I don't blame them for the outage or whatever reason they may have for this, but there was absolutely no heads-up until approaching the cash register for final checkout. My very first visit to Buc-ee's- I think I walked around an hour just looking at everything. It's definitely a store with food and gifts for all ages! I kept picking up items and asking myself do I really need this and myself was saying yes . I left with a variety of items, snacks, and a veggie burrito which was delicious. I mean who doesn't love Buc-ee's? Pro Tip here, skip the first entrance in unless you need fuel. It back up all the way to I-95. Go long and use the 2nd entrance which is also the exit and it takes you along the back of the building for easier in/out. read more

Everyone has to stop to see this unique establishment. Buc-ees chain of travel centers is known for clean bathrooms and a huge number of fueling positions. It's known to have the world's longest car wash, as well as the world's largest convenience store. Sandwiches of all kinds, packaged fresh sausages, salads, vegetable snacks, jerky to name a few are avaiable. Soda dispensers and a bakery too. Buc-ees own fresh potato chips are prepared to go. There is huge array of packaged potato chips, popcorns, candies, nuts, etc. available. There are areas to buy t'shirts, household gifts, children clothing, too numerous to remember. This location is always busy no matter what the time of day. The inside is clean. The bathrooms are spotless. Every crew member greets you. They ask if you need assistance finding anything. Finally made it to a Buc-ee's after years of hearing about them. If you're on a road trip, you have to make this place a stop on your list. The property itself is very spacious. Plenty of parking. Buc-ees has all the feel of walking into a Cracker Barrel with all the neat merchandise from clothes, souvenirs, toys and trinkets, yet also a place with delicious snacks and food. The bbq is no joke. As you walk in you can see at the counter the meat being prepared for sandwiches. The employee at the butcher counter announcing every step he did. We picked up some brisket sandwiches. I got the chopped brisket and wow. So tender and seasoned perfectly. The sauce on the brisket was just the right on the sweet and smokiness. I would get that again. We also picked up some banana pudding that was not sweet and balanced well. One of our favorite snacks are the beaver nuggets. Sweet crunchy snack that is super addictive. For the kiddos they also had a Buc-ee mascot walking around to take pictures with the kids and there was an employee that help take pictures if needed. They also had stickers to give the kids too. If you need a bathroom restroom this is the place. Individual rooms being cleaned constantly by staff to ensure as much as possible that it's clean. There are also two baby changing stations by the ends of the sink. I only wished they had hooks for the diaper bag to hang to make the changes a little easier. The new Buc-ee's in Brunswick, GA, just off I-95, opened in July 2025, and it's everything you'd expect from a Buc-ee's -- huge, clean, and packed with food and drink options. This location has plenty of gas pumps, an enormous store filled with snacks, drinks, BBQ sandwiches, branded merchandise, and more. As usual, we stocked up on some of our favorites -- spicy salsas, sauces, and a few select candies. I had the Carolina Pulled Pork sandwich, and it was delicious -- smoky, tender, and well-sauced. No surprise there. The restrooms were just as Buc-ee's promises: spotless. A new addition I hadn't seen before -- the bathroom stalls now have red or green lights above the doors to indicate whether they're occupied. Super helpful and efficient! Access from I-95 is a bit different here -- the layout uses traffic circles instead of traffic lights, which is an interesting approach, but there were still backups, especially on the northbound exit ramp. Hopefully that smooths out over time. As much as I love Buc-ee's, the same complaints still apply: * No seating area to eat your food -- which makes messy sandwiches tricky to handle in the car. * No Coca-Cola products anymore, even though the soft drink selection is vast. * And finally, people leave their cars parked at the gas pumps while they go inside, making it hard to find a pump or pull out. Some signage could really help here. Despite those ongoing gripes, this is still a great addition to the Buc-ee's family, and we'll definitely be stopping here on future trips. read more

