Always a good experience at any Buc-ee's! People are so friendly and it's so clean. Best rest stop during any road trip. The bathrooms are so clean. They have all the snacks and food you could want. From fruit to chips to bbq sandwiches, they have it all. I picked up a new snack to try and it was delicious! You'll never be disappointed at Buc-ee's

Good prices

Just stopped for gas on a short weekend trip. I did not go inside because I had Luciano with me obviously I can't leave him in the car in this heat or ever really and I didn't think they would let me in the store with him. I was not sure so I'll have to come back another time when I'm by myself and explore this massive place but the gas prices were very, very good.

If ever in Texas, Buc ees is a must stop! The store is filled with everything in a restaurant, shopping store, liquor store, art, fragrances, bakery, books, candles, clothes, jewelry and everything!!!! On this stop, gas and brisket was the priority! It's an amazing adventure to take in Texas!

Let's take a selfie with Buc-ee!! You never know when you might meet the Beaver himself. A short stop for gas and an icee led to a meet and greet with Buc-eeeeeee!! No line to take a photo, so we snapped a quick photo before getting back on the road to Houston. Gotta love Buc-ee's. High Five to the beaver!!

Always the place to stop to rest, eat, shop and use the restroom. They are the cleanest restrooms and worth the stop. They smell clean and so easy to find an open stall. They have a great selection of merchandise if you are into all the branded Buc-ee's cloths, collectibles and anything you can thinks of they have it. For gasing up, there are a lot of pumps available. This location is very easy to exit and get back on the interstate.

Excellent service as usual. Odd occurrence on this trip...no fresh brisket on the board! However, the still had plenty of other options. Including a new Reuben sandwich. The food is fresh and pumps are plentiful.

Can never go wrong. Plenty of gas pumps, plenty of clean bathrooms and plenty of drinks, food and merchandise to choose from.

Gotta stop by Buc-ee's whenever I see one! It lives up to the other locations, so nothing super special there. But I tried the brisket Mac n cheese for the first time here and it was soooo good. This might be my new to go order here.

Billboards along the Interstate for the last half hour ensured that there was no way I was going to miss stopping at a new-to-me Buc-ee's. Pulling into the parking lot and it was immediately familiar in the best possible way. From the big yellow Buc-ee's sign saying "HILLSBORO" to the EV charging stations, miles of pumps and big crowds, it's completely consistent with the brand. Stepping inside at 3:30 on a weekday afternoon, I immediately heard the shouted "Fresh brisket on the board" and was practically knocked down by that familiar smell of candied nuts. Of course, they have all the things here that they have elsewhere including decent snacks, banana pudding, jerky, candy, fudge and lots of drinks. The coffee bar was fully stocked even in the afternoon. My only purchase today was the Buc-ee's fridge magnet. I took a look at the shirts and hats, but opted to skip those. There will be other Buc-ee's along the way where I'll have a second chance for those. Don't miss the water tank in the back, painted to look like a big tank of barbecue sauce. Or maybe it *is* barbecue sauce? [Review 388 of 2026 - 704 in Texas - 25573 overall]

My second Buc-ee's in two hours. One more and it's a Buc-threepeat.

"Willy Wonka Walmart" is how this happy place feels: part candy store, part superstore, all masterfully marketed with a beaver. Unnecessary items never felt more necessary. Once the largest Buc-ee's (in 4/24), it's now third, but it was the first store with the now-standard, modern "Mega-Store" blueprint with wider aisles, a larger central "Texas Roundup" BBQ station, plus the most jerky flavors stocked of any location. With the southern twang of a Tanya Tucker song mixed with the frenetic commerce of a Japanese superstore, I affectionately call these the "Delta Dawn Quixotes"

AMAZING PLACE! Don't think they'd need any reviews but if you are reading this review, just GO! It's quite an experience! The scene of the world's largest gas station alone is worth the trip! Great food options! Meals and snacks. The lowest cost way to try their famous brisket is the Brisket Wrap (at this writing $6.99) or their Brisket and Egg wrap ($5.99). Most other merchandise is priced lower than competitive stores. Also great place to stock up on jerkies! Great stop for social media photos too!

