I started coming to Bubbles in Olney for weekly blowouts 6 years ago! My first experience was absolutely fantastic. Jamie the receptionist made sure to set me up with a stylist who was best for me and my hair type. I have curly hair and very thick. I am very particular about my blowouts. Jamie said Martha will take wonderful care of you and she definitely did!!!! My first day in, everyone greeted me as I walked in. Everyone is so warm and welcoming. Martha walked up and introduced herself to me and took my jacket. She talked to me about how I like my hair to look. Martha is so knowledgeable and so sweet. She gave me the best hair wash and scalp massage!!! I could have sat in her chair all day!!! she made sure I was comfortable at all time. Martha took her time to make sure she blew out my hair exactly as I was asking for. After my first blow out- I was so impressed!!! My hair looked absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!! The perfect blow out! Martha is super knowledgeable, pays attention to every detail and is all around one of the best hair stylist I have ever been too! I have now been coming to Bubbles to see Martha every week for my blow out since 2020. She also takes care of all my hair care needs. She colors my hair, cuts blow drys and she even does my eyebrows. My one stop shop. Martha is so knowledgeable with color and all the products she uses on my hair. she explains everything in detail and I'm always over the moon happy with my results. Martha and Bubbles Salon are by far always the best experience. They are so accommodating... you really can't ask for more. My experience with BUBBLES in Olney was fantastic! After numerous trials at other salons, I went into this salon with some fear. It did not take long for me to realize that this place was different. My stylist, Jessica listened as I told her what I hoped for with my cut and color. Let me say she was wonderful from the start. First was my color, beautiful! Ladies this is really nice.....before they rinse the color out, they dip your hands in wax!!!! The wax stays on your hands while they shampoo your hair! This is complimentary and it is wonderful! Your hands feel so soft afterwards. This alone would be worth the trip but let me tell you, this salon is incredibly clean and the hair products they use not only do magnificent things to your hair, but delight the senses as well. I highly recommend this salon. My hair looks fabulous and the entire experience at BUBBLES Olney, is like taking a mini vacation. I will go nowhere else since finding this place. read more

The worst part about a bad haircut is you can't get it back. I am stuck with a version of myself I do not identify with and the guilt is on me for going to this place. Carolyn cut my hair and I asked her to cut the sides and back.She insisted she cut the top which was exactly what I didn't want. I like it long. Maybe it's weird but it is who I am. She brushed off any conversation I tried to have and rushed the cut. Some parts in the back were longer than other parts so I cut it myself when I got home. They were impersonal and quick to take my money. Maybe this place only caters toward women. I normally pay $75 for a haircut in Bethesda, but haven't been thrilled with my last two cuts, so I decided to try something closer to home. I explained I didn't want to take a lot of the length off, since I'm trying to grow it out, but would like to add some long, flowy layers. Jen was wonderful, she listened to every word! She even showed me how much of the length she was trimming to ease my fears. I purchased a product with her help, which I rarely do, that goes to show how much I trusted her opinion. Liberty is kind and professional with her cuts. She is conversational and friendly, but it doesn't distract her from quality. At some salons I felt pressured to go with whatever my stylist wanted, but Liberty always makes sure my haircut is what I want and still looks good.
