Honestly, I do not know how anyone could give this place anything but five stars. If you are expecting more than hotdogs & champagne, then you missed the point. My boyfriend & I were on vacation in London and a friend recommended Bubbledogs to us. We were in our element. The hot dog topping options range from generic to daring, so there is something for everyone and I recommend something fun! The champagne list isn't extensive, but had just the right amount of options, in my opinion. The decor is very trendy and the overall atmosphere is awesome. I highly recommend this restaurant for a cheap, but fun experience.

3.5 stars Instead of the traditional pubs nearby we came here. Little did I know people have waited nearly an hour to get into this 30-person capacity bar. The concept wasn't so clear to me because I couldn't read the neon sign outside. "Bubbledogs." It's not as laid back or roomy as a pub, but we were able to have a drink, a bite (mandatory) and a fairly comfortably chat. Instead of the bubbles (aka Champagne) we had beer from the small 4 choice list. These were mostly local brews, like Pressure Drop. We did get some dogs, but it took a minute to understand the concept. My buffalo (pork) dog came loaded with the classic buffalo sauce: tangy, spicy. Added was blue cheese cubes and onion. Pretty tasty and not too salty. We shared the sweet potato fries. These seem to be a new introduction to London, yet you'll see see them in every self-respecting burger and gastro pub in Los Angeles. I Washed it down with that Pressure Drop beer. Despite it being cramped, I liked this place for its vibe and for bringing champagne down from its lux podium. Perfect for after work with a couple of people. The selection of dogs is better than some, but there's still no "healthy" meat, like chicken, although there is a vegetarian dog. I hear in the rear of this place is a fine dining restaurant which requires reservations. In L.A. The hotdog craze was probably kicked off by Wurtkusche in the Arts District. It has very exotic meat dogs, but served in a regular way as the flavour is in dog, not the toppings. It also serves up beers, not bubbles.

Blt hotdog, Horny Dog

This is such a cool concept of champagne and hot dogs! I had the blt hot dog with rose champagne and the horny devils (I think that's what they were called?). The flavors of the hot dog were perfectly balanced and the actual dog itself had a nice crisp snap to it. The crunchy bacon bits on top really pended to the texture. The horny devils were spicy corn fritters, and they were also a welcome accompaniment to the champagne. Being a solo diner I also appreciated that there was a good selection of champagnes by the glads

Good selection of bubblies and dogs. but my favorite is the TOTS. I watched the golden crispy goodness arriving at my table. It was love at first bite, the shell was crisp yet not overly greasy, the inside was freshly shredded potato that was just in the right thickness and consistency. I might've had dreams about it last night. oh wait I did. I need more tots!!! So I'm definitely a fan. The only reason for this 3 star is that I wish it had a bit more variety for food. like mini-dog-samplers, turkey dog, and carb-free dog. But yes I'll definitely go back soon!!

Horny (veggie) dog!

It's hard to find a sit-down restaurant that will serve tater tots, let alone tots and champagne. This certainly satisfies that craving. As a vegetarian, I certainly appreciate that almost everything on the can be veggie! I got the corndog, aka "horny dog" and although it's not like the American version I know, it was great. The batter was a cross between pancakes and hush puppies. I really appreciated the wait system, too. We put down our names and went to a wine bar, and when we got a text that our table was ready, we simply texted back and asked if we could push it back an hour. We received a call back and said it wouldn't be an issue. So easy!!

Somewhat pricey for a hot dog, but definitely not bad. It gets pretty packed during lunch-hours so come early! They have a pretty decent selection of bubbly as well as an array of unique toppings for their dogs. I ordered the tater tots as well as the sweet potato fries - definitely recommend both! But if you're choosing one, it's the sweet potato fries all the way! My dog was the 'fourth of july' - mmm cole slaw and bbq sauce, you can't go wrong with that. I also ordered a glass of the blanc de blanc which was obviously yum. I would come back but I feel that as it's really more of a novelty experience I'd only come back if my guests had never been.

What do you get when you mix delicate French champagne and American hotdogs? Bubbledogs. It's such a weird and wonderful combination that I'm still unsure of whether I love them together or separately. I enjoyed the Josè hotdog with tomato salsa, avocado, sour cream and picked jalapeños. It was fresh, light and slightly healthy. The sweet potato fries are also a good extra to nibble on. There is also a 14 course degastation which can be booked up to the three months in advance. You won't find any mass market champers brands. Bubbledogs prides themselves on offering individual small producers who grow and make their own product. There are 4-5 types of champers by the glass ranging from £6.50 -16 as well as a range of bottles available. If the bubbles are too much, there are beers, spirits and cocktails. If you want to avoid the wait, head in before 7pm or get a reservation. The space is long and thin with small tables good for 4 or 6 at a squeeze along the side. I'm definitely a fan!

Mac Daddy dog with sweet potato fries

To say I traveled across an ocean for this place would not entirely be a lie. I put this place on my itinerary as soon as my friends and I booked our tickets for spring break in London (not entirely the typical spring break destination but worth it!). As someone who spent much of her freshman year of college running on the joke that she was dating a hot dog (and thus consuming MANY hotdogs), this place was a must! The service was very impressive, though t was a bit slow (in the restaurant not with regards to service) so I can't attest to how they are when busy! I ordered the Mac Daddy dog with a side of sweet potato fries, which happen to be another love near and dear to my heart. Let's talk dogs first though: the hot dog was amazing especially with the mac and cheese which had just the right consistency to our with a hot dog but not overpower it (I'm aware I'm speaking on a hot dog but it really is an art form if you do it right). The sweet potato fries were good, a little bland, but I have Cajun taste from my family in Louisiana so I can't blame them for not being able to meet my standards. I'm sorry to say that I cannot tell you what I drank, I think maybe proseco of some sort. I was an American on spring break after all they do start to blend! But I would recommend this place to anyone and I will be returning to London and back to this restaurant again, hopefully soon!

