They had everything (homemade)--BBQ, fudge, banana pudding, and jerky. --Banana pudding was really good, though I wish there was more breading. --Buc-ee's Nuggets are a must-try on road trips--sweet, popcorn-like snacks that remind me of kettle corn. --XXL chopped brisket, it was more than enough for me and my friend--we even had leftovers lol. --For dessert, we had a strawberry ice cream cookie sandwich. Who doesn't love a gas station amusement park. There are so many staples and extra goodies for each state. We have to stop at every single one. Let's talk about the restrooms. The restrooms are comfortable, sealed individual rooms. There was a panicked mom yelling outside the man's room asking if her 9 year old son was ok. Yet when I was washing my hands a female attendant yelled man on the floor as a maintenance man walked past me in the women's restroom. So that said, shouldn't the 9 yr old have been with the mom? What can you say about a stop at a Buc-ees.... They have the best gas prices... most locations have over 250 pumps and a dozen electric charging stations... they have pulled pork and brisket and chicken sandwiches.... Sausage and turkey sandwiches... fresh made bakery goods ..... a grocery area.... Bucees branded shirts, sweaters, underwear, sleepwear... seasonal stuff.... You got the time to look around have at it! The only drawback are the crowds.... Trying to get to a pump for gas can be tricky... be patient. But Buc-ees allows people to get gas and leave their car at the pumps. So that makes it difficult to find available pumps. The staff does a great job moving the people thru the registers and at the counters for food. The bathrooms are remarkably clean. Better that some hotels I'd say. If you're pressed for time, you might consider a small gas station to fuel up ... but bucees gas prices a usually the best in the area and their amenities are unparalleled. read more

How have I never been to a Buc-ee's before?? Oh yeah, because there isn't one near me LOL! So, when I had an opportunity to go, I did. What a treat! It's was like a grocery store/Target/Cracker Barrel store vibe for me. I ended up doing a lot of Christmas shopping there. They had everything from clothing to housewares to beef jerky. I stopped counting gas pumps around 25, so I doubt you would ever have a wait to get gas. Plenty of parking on each side and well lit. Bathrooms were very nice and super clean! My family always picks buccees for bathrooms and snacks while traveling and have LOVED them for a long time now. But not the case here...For the first time EVER the bathrooms were not clean at this location. Several Staff were just standing around and not helpful to customers. My kids wanted hot chocolate and the machine was "broken" on the right side and the left the lady wasn't sure why was turned off. The manager 'Austin' could not be bothered to help us obtain some of the powder to mix the hot chocolate ourselves. (Even though i was paying full price) Won't be visiting this buccees again. **April 2025: Saturday Afternoon Visit** Buc-ee himself was in the store! This is my second time visiting the iconic truckers pit-stop and I was so happy to see the main beaver himself! I think his attendent said that he makes an appearance on weekends at this location. This Buc-ees is similar to it's other locations in that they have housemade sweets and savory goodies and merch galore. I ended up buying a bag of beaver nuggets ($4.98) - which are like a sweet and crunchy puffed corn, pecan brittle ($4.98), and a souvenir t-shirt ($17.89) for my family. The area is spacious and clean and this location carried some University of Tennessee gear as well for all your Vols fans. If you're looking for a souvenir they have lots of branded merch including cups, magnets, clothing, and food. Also, the workers are all very energetic and friendly. Whether you need to stop to fuel up your car or yourself Buc-ee's got you covered for your road-trip! read more

Yes!! This is the first Bucees that I have been to, but my second time here with the hubby. We picked up our usual brisket sandwiches and a few other snacks for the road. I am disappointed after reading online that Buc-ees will accommodate food allergies to not have that experience. I went to two Buc-ee's in the last week remaining hopeful that the first one was a fluke. The employee was making pudding cups and I asked if i couls purchase one without the brownie/ cookie bits because I have a gluten sensitivity. She told me "no, buc-ee's has special secret recipes" that she can't. I had read on multiple reviews that there were gluten friendly sandwiches or bread you could request. Both locations declined that and wouldnt do a breadless option. Over all I am very disappointed in the service I experienced after a higher expectation. read more