This was a disaster. This was only my third time at Buc-ee's and definitely the worst. The place was enormous. This one has a dog park and definitely more pumps than other locations I have been to. There was a mile of traffic getting in. Once inside, you had to deal with the chaos of finding an open pump. A lot of issues seemed to caused by customers. If you know people are waiting for gas, why would you leave your car parked at the pump while you go into the store? That doesn't include the pompous ass I saw park at the pump and walk his dog over to the dog park. That's some real arrogance. Inside was mobbed. I luckily had no issue inside. In and out of the bathroom. Grabbed a pulled pork sandwich and was in line and paid in about two minutes. The sandwich was good, but didn't have enough sauce for my liking. Getting out of the parking lot was another horror story. Not sure if it was busy because it was 330 in the afternoon or it's always like this. It was so clean, the restrooms, the staff was friendly and smiling, I ordered the brisket and Mac n cheese as well as the Smoked Turkey Sandwich (extremely underrated, might I add) it was all phenomenal !!! Now let's address the obvious. What do you call those gas station thingies? The individual gas nozzle pod pump hut stall thing? Well I don't know either but Buc-ee's has approximately 872 of them. Okay, it's actually 220 plus but once you're in that sea of red gas handles and oversized pickup trucks, numbers lose meaning. It's like the Costco of combustion. And speaking of unloading--delicately now--I've got to tell you about the restrooms. Because honey, if you haven't peed at a Buc-ee's, you haven't truly lived. It's like the Garden of Eden had a baby with a NASCAR pit stop. Picture this: the line is long, yes, but it moves like Chick Fil A on rollerblades. And get this! There are red and green lights above every stall to let you know which ones are available. Red means stop. Green means go--and oh darling, you go in every sense of the word. I don't know who came up with this, but it smells suspiciously like something King Solomon would've thought up while organizing temple latrines. But enough potty talk--let's fill up that sacred temple of a body. Buc-ee's offers food options so abundant you'll feel like you've stumbled into a state fair run by Martha Stewart on caffeine. Brisket, fudge, kolaches, jerky, and yes even Whole Foods friendly options for those of us whose digestive systems are... high maintenance. I myself had a salad and a side of watermelon so fresh I nearly wept. It was, as the youths say, "the bomb." And don't stop there. You can fill up your pantry, your closet, your camper, and your sense of wonder. You want a sequin beaver hoodie? They got it. You need a Texas shaped cutting board? Got it. This is an awesome Buc-ee's! Let me preface by saying that we stopped by early in the morning around 1am but it was truly great! There was no traffic getting off 95 and the roundabouts make it pretty easy to cross over and get into the parking lot. We got some gas because it was cheaper than in Jacksonville and so I decided to top off. We went inside to use the restroom, get some drinks and I needed some cough drops and nasal spray since I had a cold. I found everything I needed! The nasal spray was only $2. So much cheaper than a drug store. They also had the honeeyz cough drops with real honey and they had the regular and menthol varieties. I got a hot coffee and we got some soft drinks as well. The restrooms were nice and clean. The check out was a breeze! They have more gas pumps than the Daytona or St. Augustine location which was great. I would easily stop in on my next trip north! read more

Great Buccee's stop along I-95 near Brunswick. Buc-ee's was founded in 1982 by Arch "Beaver" Aplin III and Don Wasek in Clute in Texas In the 44 years of operation it has grown from a modest gas station into a chain of travel centers celebrated for their large facilities and excellent bathroom cleanliness. As of 2024, Buc-ee's operates 50 locations across nine states, with 35 in Texas and two in Georgia. This location is on the east side of I95 just north of the Golden Isles Welcome center and just south of the Altamaha river. It has a lot of roundabouts to get to and from the building. If you are comfortable with these traffic circles then you will probably like the entry and exits. The gas pumps are all in a row on the north side of the building. There is a cute bbq sauce sign close to the road on the south side of the building. The layout of the store is very similar to most other stores with really clean restrooms located along the back with the food in the center, the essentials to one side and the other sale items to the opposite side of the large open room. Gas prices were good. We picked up some candied pecans and drinks. The store was very clean and the staff was very friendly. Overall, a good location to stop for a break, shopping and gas on the way to your location. read more
