* There is a wide variety beef jerky at Buc-ee's in packages. I used to get it all the time, but it's gotten worse on quality. The last several times I purchased it, mouth drooling till I took a bite, then disappointed because it was so tough I couldn't even bite off a piece. So disappointing when the flavor is good, but you can't eat it because you're in fear of pulling teeth out. On the other hand, I have discovered the jerky in the butcher shop is more tender and fresh. But, you still have to eat it right away, or it'll toughen up and be the same way. Also, it's a higher price. Depending on how much you get, which may not be much at all, you may think you're buying a huge Ribeye steak. lol. My favorite flavor is Cherry Maple, but I also like Korean Barbecue, Steakhouse, and Teriyaki. * Buc-ee's has a fried Apple pie that is covered in cinnamon sugar. I used to like it, but I'm not going to get it anymore. It's decreased in size and quality. It used to be fried perfectly. Now, it seems to fried too much, to the point of having a hard, non-tasty crust. * The sub sandwich is delicious! Not only does it taste great, but it brings back memories for me. It's the closest thing to Kmart subs I've ever been able to find. Besides the blue light specials, that's the only reason I ever entered Kmart. Lol. I always look forward to road trips because I know that I can find my friendly buc-ee's on the way! It always feels like a destination rather than just a pit stop. Unfortunately, this one was not up to my full expectations. The customer service gentleman at checkout was extremely rude and made us feel extremely uncomfortable. I even tried to go out of my way to wish him a great day but it was just a really bad experience. The only other person I interacted with was the people at the beef jerky counter, they were super kind, had a huge smile on their face, and was happy to answer any questions I had and I did not feel like I was a burden. The facilities was clean, everything was well stocked, but customer service is big for me and needs to be consistent in order to get a five-star experience. read more

Yep, I am a fan of Buc-ee's. This location has gas pumps as far as the eye can see. Your typical Buc-ee's with everything under the sun for sale inside and the cleanest restrooms you will find. Our latest discovery is the Brisket Burritos. And of course you can't go to Buc-eel' without grabbing a bag or three of Beaver Nuggets. My family always picks buccees for bathrooms and snacks while traveling and have LOVED them for a long time now. But not the case here...For the first time EVER the bathrooms were not clean at this location. Several Staff were just standing around and not helpful to customers. My kids wanted hot chocolate and the machine was "broken" on the right side and the left the lady wasn't sure why was turned off. The manager 'Austin' could not be bothered to help us obtain some of the powder to mix the hot chocolate ourselves. (Even though i was paying full price) Won't be visiting this buccees again. Which is a shame since we travel this area frequently. Just so everyone is aware the gas station across the street had hot chocolate and ALL of the staff was pleasant and helpful! read more

I had never been to a buc-ee's before and when the opportunity on my road trip came up I said yes here is my chance as they do not have them in Michigan! I was shocked by how clean, nice, organized and efficient it was! From the home goods, buc-ee's merch section the store was beautiful to say the least! The bathrooms so clean you could eat off the floors! Prices I could were reasonable! I got lunch which was a pulled pork sandwich and a small container of chicken salad and a coconut cream pie cup. Everything was delicious! And handy to eat on the go which I learned is the idea with Buc-ee's as the one I stopped at had no tables inside or out to eat at. On my journey I also got a car wash and they had free bug chemical cleaner if you're just stopping through, but they also had a phenomenal car wash, which was the longest by distance I had ever been through and my car looked great after all the bugs on it on my road trip. To say I liked Buc-Ed's was an entertainment as I did end up stopping at another one a couple hours down the road because I knew I was gonna get top quality and a very nice clean bathroom to use on my road trip journey. Another great Buc-ee's experience. This was the largest Buc-ee's when it opened. Huge number of pumps with cheap gas and contactless payment. The store had the usual spotless restroom and all the regular Buc-ee's goodies. I love their beef jerky, fudge, hot sandwiches, and drink selection. And this store had a large selection of travel related items I have not seen at the other, smaller Buc'ee's I've visited. I hope Buc-ee's will eventually expand to my home area. read more

Stopped here on the way back home, wow is this store HUGE. Lots of pumps for gas, great discounts if you get a wash with your fill up. Onto the food, I had the brisket sandwich which was very tender with great flavor. The beef sticks they sell were decently priced and tasty. I would get both again. The entrance and exit are not sufficient to handle the traffic. Could not get gas because people were leaving their vehicle at the pump and going in to get food. Who doesn't love a gas station amusement park. There are so many staples and extra goodies for each state. We have to stop at every single one. Let's talk about the restrooms. The restrooms are comfortable, sealed individual rooms. There was a panicked mom yelling outside the man's room asking if her 9 year old son was ok. Yet when I was washing my hands a female attendant yelled man on the floor as a maintenance man walked past me in the women's restroom. So that said, shouldn't the 9 yr old have been with the mom? What can you say about a stop at a Buc-ees.... They have the best gas prices... most locations have over 250 pumps and a dozen electric charging stations... they have pulled pork and brisket and chicken sandwiches.... Sausage and turkey sandwiches... fresh made bakery goods ..... a grocery area.... Bucees branded shirts, sweaters, underwear, sleepwear... seasonal stuff.... You got the time to look around have at it! The only drawback are the crowds.... Trying to get to a pump for gas can be tricky... be patient. But Buc-ees allows people to get gas and leave their car at the pumps. So that makes it difficult to find available pumps. The staff does a great job moving the people thru the registers and at the counters for food. The bathrooms are remarkably clean. Better that some hotels I'd say. If you're pressed for time, you might consider a small gas station to fuel up ... but bucees gas prices a usually the best in the area and their amenities are unparalleled. read more

It's was like a grocery store/Target/Cracker Barrel store vibe for me. I ended up doing a lot of Christmas shopping there. They had everything from clothing to housewares to beef jerky. I stopped counting gas pumps around 25, so I doubt you would ever have a wait to get gas. Plenty of parking on each side and well lit. Bathrooms were very nice and super clean! **April 2025: Saturday Afternoon Visit** Buc-ee himself was in the store! This is my second time visiting the iconic truckers pit-stop and I was so happy to see the main beaver himself! I think his attendent said that he makes an appearance on weekends at this location. This Buc-ees is similar to it's other locations in that they have housemade sweets and savory goodies and merch galore. I ended up buying a bag of beaver nuggets ($4.98) - which are like a sweet and crunchy puffed corn, pecan brittle ($4.98), and a souvenir t-shirt ($17.89) for my family. The area is spacious and clean and this location carried some University of Tennessee gear as well for all your Vols fans. If you're looking for a souvenir they have lots of branded merch including cups, magnets, clothing, and food. Also, the workers are all very energetic and friendly. I have yet to visit one of their locations and the cleanliness wasn't up to par. The customer service is always pleasant (for the most part, I say the bc it's always one!!), the restrooms are always clean and someone is always in there keeping an eye on things. The prices of the brisket sandwiches just keep on rising! This sandwich wasn't as good as usual and they changed the sauce (whyyyyy). I probably won't make this a staple pit stop anymore.
