My first time there I took the first washer, entered my stuff, and then heard the door clicking as if locking automatically (), I was puzzled but then proceeded to add the credits to start the cycle and the machine simply added it and started when I pressed the button. The machines at other laundries do NOT start if the door is not latched, this one did. So I was thinking maybe these doors were automatic, until I noticed all the water coming down onto the floor, I was wondering what the heck was going on, when the attendant came rushing cursing me in Spanish (esta cabrona, no mames, no cerró la puerta la pendeja campesina esta), latched the door aggressively and then went for some towels to dry the floor. It was alright, not the way to correct a behavior but I decided to give them another chance because: duh, silly me, right? My second time there, there were no seats available so I stood in front of the washer I was using. Another person doing laundry came with a cart and started filling the machine on the right next to the one I was using, while her cart was pushing me aside to take the space I was using in front of the machine I took, the first time I looked at her and guessed she didn't notice, maybe too distracted on her stuff. Only to have her again at the same machine a second time filling it up and pulling the cart right by my face (the cart that has a long pole to hang clothes), to which I had to step out of the machine space onto the one on the left. By now I'm a little aggravated. For the third time, the same person came with the cart to fill the machine on the left to the one I was using only to do the same $#!, pulling the cart not asking for permission, and when moving away hitting me on the arm with it, as if I am the one in the way disturbing the peace . Not a single time she said "excuse me" to let me make space for her, nor "sorry" for bumping onto me. There is no wait area in the place that is not filled with elderly seating or people fixing and organizing their clothes, and is a constant passing of people with carts that move as if you're the one in the way and should move somewhere else. The space is big enough, yet the clothing area is always full, the seatings are always full, the hallway is too narrow and everyone behaves very impolite. Other places that are much more uncomfortable have staff and customers that behave better.

It has been a long time since I have wash clothes by machine and have to re-learn what is forgotten. eHow. com is a good resource as I have mastered this important life skill. Washing instructions on the Wascomat machines are very clear and easy to follow for 30 minutes running time per load. I am not a "laundry virgin" now!! There are fifty (50) Huebsch fully functionimg dryers available. Five quarters for 40 minutes of drying time was sufficient for one week of one person's laundry. Ahh... laundry on a Sunday afternoon when I can sway with either a nap or restfully eating chocolate chip cookies. Children running a mok. Laundry baskets are available to transfer from washer to dryer. I prefer my own mesh pop-up hamper and I can finally use my own lingerie mesh wash bags to prevent sock loss. Seating is very minimal as one waits. Tables are available for folding but I prefer to fold in my home. Drop-off services are available for the "too busy" or lazy buddies. The question lies: Do you want a complete stranger touching your clothes and/or under garments? Do you want to risk loosing your bra, sock or small accessory clothing item (i.e. like the lost mitten and lost sock in the children's book "Smitten" by David Gordon?) Hours are very convenient for customers who work late like myself. Staff are not attentive nor courteous- ergo three stars. Cash only in the form of quarters. No laundry cards that are re-loadable.

The last time was around 6am and I have to say that's really the best time to come here. It's empty at that point and the attendant is usually cleaning at that time and you have your pick of baskets, washers and dryers. No mad scramble for a cart or a machine and that's just how I like it. I do wish that the machines also took coins along with it's current feature of taking the laundry card just because I have loads of coins on me - usually enough to do laundry - and I can't actually add it to the laundry card without turning it into a paper bill first. The laundry card machine takes bills and card. I've only ever used cash because I don't trust it with my card info. You never know where a skimmer may be lurking. All in all, if you're looking for a 24 hour laundromat to wash your linens or clothes, come here. You shouldn't be disappointed.

This is a newly remodeled laundromat. It was has changed ownership twice since I've moved to the…read moreneighborhood. You can buy snacks, drinks and phone cards, etc here. So they offer more than just wash and fold services and dry cleaning. Dry cleaning is not done on premises. Rather than probably contract out to a dry cleaning facility as most laundromats tend to do. The machines are brand new and offer additional wash and rinse as options prior to starting the wash cycle. They are efficient and rinse so well my clothes were already practically dry upon being removed to the dryer. The Asian man at the counter is quite nice and accommodating and I will probably return here again. It doesn't hurt that it is literally feet from my home. So I don't have to carry the laundry further than necessary. Give them a shot.

I do have one issue I encountered this weekend. I did a drop off and had them wash my clothes. When I picked my clothes up one of my bags had wet detergent all over it...now that's unacceptable. They had my cat's bed outside of plastic and this detergent got all over my cats bed as if she doesn't deserve a dry, clean bed smh and I had to re-wash the bed! By the way did I tell you it was still wet and had detergent all over it? The second pic is after re-washing after here washed and I didn't even add soap! There was so much soap in that wash. Now I've done 1 drop off before so maybe this was just a one off. The staff needs to make sure any surface they're placing our clean clothes we paid to get clean, is dry and clean before putting out bags on it. The lady upfront was kind, my issue isn't with her, she might not even been the person they placed the bag (she's older and I doubt she did) but I should've gotten some money back or something. I didn't ask her because I figured you know what, I'll re-wash it smh spend more money I shouldn't have to spend and time I didn't have...that's why I got these washed. So please make sure your employees are mindful of my situation when they are washing and placing people laundry they pay for to be cleaned. Thanks
