty mins. I waited over an hour and half with no call back. I called Dynamic back again trying to schedule an appointment for Monday, no one answered the phone. I called several times and no one would answer the phone. I finally, got a hold of someone when I asked my son to call them. I was told they could not send anyone out on Monday and I would have to wait until Tuesday. In addition, to this they would be sending the same technician who initially installed the evaporator coil and ducked taped the cover on. I instructed her that I did not want the same tech to come out as it was not installed correctly by him the first time and using duck tap inside inside the condenser wasn't up to code. She told me they wanted the same tech to repair it, period. We decided to try and have it repaired by the company the came out over the weekend instead of with Dramatic Air since we were getting a run around by them. The estimated cost we receive to correct this issue was 2800. We decided to replace the unit instead of having it repaired. I found Dynamic Air to be very unprofessional. Because of the evaporator coil was not promptly installed it cost us 6000 to 7000 dollars right at the holiday session and with a recession going on.