I have yet to visit one of their locations and the cleanliness wasn't up to par. The customer service is always pleasant (for the most part, I say the bc it's always one!!), the restrooms are always clean and someone is always in there keeping an eye on things. The prices of the brisket sandwiches just keep on rising! This sandwich wasn't as good as usual and they changed the sauce (whyyyyy). I probably won't make this a staple pit stop anymore. IYKYK!! We heard so much hype about Buc-ee's, we were a bit skeptical. But this travel stop in Sevierville, TN is beyond the hype!! And that's beaver dam straight!! We were headed to Nashville, and stopped here - we also went to Pigeon Forge in the Smoky Mountains and this pit stop was on the way off I-40. We were mesmerized by this huge complex, 74,000 square feet. It's the 2nd largest facility so far! It has 120 gas pumps, 20 EV stations, and 71 restrooms! And not just that, these are the cleanest bathrooms I've ever seen! Two reasons: #1 (pardon the pun) Cleaner than 5 star restaurants! #2 (cheeky puns) I loved the privacy and the red and green lights for vacancy. Two employees were there cleaning as people went in and out of the facilities! I know this is a lot about restrooms, but it's certainly something to crow about! Now, on to the store... this travel center is wild! It has EVERYTHING! From bbq to deli sandwiches to chips and snacks to freshly candied hot nuts, to homemade fudge and candies, to ice cream, fruit, cheeses, you name it they have it! And more beverages than you can name, including a coffee bar! But you won't find Pepsi, they are a Coke fans! There are tons of displays offering the mascot gift ideas, souvenirs, and other shopping gifts and sundries, sunglasses, OTC meds, clothes, hats, toys, t-shirts, not to mention big items like grills, coolers, and camping chairs and equipment! So many things to buy merch wise, tons of fresh food and drinks as well. I got their brisket sandwich and my sister got chicken tenders and fries. I wish they sold just fries because I would have definitely gotten myself fries. My brisket sandwich had a lot of fatty pieces which was a bummer. The entrance and exit are not sufficient to handle the traffic. Could not get gas because people were leaving their vehicle at the pump and going in to get food. Ran out of breakfast items before 10:24am which was disappointing. Not enough lines to check out were open. No people today direct traffic and/or traffic lights not present. Other Buc-ee's are great! This was my first Bucee's experience. I don't know what I was expecting but I was shocked. The sheer number of people in there was overwhelming. It was loud and we were literally shoulder to shoulder. However, I wanted to try the brisket and that's what I did. I got a regular chopped brisket sandwich, salt and vinegar chips, chocolate chip cookies, brownie, glazed pecans and a cinnamon roll. The brisket was PHENOMENAL! It comes with BBQ sauce already on it. You can get a small condiment sized container of sauce, pickles or onion if you choose. The chocolate chip cookies were awesome. The pecans were delicious too. Now that cinnamon roll left a lot to be desired but that's ok. Everything else was so good. This location is labeled as the largest convenience store in the world and I do believe it. The good - it's a good place for large groups to use the restroom. The price for gas was good today. The rest - they have nothing to clean the windshield. Nor paper towels to clean anything else when gassing up. - trucks are not allowed. - the lot is filthy with spilt stuff and gooey. - they welcome dogs, which is fine, but Noone seems to pick up the mess - walk on the grass at your own peril. - they only serve sandwiches with egg from 6 to 9 am. And that's the only time they serve that. The rest of the time it's pork or brisket- only. - the staff is not very friendly. Not unfriendly, just well.. - the coffee is not very good. Oh, there are just about any kind of creamer and sweetener you could ever want, but the coffee still doesn't taste very good. And, it's expensive. I have to say, I was totally unprepared for Buc-ee's. For starters, this place is gargantuan. And when I say gargantuan I don't just mean in size, I mean in a very broad spectrum. For one. I think they have 10 million gas pumps, I have never seen so many gas pumps in my entire life. But that is just a start. Upon entering this wonderland, you are greeted by a large 6-ft tall Beaver. Yes, you heard me right. A giant beaver is their mascot. Apparently his name is Bucky. But I can't be sure, because beavers don't talk. Did I mention this place was gargantuan? It felt like a Walmart, superstore, Costco, the biggest 7-Eleven I've ever seen, and one of the most impressive barbecue food courts in the history of the world. I grabbed a chopped brisket sandwich, a