Staff is friendly and store is clean. My complaint today is that they have apparently changed their policy on selling chopped brisket. I would like a brisket sandwich with no bun, but I cannot order less than 1lb of chopped brisket. I would understand this policy during off hours, but it was 5:30pm on a busy Saturday, and they had just finished chopping a new brisket. The brisket counter manager was polite but refused to even make a sandwich and leave off the bun. This policy is ridiculous. read more

I don't always stop at buccees but when I do I'm always impressed with the clean restrooms, attentive staff and the plethora of options! From drinks, candy, fresh and bagged jerky, fresh hot food and sweet treats, they have it all! If you aren't from texas, or not near a buccees this is a must stop, bathroom/souvenir shop! It's typically very busy but if you're lucky you get there at the sweet spot and don't have to wait in line after stocking up on your favorite treats! read more

Oh how I wish a Buc-ee's was similar to other gas stations, and were in every city and on every corner lol .. but the greatness that lies within them, I can truly understand and appreciate why they are not. So many businesses would loose money because of them , in my opinion. It's Such a great establishment, outside of always being busy. They are always so clean , well ran , fully stocked, organized and full of goodies. The Chick-fil-A of gas stations, as one of my daughters described it. I've been to a number of different Buc-ee's locations while traveling, and I've never had a bad experience. The staff are always friendly and glad to the many different people come and go . From the gas stations, to the car washes , to amazing bbq sandwiches, to the merchandise, all the way to the clean bathrooms. I will almost always stop at a Buc-ee's even if and when I have all I need , just because I know I'm going to find something amazing in there . This last time around we were making a small trip to Austin Texas from Dallas. I always see so many pple walking around with Buc-ee's merchandise (hats, shirts, sweaters, etc ), so I had to make sure I stopped to get me a little something as well . We intended to only be in there for a few mins( in and out ), but we end up spending close to 30 mins browsing around. I highly recommend everyone at least visit a buc-ee's at least once in their life , and I noticed as we were departing, that they were hiring. They have some really competitive pay rates, so anyone living near one looking for a job, from the looks of it they pay well . read more

Went for gas and restroom break. The restrooms are sooo clean. Snacked on some jerky and pecans. Yummm!

THE CALIFORNIAN MIND CANNOT COMPREHEND THE MAJESTY OF BUC-EE'S. My god, a single step in and I KNEW I was immediately going to become a big, big Buc-ee's fan. Super cheap gas, that becomes even cheaper with a purchase of their car wash. Insanely clean bathrooms with so, so many stalls. Crazy that they also had a light indicator system showing which stalls were occupied and which ones were vacant. This location even had more sinks/handwash stations/trashcans in the rest room than the one in Temple (which in its own right is massively huge). There's freshly made sandwiches, burritos (their Texas Philly Cheesesteak - aka cheesesteak burrito is a MUST), bakery goods such as kolaches, a huge wall of super cheap fountain drink soda, fresh jerky and glazed nuts, fudge made in house, entire walls of so, so many flavors of jerky, nuts, candies, chips, and sweets, and OF COURSE the Buc-ee's merchandise! My GOD I love the branding that Buc-ee's has. SO MUCH of their foods and snack stuffs are owned and produced by them and I gotta admit, that stuff is GOOD. Gotta get the Beaver Nuggets (tastes like kettle corn/Captain Crunch puffs), their jerky (Bohemian garlic is pretty good), and nuts/trailmix (dad is a big fan of the bagel seasoning cashews I brought back). I also got some really yummy mango sour belts, flavor that I have never seen elsewhere. Their merch is super cute too and trendy too, if I wasn't limited by my flight and bags, I would have went even more crazy than I did here. Cute seasonal Halloween Buc-ee's goods, shirts and other apparel, useful items like bottle opener nail clipper, magnets, hats, all forms of beverage holders, plushies of all sizes galore, car goods like peeker stickers, air fresheners, bumper stickers, license plate frames, etc., playing cards, keychains, coasters (coworkers loved these), stickers, lawn inflatables, pool floats, and so much more. Lots of the stuff you buy there, the price tag IS A STICKER, which is quite neat. The workers always welcome you in and everything goes so efficiently. Buc-ee's will always be a stop for me in Texas! read more

A very interesting experience at Bucee, so many good food and snack options to browse through. I ended up getting the but samplers, jerky, beaver nuggets , and souvenirs while's shopping. The bathroom were in fact very clean. Gas was super cheap compared to others in the area. My only negative is just how busy it is with people coming in and out, very likely to get a fender bender. Overall though it was a fun experience at this Bucee location! read more

Buc-ee's - Gas Stations Near Me - Hillsboro, Texas

Wow, just wow!! This was my first time ever in a Buc-ee's as I live in a state that doesn't have one. This place is incredible, it's like walking into a giant convenience store with all sorts of food, sandwiches, candy, candied nuts, jerky, and much, much more! They have many beverages including alcoholic ones. They have clothing including the Bu-cee Beaver onesie! I tried it on and I bought it. A great Halloween costume! Plenty of gas pumps here and tons of parking. It was definitely busy when we were here, but not packed by any stretch. Restrooms were nice and clean as anticipated. I look forward to hopefully visiting another Buc-ee's while I'm visiting Texas to take a few more unique gifts back home. I definitely recommend a visit to Buc-ee's and if it is your first visit, don't miss it! read more

