Buc-ees is always an experience. Just imagine a gas station with a theme park inside of it, and some of the cleanest restrooms you've ever seen. The staff is friendly and efficient. There's a wide range of everything you could think of, and everything is decently priced. The brisket sandwich I had was absolutely out of this world and restaurant quality. Other recommendations are there steak seasoning, pickled quail eggs, and beaver nuggets. All of which are wholly unique, and well worth the trip alone. Biggest complaint is that they used to have vanilla coated beaver nuggets, which were like a gift from God and they seem to be discontinued which makes me sad at a deeply personal level. read more

What a fun experience at Buc-ee's! I felt like I was at a giant Disney gas station with a giant Disney convenience store with all the fun soft toys, regular toys, sweatshirts, t-shirts, pants, hats, candy, food staples including desserts, camping gear, and whatever else your heart desires that you didn't know that you wanted!! They have quality items that are collectibles now. Their prices are low so it's hard not to put the item in your cart. The store is kept very clean and sparkling as well as the restrooms. The food serving areas were very clean also. You could choose from brisket sandwiches, cookies, Danish, nuts, fudge, and more. I was overwhelmed with all the things that I saw but I loved it all! Their employees are friendly and helpful. Andy, a tall redhead, was very helpful in finding things. He even directed us to the red classic truck stuffed with Buc-ees! For those of you who love taking selfies and photos, you will find many photo opportunities here! The only things in your way are lots of shoppers. My daughter and I bought Buc-ee's mugs, stuffed Buc-ee's and tshirts. We couldn't help it. The gas station is huge and we decided to add to our half full tank since we were here. After visiting a different location, I know and understand these places are tourist traps, but I actually needed gas and hubby begged to get it here since he loves this place. The gas pumps were not nearly as crazy busy as usual so I was able to pull up to a pump and get my gas; now we go inside and I got to watch my husband act like a child. First it was the candy area where he picked a couple bags of stuff that has too much sugar and we don't need but it did look good. Then it was over to the warm, candied pecans for me. And then we went to my husbands favorite two spots. First the hubby and I used their restrooms; so clean. Then hubby went to the counter to pick out some jerkies. He loves it. I love Buc-ees, if you as a question they are more than willing to assist you. We got more than I really wanted. But it was nice to try some new things. I was mainly here for the Brisket sandwich. It was amazing. And I also love all the soda choices. I usually don't get soda, unless it's like a cream soda and a different kind of flavor. I got pineapple flavor; it was so good! I've been to Bucee's twice. One in Alabama and one time here. I tried the brisket in AL and did not like it. The sauce was too sweet and salty. I did want to try their other sandwiches, however. Last night I had the cheesy steakhouse burrito. It was very good. Large portion of "steak" for a burrito and savory cheese sauce. I really enjoyed it. I also got some lemon pepper jerky. It was OK. The store was busy but not packed. Very clean. Very organized. 4 stars because it's expensive. I'm not going to seek out a trip to Bucee's, but I'll definitely go back again on a whim. read more

This is the gas station of my dreams. I have watched numerous Youtube videos on Buc-ee's and was in the St Augustine area, so of course I had to stop in. This is a Texas based gas station that has started making it's way over to Florida where Ocala will have one in the next year or so. When pulling into the parking lot - wow there's so many gas pumps. I literally knew it would be an overwhelming experience but I did not realize what I was going to walking into. My first stop was the infamous cleanest bathrooms in America. Oh, they were not joking at all, the bathrooms were clean and there was an employee cleaning up the sinks immediately after washing your hands. Next stop was to browse and grab some of their iconic menu items - such as the brisket sandwich, Beaver nuggets, Beaver tail, samples of fudge and smoked meats, and lastly a Buc-ee's hat! Also, anything you need - I do mean anything from clothes to flavored jerky to a camping tent, they have it. Their brisket was pretty top notch for a gas station but again this is not an ordinary gas station. The Beaver tail reminded me of a larger danish and was very good. The Beaver nuggets are these caramel puffs that are pretty good but slightly too sweet for me. I had some other