However, my shopping experience took an unexpected turn due to the cashier's attitude. When I first visited this Buc-ee's about a month ago, I encountered employees who were friendly, helpful, and genuinely seemed to enjoy their work. One employee in particular went out of his way to help me find a phone charger for my cellphone. He mentioned that he usually worked in the department for returning items, but had stepped in to assist with customer service that day. His positive demeanor made such a great impression that I returned to the store multiple times, hoping for that same experience. Unfortunately, during my fourth visit, I noticed a shift in the atmosphere. While previous employees had greeted me warmly, the vibe began to feel inconsistent. I brushed it off, thinking it was just a minor hiccup. On my fifth visit, I once again encountered a different cashier at the checkout counter. This time, an employee at customer service informed me there was a line and I needed to wait my turn, which I gladly accepted without complaint. However, on February 5, 2026, I stood in line at the same checkout counter, eagerly waiting to be called next. To my astonishment, the cashier remained silent and didn't signal for the next customer. I was the only one in line with a shopping cart full of groceries, feeling increasingly uneasy as I watched him turn to another employee who walked in through a side door. After a few awkward moments, I finally asked the cashier whether there had been a change in how the next customer would be notified. Jacob, the cashier, feigned ignorance and offered a series of excuses that only added to my frustration. In a moment of exasperation, I candidly told him to stop messing around with his evasive responses. His sarcastic remark, asking if I wanted him to call me by name, made it clear that he was not taking my concerns seriously. Understanding the importance of customer service, I took a moment to express my disappointment regarding my experiences since I first started shopping at Buc-ee's. I emphasized the need for all employees to align with Buc-ee's core principles and values regarding customer service. Every time we go to this location, the cashiers are very rude, mean and also perpetually irritable-looking. They all act like they don't want the customers. Why is this? If they do not want to work there, they probably shouldn't. Also, we don't like the way the cops are carrying on about in the store staring at people as if everybody was a some sort of criminal. This too takes away from the happy and fun experience that Bucees is supposed to be. The HR at Bucees needs some serious education to give to who they employ on how to be a proper courteous human being. If this does not improve in the future we will be contacting tv stations and many more other news outlets instead. I just went to Buc-ees on 27700 KatyFreeway, Katy, TX. I went to pay with my friend, I said hello, the cashier didn't say anything, I said how you doing?, but she didn't answered. She was just rude with a bad attitude. She never gave Us the receipt, so I asked for and when I asked her, she said I heard you. My friend said thank you to her, but she never said nothing, I lost it & called a Manager, while Manger talked to me, the cashier was mocking me, making faces at me, very disrespectful. Total rip off and shity llocation in Katy,TX first when you order food they are wearing gloves that they touch the screen where they put your order in then they grab the bag and your food all with the same gloves! WTF is the purpose of the gloves just to keep their hands clean? TO ALL BE AWARE. Buc ees might have some good bathrooms and store but please be careful when you go through the car wash. We went through and a section of the panel wash blown off during the dryer section. At Buc ees says they are not at fault. Your vehicle goes in in great shape it's only 2 years old and comes out with parts missing and yet it's not their fault. It is about dang time Buccees! I am sure yall know it too. This location if long over due. I love this place. One stop shop! My family & I always stop here when we travel west. It is always packed no matter which buccees you are at but this one in particular seems to be doing great. Love browsing through the home decor section as well. Clean restrooms. Well lite. I loved stopping here every three days for gas until last night 10/29/18. Last night I stopped to purchase gas with cash. You had to buy gas with credit cards only. Not everyone uses credit cards. Have a solution to the problem, like gift cards that could be used on the pumps. If they keep having this issue I will take my business somewhere else. read more

It is a shame Buccees does not allow for overnight parking. It has such a huge lot and definitely could allow it. They are not a truck stop so they would not have to deal with big rigs. This place went from top notch to crap in a couple of months. Maybe because I visit this location more often? In my last 3 visits the sausage on a stick has tasted horrible, the chopped brisket sandwich has been full of fat, and the beef fajita "whale" has a tortilla like leather. Allows license to carry! This Buc'ees is amazing. There are like 88 pumps, DEF at the pump, ice for days and all the snacks you can think of. The male bathroom is huge, clean and so on. read more
