We did our homework ahead of time and got the chopped beef brisket sandwich, warm nuts (cashews and almonds), fresh chips, banana pudding, peach cobbler, beaver nuggets and gummy bears. The chopped beef brisket was top notch! Even though it's chopped, there were still significant chunks of juicy flavorful pieces of beef. Make sure to get the pickles, onions and extra bbq sauce! The warm nuts were awesome! Crunchy and sweet. The beaver chips are kettle chips. We got a fresh batch but after it sat awhile they were soggy. Banana pudding was legit. Peach cobbler didn't have enough peaches in it. The beaver nuggets are like corn puffs with a caramel coating. Very good! Gummy bears were soft. Yum! We loaded up on T-shirts, hats and socks before we had to regulate ourselves and put away the adult onesie. Buc-ee's has everything you could possibly want and need and then some. We got outta there and dropped over $200 (a Costco run for us)! The only thing that could make it better is if they had seating to enjoy all the food!

Most Shell stations take off 10 cents per gallon when using a Kroger card. This station both years took $1 per gallon off. We have made notes to be sure this is the station we go to on repeat trips.

When my husband used his Kroger loyalty card we were surprised that we got $1. off per gallon rather than the traditional 10 cents off. This year I had written down to take exit 417 to get gas at Shell. Before filling up my husband and I joked together that we probably wouldn't even get the ten cents off due to the error last year. Wrong!!! We once again got $1. off per gallon. So for a total of $1.49 per gallon my husband topped off our tank. We made a stop here on our return trip home. This will be a regular stop on our trips to and from NC from KY!

They said they had to run the card again. my husband said you are not going to charge my twice' and thats. what they did. when i went back to get my money they said it was not there fault. i asked who's fault is it. of course it's there fault they should have cancelled the first transaction. but they did not. now it's our problem I have to contacted Exxon and fight with them. That gas station sucks. My husband asked them several times. about being charged twice. they assured him he would not. now it's our problem. this is bullshit they should get mu money back for me. I will never use that station again. And will tell everyone i know.

Approached the blonde haired female clerk, who was on her personal cell phone and was told I would have to "hold on" in order to get my receipt. We attempted to get coffee, but both regular and decaf were completely out. We could overhear the clerk arguing with someone about her welfare benefits. She then got mad when we tried to check out. When I explained that they were completely out of coffee and the pumps were out of receipt paper...she informed me I was being rude ( I guess being a customer rated below her welfare benefits argument). I informed her that customers should have priority over her personal phone call, we were informed " I have the right to refuse your service " my response was never mind we will go elsewhere. She was still arguing with the folks on the phone. If I could have " un-pumped" my gas I would have. We left and went to,a wonderfully nice Shell Station near I-40.
