I'm not sure why this store was Different on our visit. Deeply disappointing and frustrating. I had lots of ideas and questions so I asked the 2 young ladies but they completely disregarded me and continued talking even when I said Excuse me and they just ignored me. I Hope they DONT work on commission, or Maybe they just make a salary and Do Not Care about customers or any kinds of Customer Service. My mind honestly was blown away. If I acted like this, I wouldn't have a job. I went further inside the store and stood in line at the register and the bubbly and kind Asian cashier answered my questions about anti aging and about their enchanted Eye cream! Half of my battle was done and so when I asked her to point me towards that area of this Wonderful enchanted Eye Cream, she did not respond with directions. She walked away to her associates who ignored me and then told me she was Off the clock and the girl who previously ignored me attempted to help me. Why was she blowing me off when she just Could have said pointed me in the direction of the cream instead of passing me off to someone who Clearly Did Not want to Help me. I'm so aggravated when I just wanted to buy gifts for someone who I love. I'm amazed that anyone is allowed to Treat customers or any other person like this. We WONT be back. Ever. I hope they can at least are train their workers. They may need a new job where they Do NOT EVER work with People. I can understand if it was a Ghetto-Hood-Rat place, but there are some really nice and high end stores. It's a pity that their associates have no clue how to demonstrate "Customer Service". I also see many great reviews but the 4&5 Star reviews show purchasing online or shopping self serve and not needing any associates Help.

I appreciate that I never feel pressured by the staff to buy anything and always feel that they are able to answer any questions I may have. I do find the price point a bit high so I end up sticking with companies like Bath and Body Works for my day to day purchases even though I'd prefer the products here. It'd be nice if they had a weekly sale or at least it seems I never pop in when there's a sale. While I don't mind letting my husband steal some of my philosophy products from Sephora I don't want him using up half of one of my face washes in one fell swoop! Portions are small and prices are high - so plan accordingly to what's worth the bang for your buck :-) With names like chocolate cupcake for face masks, you may want to have a bite to eat before popping in or you're tummy will be growling in no time at all! They are an indigenous-owned business. I received their Cedar Balsam candle as a gift from my sister-in-law and it smells divine! It's a natural woody scent that makes me feel close to nature. It's made of soy wax, is non-GMO and the wick is made of unbleached cotton. The candle was part of a personally curated gift box that contained my sister-in-law's "Favourite Things." Well, guess what? Mother Earth Essentials' Cedar Balsam candle is now one of MY favourite things too, lol.

They have a really unique and important mission statement which sets them apart from other similar businesses. As for their products, I loved pretty much everything in their store. You can view their entire collection online. I particularly love their soaps. They have a wide range that appeals to many people. I love the Wild Mint & Sage. They also sell a line of healing teas, but I looked mostly at the skin products. And all their prices are completely competitive (if not a bit cheaper) than other companies selling similar products. And as far as I could see, they really are 100% natural. Companies like LUSH still use chemicals like Sodium-Laureth-Sulfate which are known to disrupt hormones & possibly cause cancer. I went in and saw the product and was approached immediately. It was great the the associate provided me with information that was consistent with the information that I read online. She made suggestions about how to use the product and showed me other products in the line without being pushy to try to get me to buy more and items that I may not need. Having used the hand cream recently, I also asked about it and she showed me the cream and gave me information about it. There were products in the men's line that she also showed me and knowledgeable about how and when to use them. I liked that her and another associate spoke about the products having used them or her boyfriend having used them. In addition to the purchase, they are generous to offer and provide samples. Even if they don't have packets, they make samples in little containers to take home and try. I was give quite a few samples. I've been using my dark spot solution for about a week now and I haven't noticed much difference yet but hopefully the dark spots will diminish. They were having a promotion where every $30 spent would get a coupon for $15 off purchases in the next few weeks. I ended up with 3 of these cards and they can't be used at once and on a minimum purchase of $30 so I will be back and pick up a few more items.

I don't know why - I am a beauty and skincare product junkie. So yeah, $25 is more than you'll pay at Shoppers for a face wash, but this stuff is the shizz. I've given in and ponied up for the face wash, moisturizer, overnight cream, toner, and more. But it's WORTH IT. Regardless of how awesome the products are, I just need to shout out the staff here. They are geniuses. Because Kiehl's doesn't just have one face wash, they have like, twelve. But these guys and gals know which one is right for you. And then they'll write it down on a card for you and store it in the system so you always know which products to get next time you come back.
