Yandry was extremely professional and courteous ( I might add, they both wore shoe covers). Upon completion, I inquired as to what I owed them, whereas Yandry simply said, " Nothing." This kind of service has become a lost art in Florida, and I can't overstate how impressed I was. This company deserves all the business they get, and I wish them well! Thank you very much!

I'm pretty regular with my maintenance for HVAC and each time a representative comes out to inspect and/or service my unit, I experience professionalism, patience in answering all my questions & thoroughness in educating me about the system and how it should be working. For this particular review, I had my annual HVAC and plumbing inspection and maintenance. I had Chase for my HVAC and James for plumbing. Both of them provided what I believe to be a thorough inspection and maintenance, which included a review of my past history, pictures to show me what requires attention, and for record of services provided; we discussed several options to resolve my issues, and they cleaned up behind themselves. I appreciated their consideration in applying shoe protection in my home. Both individuals were pleasant to work with.

Overall, I had a great experience with the entire staff from the receptionist, crew and owner. Everyone was patient and polite. I can definitely recommend Comfort Air. We have had them come out twice in the last month - we have two units and two handlers (two-story house). Nothing can ever be repaired, which I find very suspicious. The tech seems nice, but when we first called to inquire on their service to our upstairs unit, they told us they needed to replace our Goodman A/C unit "with the exact same thing you have" only to come back the next day and find they replaced it with a Tuttokool unit. And the second time the came out (for the other unit), they said the handler and the ac unit BOTH had to be replaced, for $8500. I called to inquire why the replaced the old Goodman brand ac unit with Tuttokool, and they just stated that they ac unit was outdated and the one we had was no longer current with new compressor laws. Plausible, but weird. They didn't see any problem in how the presented the words "replacement", and I probably should have voiced a concern that the replacement would be the exact same brand and look. But, alas - I did not and that's probably on me. I know the house is 20 years old, but - what the chances both break within the same month and now the second unit and handler have to be replaced? Service response time is great, but I am not convinced they are being truthful to all their customers.

Granted, it was Labor Day, but not one of them answered the phone. Only two eventually called me back. Fontana Brothers? They answered on the first ring and told me they could have someone out within about 90 minutes. Our technician, Fredy, called about 20 minutes before arriving and immediately got to work. He quickly diagnosed a failed capacitor and an issue at the contactor/electrical connection, and replaced what was needed. He also recommended surge protection for both the outdoor condenser and indoor air handler, which seemed especially sensible after the electrical event that started all of this. But he didn't just fix the immediate problem and leave. He inspected the air handler, discovered a significant air leak where it connects to the ductwork, and found the blower wheel caked with buildup. He took care of those issues as well. He also checked the refrigerant charge and explained that the system appeared to have been left at the factory line-set charge, which only accounts for a relatively short refrigerant line. Ours runs roughly 45 feet between the condenser and air handler, so additional refrigerant was needed. Fredy showed me the regular repair pricing versus their maintenance-club pricing rather than just trying to sell me something, and with a seven-year-old system that clearly hadn't received enough attention, joining made perfect sense. What really stood out, though, was how he treated our home and family. He stopped to pet our cats, patiently answered our kids' questions, and treated everything with care. He used our garden hose while cleaning the blower and actually wound it up neater than we normally do. From answering the phone on a holiday to getting our AC running properly and finding several problems that could have continued costing us efficiency and reliability, the entire experience was exceptional. I genuinely can't say enough good things about it.