items on my list to try but they are served at breakfast time, so I'll have to make an early trip there. A downside of Buc-ee's, during the time I was there which was around 6pm - it's so overwhelming and a madhouse. I can't imagine having kids as they would probably get lost running around the store and some people act so stupid when you are entering the parking lot. Finally made it to a Buc-ee's! This one is in St. Augustine and is a bit smaller than the other locations from what I heard. Even if it's "smaller", this was still the biggest gas station I've been to. They had a good amount of gas pumps, which was great for no wait times to fill up our tank. After filling it up we went inside and I'm happy we went to this one because I don't think it was as overwhelming as I was expecting it to be. It was like a mini walmart but way cleaner and the service was extremely friendly. From being greeted at the entrance to the helpful smiles the whole time we were inside, this was an experience. We had to grab the brisket sandwich and, of course, the candied nuts. After walking around, we opted for some memorabilia that is iconic to get. My partner and I both got sweaters, which kept us warm throughout the rare Florida cold fronts we were having. Overall, a great experience! read more

About two hours later, I was woken up by a manager banging on my window like law enforcement, telling me that "prolonged parking" isn't allowed. What made this frustrating is that RVs and other vehicles are routinely allowed to park overnight, so enforcement feels selective rather than policy-based. I wasn't blocking traffic, causing issues, or bothering anyone -- just resting in a safe, responsible way. I still recall the first time that I visited this location. It was in 2021 and my neighbor had told me about this place. I decided to visit this location to see what the hype was about. My first reaction to pulling into the parking lot was awesome. I have never seen so many gas pumps in one location. You definitely don't have to wait in line if you gave to get gas. The same goes if you're looking to purchase ice as well. I didn't know was inside. Once I went inside I didn't know where to begin looking at. This place is like a small grocery store and department store in one. I decided to browse their merchandise section first. They have so many Buc-ees branded items to choose from. After that I decided to head over to the sandwich station. I decided to get their brisket sandwich. That sandwich was excellent. To drink I decided to try out their various selections of sodas. There are so many choices to choose from. I just decided to mix two sodas together. To my surprise it was delicious and refreshing as well. Then after that I decided to browse their two walls of various jerky selections. I decided to go with their beef teriyaki jerky. I couldn't wait to get in the car and try it out. I also got chips to go with that excellent brisket sandwich. I was also craving something sweet, so I decided to get that mini brick of chocolate filled with peanut butter. It's definitely a shareable item. My roommate decided to get a brisket sandwich as well. But, instead of chips, he got those habanero cheese puffs. We stopped at Buc-ee's in St. Augustine -- classic Buc-ee's through and through, though not quite as expansive as the Daytona Beach location. They were in the process of installing the fresh tortilla station, but it wasn't up and running yet during our visit. Hopefully next time! I grabbed a sliced brisket sandwich, which was flavorful and satisfying, although like most Buc-ee's sandwiches, a bit messy to eat -- especially in the car, since there's no designated seating area. That's one of my only real complaints -- it would be great if they added some kind of eating space. We also picked up some chocolate-covered caramels, which were delicious, and grabbed a soft drink. Buc-ee's always shines when it comes to drink options -- their selection is massive, offering virtually every flavor and type you can imagine. However, we noticed that Coca-Cola products had been replaced by Buc-ee's branded soft drinks on our most recent visit. They're fine, but we missed the name-brand options. Of course, we never leave without using the restrooms -- they're exactly as Buc-ee's claims: immaculately clean. One of their signs cleverly says the restrooms are the "#1 and #2 reasons to stop," and we wouldn't argue with that. We also filled up at the pump, which is super convenient with their large number of gas stations. That said, navigating the gas area can be a little frustrating -- many customers leave their cars at the pumps and head inside, making it hard to find a spot or exit. Some clear signage reminding people not to leave vehicles unattended would really help. All in all, it's still a great stop -- reliable, fun, and full of everything you didn't know you needed. When O walked inside I was bummed to see that it had a small wall lined with a few Buc-Ee's nuts and jerky. The place itself was a disaster. Fast forward a few years...probably 10 - and I was driving to FloriDUH and drove by a few HUGE Buc-Ee's so I stopped for gas and declared des yo go inside! WOW!!! It was amazing. I bought some jerky, some pecans, a double meat BBQ BEEF sandwich that I could eat everyday. EVERYDAY!! The service was very nice. Everyone greeted us. The value was on point! It was all perfect. Right off of Interstate 95. 