small banana pudding, and a Dr. Pepper. I figured that was about as Southern as I could get. Of course, you can't leave this place without getting some sort of souvenir. So I opted for a t-shirt and a jar of pickled garlic. This place is absolutely amazing and if you don't at least stop once in your travels you are really missing out. The only downside is there is absolutely zero seeding available so I had to stand outside and eat on top of one of their super clean trash cans. I loved that there are many gas pumps so you don't wait, bathroom is huge without any waiting there either, and their snacks are plentiful. Honestly, worst gas experience I've ever had. I needed to pull in and purchase gas at this Buc-ee's on the way home from Nashville, when I went inside I was met with the worst customer service I've experienced from a gas station to date (And that's saying a lot). I attempted to purchase gas with their tap to pay option as my physical card was not an option. I was informed they wouldn't take cards for gas at the attendance station, and their pumps don't actually accept it despite the fact that they have an as an option. With no signage whatsoever stating that these tap options don't work. I was then instructed to buy a gas gift card, in order to pay for my gas which their options were only 25, 50 and 100, they only have select pumps that even except this card so we had to drive back back-and-forth across the gas station trying to figure out which one was which, and then go back inside because the card they gave us was only accepted inside of the store. The piled high brisket sandwiches are phenomenal and I swear they must put something in that sauce that makes you wanna come back for more. Ooooh, I forgot to leave some love for the largest Buc-ee's in the world! LOL...I love when they say stuff like that, because let's be real, are there Buc-ee's outside of the US? No really, asking for a friend. This location is officially in the town of Kodak, TN, but they've labeled it as Sevierville. No idea why, I'm not a local. My husband and I happened to pass through this location on our drive to Nashville, having no idea that it had opened just a few days before our visit. It was like a Walmart on Black Friday. To be honest, every Buc-ee's that I have been to always seem packed, no matter the time or location, but this one was just mad. Cops were directing traffic. The store is on it's own "Buc-ee's" street and perched on top of it's own hill. I am just always amazed at the sheer size of these things. Another thing that amazes me, is for the amount of people in these stores going in and checking out, there were no line ups despite the traffic. And again, as with all my visits at Buc-ee's, I get too overstimulated. I feel like as soon as I get out of my car and into the store, I am in a trance. All I see is beaver and people. We've heard a lot of buzz about Buc-ee's since moving to the south. Last weekend we were finally driving on I-40 from Knoxville to Asheville and we knew we had to stop! The traffic headed to their newest location was busy once we exited the interstate but it was clear additional traffic signals had been installed and the roadway was updated to accommodate the increased traffic volume. We confirmed this location opened on June 26, 2023 and now holds the record for the largest gas station in the world. We were able to find a parking spot easily and made our way to one of the three entrances. Outside we saw a huge row of gas pumps, we later learned from one of the employees there are 128 to be exact! Our jaws literally dropped when we walked inside and saw how big it was along with the huge selection of products. We were amazed how many people were there as well. We were prepared to see an elevated convenience store but Buc-ee's is so much more. The amount of Buc-ee's swag is incredible, you would be hard pressed not to find something to take home with the Beaver's smiling face. Also, be prepared to stock up on everything from beef jerky, candy, fudge, baked goods and other snacks. They also have brisket and brisket sandwiches and other BBQ, a coffee bar, soda fountains, an Icee station, tacos, other sandwiches, packaged fruits and veggies, and more. Two things to note, there is no place inside or outside to eat items you purchase. Buc-ee's is designed in a way where customers are expected to take their food items with them. Also, 18 wheelers are prohibited at their locations. The restrooms are HUGE, clean and well attended by employees. We also couldn't help but notice they are very well staffed throughout the store. We saw at least one sign featuring their wages and were really impressed with the pay scales. This was our first but not our last time at Buc-ee's. We left with some beef jerky, Buc-ee's BBQ sauce, and several Buc-ee's swag items. read more