Love it. Ladies. Cleanest bathrooms on the road. Gents. Decent BBQ, chicken sandwiches, burritos, nice selection of beer and everything else you may need!

I liked this Buc-ee's in Hillsboro. They had a good statue to take pictures with. I was sick on a road trip, and going into Buc-ee's temporarily alleviated me of my symptoms. I got an interesting coconut water electrolyte drink because they don't have Gatorade.

My travel routine to either College Station, Austin, or Killeen consists of stopping at the first…read moregas station that I see. In this case, it is Exxon on I-35 southbound. Convenient, clean, & quirky is pretty much how I'll sum this location up. While this location is convenient for travelers to access the station quickly from the road, the bathrooms are about as clean as any Buc-ees you'll encounter. The men's bathroom is Texas huge, with pictures of Clint Eastwood & other cowboy legends adorn the walls, staring at you as if they are daring you to make a mess of things. The Exxon is a bit quirky, since it offers pie upon fried pie here. Of course, it helps that there is a bakery attached to the store as well. But that's what every traveler wants, right? To eat a fried pie or two and fart up your car like you are in a Cheech & Chong movie as you proceed down I-35. The employees here mean well, yet sort of act a little "off" sometimes. I go to the counter to purchase a burger, and the employee (after seeing me) walks in the backroom, never to be seen again. No burger for me on this day, yet there are tons of pies that can be eaten as an alternative. Another employee asks for me to pay him $60 in gas (despite my non-diesel 15 gallon tank) when I clearly said $16 to fill the tank. Tsk, tsk, tsk. Certainly some characters are at this Exxon station. Nonetheless, this Exxon is okay.

The price of gas just keeps going up again!…read more Ready for a very short review... it's a gas station. The pumps work, the price is on par with the other stations around and they have the same old same old snacks and drinks as about 90% of the other gas stations out there. Nothing special

Dancing Frogs! This is one of the weirdest, most Texan…read moretruck stops that I've ever been to. On the roof of the place, you'll find a few giant dancing frogs, made by the Texas artist, Daddy-O Wade. The frogs are immortalized playing Mexican musical instruments, like a froggy mariachi band on the roof of the pump area. Nice. Daddy-O Wade made other famous Texan works of art, like the giant boots outside of North Star Mall in San Antonio, and the giant tractor trailer sign made out of ranch gates also along I-35E. I'd always heard that this truck stop used to have an ulterior purpose here back in the day. It used to be that the signs would change from "Gas" to a lit martini glass at night, hinting at what else goes on at this truck stop at night. Inside, the place looks ancient and worn. In the entry way, be sure to check out all the signed photos and head shots of the famous celebrities that have stopped by. This is Willie Nelson's favorite gas station! George Strait apparently likes their tacos. I've heard that the story of this place was that since this town is in the middle of the belt buckle of the Bible Belt, you couldn't buy beer here in this part of Texas for the longest time. Then one day Carl decided he was sick of sobriety, so he bought the town, which was a few mobile homes. He incorporated it separately from the rest of the community, and became mayor of his own town, which he named after himself, and built this truck stop as City Hall. Once he was in power, he immediately legalized the sale of beer, and relaxed the rules. Hoooray! The system works. After he legalized alcohol, he set up a strip club in the back of the gas station, with mirrored ceilings, a stage, and a pole in the center. But it's classy, people get married here. At one point, he had a swimming pool for the truckers, and sold giant chicken fried steaks. Send that mayor to Washington! They sell beer here now. Lots of Lone Star Beer and Shiner. They also have truck driver supplies, like caffeine pills, CB antennae, and mud flaps with a silhouette of a naked lady. They also sell Bio-Willie, which is Willie Nelson's own brand of gasoline, made from renewable resources. A while back, part of the truck stop burned down, but the giant mariachi frogs on the roof miraculously survived. It's been lovingly rebuilt, but it's not quite the same. The pool and the steaks are gone. There are showers in the back, for truckers, that work on quarters. The place is clean, and they offer lots of snack, drinks and parking. The truck stop is located along the way from Waco to Dallas.