1st of all, this location is packed Every time we pass by. Not just for gas but also for shopping and super clean restrooms. The hospitality of the staff is underrated. Just friendly people all around. Back to this chicken sandwich. $6.99 and worth it. Huge portion of pipping hot fried chicken served on a brioche roll. Some type of special sauce. I added mayo to mine before I noticed the sauce. It blended well with a little salt and pepper. The sandwich is large enough that I ate 3 portions off of it. Hubby found us a couple of cold drinks. Let's not forget all the sweets and caramelized candies and nuts. You can get caught up in this section. There's truly something for everyone here. Worked in Palm Coast today; on the way home, I stopped at Bucee's at the World Golf Village exit. ALWAYS A PLEASURE!! This place is AMAZINGLY CLEAN!! The BEST BATHROOMS - ANYWHERE!! I could not leave without grabbing one of the most mouthwatering sandwiches around! - the basic Brisket sandwich!! One of the BEST values around!! This is the third Buc-ee's we have been to. We have been to the one Daytona Beach, & the one in Georgia almost to the Florida border. We know we will have fun walking around here. There's so much here from clothes for the whole family including the dog, house decor, toys, toiletrees, food, snacks, bbq sandwiches, bakery items, snacks, drinks. They have it all, plus the gas and car wash outside. If anything they do need tables to eat outside which they don't. The bathrooms weren't that clean. The occupied indicators didn't work right (same experience in Georgia; I also have a review of the Buc-ee's in Brunswick, Georgia). One of the paper towel dispensers wasn't working. But at least the water was a normal temperature, unlike the too-hot faucets in Georgia. I didn't see prices for the fresh foods here. The vanilla creme soda (¢89 for a small) was a disappointment: not up to the level of cream sodas I've tasted in the past. The sliced barbecue brisket sandwich ($8.49) was pretty good, but I didn't love it like the first time I had it. My wife loved it as much as the first time, however. It was better than the Carolina pulled pork ($6.99), we thought, though that was pleasant. The peach cobbler ($2.99) was decent, but not as good as I'd hoped. So I was disappointed with the food this time. We spent $20.62 for the four items . Future foods to maybe try, besides repeating the brisket: I've read that the pastrami reuben is good, but I didn't see it in either location I've been to. The Kolache is only available mornings; especially jalapeno cheddar (with sausage; heat it). Maybe try the pecan pie (only saw some pecan bars 9/25). I watch a lot of food and travel videos on YouTube. Influencers are always talking about Buc-ee's and I was so excited to have a chance to visit one. Right now I think the closest location to Baltimore is in Florence, NC. We drove past that one before I realized that we were south enough to start finding them. It was an overwhelming experience. We didn't bother to explore half the store, as we're already running out of money, and we haven't even made it to Orlando yet. We chose to focus on the food and the brisket, of course. How can you not taste the brisket? They loudly announce when it's fresh from the cooker and hitting the carving board. Same when they sauce it. Pulled pork gets a call and response, too, so I had to get some of that. The breakfast egg and brisket wrap/burrito was awful. The brisket was good; big tender chunks, but the eggs were super soft, mushy, and wet enough to turn the tortilla into a soggy mess. I couldn't even entice a local crane to take it off my hands. The brisket sandwich made us declare we would return to Buc-ee's just to get another one, or four. The three meat sandwich surprised me. In the past, turkey on a combo sandwich of any kind has been dry and tasteless. But this turkey is thickly cut, moist, and well seasoned. The sausage was also nicely cut, but still kept its snap. And then more brisket. Wonderful brisket. Oddly enough the cheesesteak wrap was really good. Great onion flavor. The selection of strange soda flavors was like a mecca to me. I got blue coconut!!