Brand new Buc-ee's. I was concerned that the in-and-out would be difficult due to the location, but I didn't find that to be true. It was easy--same food and service as every other Buc-ee's. The bathroom is clean. This bathroom has lights above the doors to indicate which ones are free. Better than walking past all the doors to figure it out. Gas is the main reason we stop here. Always a few cents cheaper than other places. Food is higher than in other places. If you stay to fill your gas tank and empty your bladder, but not refill your stomach, it's a great stop. I will always stop at a Buc-ee's over other places. There are also plenty of places to let the pups empty their bladders. read more

"Earthlings, I repeat earthlings. The Beaver has taken over the town! Remain calm and pick up your bbq sandwiches at your earliest convenience." This is what I imagine the Aliens are saying in their hidden drones over Hillsboro, TX. They are also probably very curious why there is so much hype around this furry lil' creature. ;D Regardless what they are thinking... We are thinking I'm glad this Beaver has landed! Buc-ee's truly has it all. Everything and anything, you can think of, they have. It's the spot to stop on any road trip in Texas. They will cover gas, snacks, drinks, clothes, spices, dog toys, random household items, bbqs and more and MORE! If you've never stopped at one, you got too! read more

Brisket has no flavor. Tasted like ham. Not impressed for the price. Over priced brisket. Don't waste your money.

The bad: There's no fresh food here. Everything is pre-packaged for grab and go. Want fresh, hot beaver chips? Here's some lukewarm ones that were made sometime today that are hard as a rock. Buc-ee's is so big now, there's no more homemade taste - the bbq sandwich we got had this weird chemical "smoke" flavor added. One bite was all we could do before tossing it in the trash. I'll keep stopping here for the cleanest restrooms around, good gas prices and mostly friendly faces. I'm bummed that, with the expansion, food quality has plummeted. read more

Note: I'm a fan of the Buc-ee's chain so my views might be biased. Awesome 5 start convenience store/gas station. Lots of parking around the store and the edges of the parking lots. Tons of gas pumps with unleaded and diesel options. Very clean inside facilities. Delicious food: we had the keto kit, sausage and tortilla, Club sandwich, fresh chips, sliced brisket sandwich, diet Dr Pepper, icees and beef jerky were awesome! Went there driving to Decatur from Houston and came back again when driving back the next day. Would recommend and will return! read more

Buc-ee's is hands down the coolest gas station/convenience store I've ever been to! I've never seen anything like it. It was bustling with people, and it's clear that many make a point to stop here--and for good reason. While some items are on the pricier side, it's absolutely worth stopping in if you've never experienced it before. My husband tried one of their barbecue sandwiches and raved about how wonderful it was. We also picked up some candy and adorable souvenirs for the family. Despite the crowd, the customer service was friendly and helpful. A fun, memorable stop that's more than just a gas station! read more

Okay love Buc-ee's but I do not like the YELLING in the store by management and staff . It was not busy during our visit this time and I just want to say...It makes me extremely nervous. When I am in a public places with a ton of people and hear yelling out of nowhere I automatically think active shooter or something equally alerting... but here it happens when a register opens up. It's not necessary and not adding to the experience. read more

One of the newest Buc-ee's locations in Texas! I've been to many Buc-ee's locations and this may be the biggest one I've ever been too (it's not the largest, but its damn big). You really can't go wrong with anything here. The food is great, the staff is great, the restrooms are great. Everything is great. If you need to make a pit stop, I highly recommend that you make it at Buc-ee's. read more

When it comes to "rest stops," how can you not give Buc-ee's 5 stars? First, the basic things that you go to a rest stop for are done with perfection: gas and bathrooms. Next, they have an amazing assortment of packaged foods and merchandise (I got a T Shirt and 3 bags of jerky). Next, the beverage section is well organized and spotless. Add to that the fresh brisket and jerky bar, and you'll find yourself stopping here even if you don't need gas or the bathroom. Can't wait to go back! read more

Bathrooms are clean and well maintained Fuel cost is great $2.32 on this date is good Bbq brisket sandwich was ok but not hot and rather old. The store is clean, the employees friendly and it's got a lots of merchandise But the club sandwich was dry, old and has grizzled ham. The beaver chips were stale. The sausage on a stick was not hot, not fresh and the flour tortilla was very soggy. The fudge had no flavor which I thought was odd for chocolate fudge. If this had been my first Buc-cees trip, I would most likely buy fuel and leave. But it's not and I know it to be better. Come on Hillsboro, Refresh and do better. Put a time stamp on those sandwiches and do a training session. read more