The epic combo of an incredible Champagne list from Sandia Chang and ultimate #foodporn hotdogs from her husband James!! I absolutely love this place! I have only been here once so far after having a few too many cocktails and looking for some scrumptious food to fill the belly! I had the Reuben beef Hot dog(with sauerkraut, Russian Dressing and melted swiss cheese £7) and sweet potato fries (£3.50). I can honestly say this is the best hot dog I have ever had, definitely trumps any of the trendy burger chains too... Plus the "sweet potato" fries & champagne combo make you feel like you are being healthy & classy at the same time as eating a hotdog haha. :) Really chillaxed quirky venue with cute features like the collage on the bathroom walls of restaurant menus that Sandia & James have dined at. Great place to start the night (or end it) in Fitzrovia, London P.s I here the "Kitchen Table" hidden through the back of Bubbledogs has a highly recommended tasting menu that I am still to try..

This is truly a restaurant you visit so you can tell people about it. We went on a Saturday morning, as we didn't feel like queuing and didn't had enough people for a reservation ... you will need six ... just so you know. The restaurant has a nice urban chic feel to it and the waiters are very nicely dressed in uniform and very attentive. The menu is simple and well designed. The champagne is expensive, but hey it's champagne and we did not complain about the champagne. But ... I don't think I will go again. Yes, the champagne was nice and the atmosphere was great, but the combination of champagne with ordinary hot dog did not work for me. The hot dogs are really the usual, rather small sausage in a bun ... and they come in a plastic basket. "Why not? That's the way to serve a hot dog!" I hear you say ... but ... it's so out of character for the place they created. I think they should have gone all the way with the kitsch and the retro dinner idea ... then add the champagne. Instead they went with the champagne bar concept ... and then added fat and greasy (overprized) food. Anyway the hot dogs were nice, but I could have eaten three of them, plus sides. It's a novelty for sure and in the future I can say: "Do you remember? A few years back they had this strange champagne bar thing with the hot dogs?! That was quite something."

4th of July + Fernando hotdogs on the bottom with champagne and tots

Let's be real. The reason why we go here is because they put champagne with hotdogs which is a fancy [read: weird] combo. While the service is good, the food isn't anything to write a review about. I tried 2 hotdogs and neither were terribly great. Fortunately, the tarter tots were amazing. Luckily there wasn't a line to get in when I arrived or I would have been mad at myself for waiting. Skip this place. There are much better places in the city to eat. If you still choose to go here skip the hotdogs and order champagne and tots. That's still just as fancy right? lol

Skip the hot dogs and go straight for the tater tots.

I am so lost. Champagne and hot dogs? Unique concept, but I don't really see the appeal. Came here late-ish on a Friday with a friend, and we were lucky that the queue was only half an hour. Lining up for hot dogs is not a new thing for me, as I used to live in the hot dog crazy city of Chicago. I see what they're trying to do with all the unique hot dog flavors (Hot Doug's in Chicago, Crif Dog in NY), but I wasn't a big fan of the ones I tried. I think having the customer choose between a pork/beef wiener may seem like an advantage, but sometimes choice is not good. I think the restaurant should decide which wiener goes better with whichever combination. I do have to say though that I'm happy I found a place in London that does corn dogs. While not the greatest corn dog ever, it was still pretty great. The tater tots. The tater tots here are amazing. Our server said they had to specially source the tater tots. All they need to do is offer neon molten cheese to dip the tater tots in. I would come back, skip the hot dogs and get my fill on tots.

Chippy!

Besides the inventive food and lovely cocktails (or bubbles, if that's your thing), the service was incredible! It was our final evening in London after spending 3 weeks touring around the English countryside and the staff gave us an amazing experience. Thank you, Bubbledogs :)

We ordered chips (fries) with Parmesan & beef fat mayo, a cheese platter, the strawberries dessert with two glasses of brut and cappuccinos. The cheese platter was tasty, nothing out of this world, but definitely a good cheese platter with onion preserves, four different cheeses, candied walnuts, dried fig and yummy crackers. The chips were very tasty, and the dessert was fabulous. The dessert tray had fresh strawberries, delicious butter cookies, meringue pieces and dips that included chocolate ganache, chantilly creme, lemon curd, and a pink chocolate. We all agreed that the pink chocolate wasn't very good and the strawberries were tasty but certainly not the best we've ever had. The portions are meant to be shared, and we all left not needing anything else to eat. The whole experience was very fun and indulgent. The noise (piano player and guests) in the Tea Rooms next door, overpowers the music in the Champagne Terrace. Then, the manager (an older gentleman) chewed the waitress/hostess out in Italian in front of the guests which was inappropriate and unprofessional. She had been lovely and did not deserve to be treated so disrespectfully. The food menu is nice and was delivered quickly. The chocolate and sea salt caramel tart is fabulous. The food that I ordered was fresh and well-prepared. I felt, however, the entire experience was way-overpriced for what you received. It was nice, however, to sit in the sun and get away from the hustle and bustle of a crowded Harrods store but the ambience isn't soothing and relaxing. www.harrods.com

Bonus points for the fact that they had cigars on the menu and an outdoor balcony, which immediately got my attention as a cigar aficionado.
