This is a good food mart and with a pretty cheap gas station by Sugar Land standards, which is not as cheapest, not as cheap as the ones in the city of Houston, but definitely gets the job done on a number of levels. My friend in Houston is a high price escort (possibly kidding, no comment) and sometimes just for fun she likes to drive up and down Bisonnet on Friday and Saturday nights and check out the competition. The low rent competition I should say. Yes this part of town is famous for streetwalkers. So be it. Keep on rocking in the free world. Or keep on something in the free world anyway. A couple of friends of hers walk around here (lol) and a lot of really shocking spectacular things are on show, the likes of which you would not expect to see on the streets of the USA, and would not want your kids to see. So don't drive them around here after dark. Trust me. This gas station is at the end of the strip (and away from the action, but close), and always seems to have cheaper gas prices than everybody else in the area. In that regard it's absolutely awesome. I referred to this as my gas station because it is. So despite the occasional panhandling this is absolutely a five star gas station. And very conveniently located right on the entrance to the 59 so that after cruising up and down hooker alley, yes that's its name, you can fill up in gas right before you get on the highway to go home to the rich neighborhood. I mean you're on Yelp aren't you? So you have time to Yelp? So you aren't living in Greenpoint or the Barrio, are you. Just kidding obviously. What a bougie piece of sh** I sound like right now. This is a good convenience store located at Fondren and Braeswood, on the border of some kind of bad neighbourhoods and some better ones. It's open late and it's big and well-lit and has a big gas station here too. So it's not bad. They have everything you expect a convenience store to have, pretty much. I have a routine of going and buying 2 beers (the 32OZ beers) now when I go he charges me $10 every time. I thought "ohhh the $4 something beers plus tax is $10 even " it wasn't until I went today and bought the same 2 beers and the lady behind the register scanned both beers and the total was $9.74!!! So altogether a much better gas station than I was expecting. We stop here fairly often when driving from Pearland to Sugar Land, because of the good gas prices. Also known as JJs.