Ok Buc-ee's cult member here. I'm always amazed to see what's in store for me when I stop. A halfway stop in my trip and built since last time thru this area. The largest one in Texas, 13acres, 120 gas pumps, Tesla EV chargers, cheap gas prices, clean restrooms with no wait seating and pretty much everything you need, what's not to love. Dirty car? One of the longer car washes in the world can clean it- I'd have tried but I was in a rental car. About $150, including fuel & breakfast(kolaches to go) and I'm on the road again. They're popping up all over the Southern US states. Maybe we'll get a New Mexico store so I can get my Buc-ees fix closer to home. read more

We stopped by at this store on our way to Fort Worth. The restroom was super clean. The green-red lights installed at each restroom made it easy to find an available one. We also always love the varietyof snacks. We do not live in Texas, so Buc-ee's visit is a must when we visit Texas. read more

Extremely busy to enter and exit! Completely overcrowded; however my issue with this Buc-ee's is its culture. During my visit, I observed a concerning interaction between a manager and a black cashier who was assisting me. As the cashier was checking out my items, the manager came over and appeared to verify every item being rung up, which felt like a clear display of distrust. This behavior was not only disrespectful to the employee but also made me feel uncomfortable as a customer. Such actions reflect poorly on the store's culture and its treatment of employees. I advised Buc-ee's of this incident and never heard back. read more

I always thought the gas prices were competitive or at least close, but on Friday I paid over 40 cents MORE per gallon of gas at the Hillsboro location than I did for gas the next day at SAMS in Ft. Worth. Sorry Beaver.... I am no longer buying anything from you. Even the Fudge I purchased a while back was old and stale and not worth the hassle. Driving from Dallas, we stopped to refuel our automobile. Amazing! The price was $2.07 per gallon. I went inside to use their storied restroom and to top off my water cup. To my Yeti, I added about 1 cup of ice and 4-5 ounces of water. My Yeti was already two-thirds full. I was just topping it off with drinking water, not soda or any other beverage. As I was exiting the front door, I noticed a police officer stationed there. I greeted the officer and she asked me what was in my cup. I answered, "Water." She said I had to pay for the water. I said, "For water?" She instructed me to see the cashier. The cashier warmly greeted me. Puzzled, I explained that I had just topped off my Yeti with drinking water and the officer said I had to pay for it. The cashier affirmed that I must pay for the water because it is quadruple filtered. I asked once again, "For drinking water?" She said yes. I said okay and was charged $2.15. Shocked, I once again said, "For water?!" She just looked at me and I paid. It later occurred to me that I paid less for 1 gallon of gasoline than for 5 ounces of drinking water. Travelers, beware! This monstrous gas station that is making money hand over fist will not let you have free drinking water. Buc-ee's: I've been a loyal patron for many years. This is strike one. read more

Buc-ee's - Gas Stations Near Me - Hillsboro, Texas

Extremely Disappointed with Buc-ee's Hillsboro, TX This location was a complete letdown. Buc-ee's claims to care about customers, but Hillsboro clearly doesn't. I tried to return an item, and nowhere on the receipt does it say returns aren't allowed. Turns out, the return policy is printed on a tiny piece of paper hidden behind the counter -- completely invisible to customers. How is anyone supposed to know that? Jennifer, the bookkeeper, couldn't give me a single valid reason why this policy wasn't disclosed upfront. Her response was vague and dismissive, which only added to the frustration. To top it off, the selection of sugar-free items was pathetic. For a store that's supposed to offer variety, this was a joke. I left feeling ignored, misled, and disappointed. If you value transparency, decent product selection, and basic respect as a customer -- skip the Hillsboro Buc-ee's. It's not worth your time. read more

Buc-ee's...IYKYK!!! My family and I just took a trip to Texas and visiting a Buc-ee's was a MUST DO on our trip...and we were not disappointed. The best way to describe Buc-ee's, it's a gas stations...but like 100 pumps....and the it's a convince store....but the size of Walmart! Ok, not that big, but you get the idea it's big. When you walk into the Buc-ee's enter from the center doors. This will give you the best experience on your first visit. When you do that, you are in the center on the action...the FOOD!!! All the snacks you would imagine on a road trip gas station....but then you toss in the Freshly made BBQ Brisket and pulled park sandwiches, the roasted peanuts, the jerky, the pastries...I could go on and on. Then as you make your way throughout the store, you find all the apparel and house goods. We went crazy. Everyone got Buc-ee shirts, and sweaters and even a onesie pajama set. Honestly, do a youtube search of Buc-ee's before you go and it will help. I watched tons of videos before I went. Buc-ee's is known for having the cleanest bathrooms. And while Hillsboro location is no exception, they did just open, so everything was clean and beautiful. But while I was in the bathroom, I watched one of the workers cleaning the toilet....on his hands an knee's and scrubbing and wiping even the backsides of the toilet. WOW!!! I wish I needed to do more in there....probably even cleaner than my own. We are HUGE fans of Buc-ee's. 5 total Buc-ee's stops through Texas on our 10 day trip. Hillsboro was our favorite. read more

Jerky counter closed. Employees seemed depressed. Not like other Buccees where employees actually seemed to enjoy their jobs. The cashier just threw all my stuff in bags.
