I absolutely love Buc-ee's and have been to many. They had all the bells and whistles of a great make your own coffee station, snacks, and more! The gas was priced well and I loved that they had a walking path for my dog who desperately needed to stretch his legs. However usually I would give Bucees a 5 star review in a heartbeat. But I felt this location was dirtier than usual. I went to three different stalls which were all filthy. I make sure I plan my trips to stop at Buc-ees since I usually love and appreciate how clean their bathrooms are. This location was a bit disappointing. read more

What is there not good about a Buc-ee's? Amazing jerky, amazing meats, amazing atmosphere, just always a Buc-ee's experience. I love their brisket and their pulled pork. Turkey and sausage are good too, but I'm a Texan and brisket is my love. Tried a bunch of jerky, flavored nuts and not a fudge person, but they have so many options. If you have never been then you definitely need to stop in even if it is just to use the restroom room. This place was super clean even with the massive amount of people there. We went in for a bathroom break and left with a ton of snacks for our car ride and for later on. The quality of the food is solid. We got breakfast burritos and brisket sandwiches. Whether I coming south or going north, I always stop for the clean bathrooms, fun knick knacks, and snacks. This place can be overwhelming, but do not let that intimidate you. There is something in it for everyone, if you only take the time to explore. What I love the most here though is the prices. For a fun travel stop, this place is very reasonable. Whether you're buying a sweatshirt, sandwich, or energy drink, you will not feel like you are shelling out at the check-out line. I hope to god you guys don't have to do anything with the customer service. I stopped by the other day and got one of the wine tumblers because they were cute and a gift, but I go to wrap it and there is nothing inside. I call the number and it says go to the website. Weird that you cannot talk to anyone about purchases but ok. I go to the website and it gives you three links for customer service. Why are all three links the same thing? Anyways, it gives you an AI chat or something similar. I explain the situation how there was nothing. It asks it was sure and I said yes. And then it has the audacity to tell you that for a dollar they can help with the problem. No worries, it's fully refundable. I don't understand how capitalistic places can be when it comes to their customer service knowing full well the internet can and will be used against them. It doesn't have to be a representative of that store, just someone you can call with questions would be good enough. If the phone call provided one of those press this number to get here then I feel like a lot of hurt feelings and wasted money could be avoided over there products that since it was empty, not my mistake, I could figure out how it could be reconciled. I'm going back in a few days when I'll be on my way home, so there will be an update if an exchange or return could be provided to me. I did get to exchange the tumbler for one with the actual tumbler inside. I went up to the counter where the man said he'd get a person but ended up having to chase someone down who said they couldn't do anything. This happened with a couple of people before a lady said she could do it and quickly took care of the problem. She was quick and got a replacement within the next few minutes. This place is pretty cool. I believe the hype. I've heard from people of the "wow" factors about this place. From the numerous gas station pumps and car washes, to the food and brand items they sell inside the store. I'm assuming there are better buc-ee's out there in the mainland United States. We bought some pecan and nuts and bag items, got some chicken salad and tow different versions of the briskets, chopped and sliced. I love the sliced one, has good amount of sauce and not too overly sauced like the chopped XXL one. Idk it's just my preference, maybe you like it more saucy and I like to taste the brisket more. Who cares, both taste good. They got a lot of food items from burgers sandwiches, salads, wraps, pastries, chips and nuts. My first visit won't be my last. My future has another visit in the works. We visited Buc-ee's at 6 AM on a Monday. Of course, there was no crowd, and they had fresh breakfast sandwiches laid out for purchase. They offer beef jerky, elk, beef sausages, and tons of junk food (i.e., candy bars, gummies, etc.). Plus, they had clothing and souvenirs with Buc-ee's beaver logo plastered all over them. The restrooms were clean, and no issues to mention. We didn't purchase gasoline, but they had eighty gas pumps, and unlike Love's, Pilot, and Flying J, they don't allow semi-trucks. So, you don't have to be concerned about being hit by a massive truck as you enter or exit the parking area. read more

I can't say I've ever had a Buc-ee's stop that wasn't a 5-star experience! This was my first time stopping at this location. They have the full car wash if that is something you're looking for. The staff on duty were all exceptionally nice and helpful. The store was very clean and well-stocked. The restrooms were plentiful and clean as well. I purchased the Club Melt to eat on my drive. Get gas, ice, snacks, drinks, souvenirs, and a great assortment of home goods and accessories at this iconic 24/7 travel center and convenience store! This location in Athens is huge, so getting in and out is a bit of a challenge. Still, there's ample parking and lines inside and out move quickly, with service at the food counters inside moving relatively fast. Every time I have went there the employees were great ! The car wash employees were exceptional until today. I went through the process for the car wash. When I finally made it to the wash area I noticed that on the ticket I had the Vac but no mention of the tire treatment. I asked the white guy abut it and got a rude and disrespectful answer he said in a harsh tone you punched the numbers did you not? I gave him the ticket and he said I don't want that !! I recently heard of Buc-ee's. And the stories of the size and expanse hold up, but still - it's something you really need to see in person to comprehend. Think "typical gas station convenience store" (like 7-11, Kwik Trip, PDQ, etc) but on a Wal-Mart scale. It's insane, really. Our problem was that this particular place was super busy when we stopped. I had to work my way down the sea of gas pumps, landing on pump 206 (you did not read that wrong). It was a decent walk into the store itself from that pump. Inside, it's huge. Just massive. Thankfully, the bathrooms aren't that far in the back. They have everything, however. If you're looking for a gas stop during your trip, and you want to walk around and get distracted a bit - this is your place. If you just want to top off your tank and grab a candy bar and a soda - this place is overkill. Note - at the pump they were plugging their employment opportunities. So this place is sensory overload. It's absolutely enormous. I've never seen so many gas pumps in one place in my life. They don't advertise the gas price until you pull up to the pump like all the other interstate places do. But I found the gas to be on par, cheaper than some others. The place had so many employees it was amazing. It was super clean, sold everything and got you in and out quickly. My kids insisted that my wife and I stop on our way past one. Now the kids weren't with us, but wanted us to stop anyway. We bought a bunch of Bucc-ee stuff for ourselves and kids. Even bought my son a brisket sandwich that I threw in the cooler for him to eat hours later. I'm amazed at how many people were there, but yet they kept the lines moving quickly. I met a couple in this place on opening day who drove down from Indiana just to visit! To start...after the newness wears off you won't have trouble finding an available gas pump. Make a note of where you are filling up, though--they likely have 100 gas pumps y'all. It could be like getting lost in a mall parking lot. You can't just stop here for gasoline, though. Find your way inside for a wide variety of fresh food, drinks, and custom branded treats. Then there is the merchandise--toys, some decor, clothing, and more--you can knock out a huge chunk of your Christmas shopping list at this place. There really is something for everyone. Also, the prices are great for the brands they carry. I was very satisfied with that. I am writing this on opening day, November 21, 2022. There is a lot that could go wrong on opening day. This place was PACKED! It was difficult to maneuver the store, but in 30 minutes we managed. When it was time to checkout we had a cashier meet us and gently direct us to the register. Piece of cake...Buc-ees was prepared. Don't hesitate to check it out...anytime. They are open 24x7x365.
