You know a place is good when the line is long all the time. Even though the bubble waffle doesn't seem to be too fresh, the middle was still soft. The milk tea is really well made and taste is on point. All the drinks are really affordable too. Definitely recommend ^^ read more

We come out to Vancouver at least 2-3 times a year to visit with family, and one stop we make like clock work is to the Aberdeen Centre food court...Bubble Waffle is a must! The eggies/bubble waffles are definitely one of the best we've had, but be prepared to wait a little bit as it's a very popular place. read more

Too slow just for bubble waffles! They were good but not worth the ridiculous 20-minute wait. They should have some ready-made ones for when it gets crazy busy. read more

Literally trash. They gave me a bubble waffle (which is always made from scratch) quicker than they gave me my change. It's undercooked and tastes like coagulated dough. It was barely warm. I've never seen a place screw up bubble waffle, a basic staple, this badly, especially if this is their name. No wonder they only charge $1 if you buy a noodle soup. read more

Really enjoyed their build your own noodle soup option! You select your broth, noodles, and toppings and get a large piping hot bowl of soup for ~$7-8. I had the thick noodles with Szechuan broth, beef, and cheese balls. It was super yummy until I bit into a full size Szechuan peppercorn which - for those not familiar- will leave your mouth numb for hours. Not a pleasant way to end my meal, but I'd order here again and just get the regular spicy broth. read more

Our family's go to for some cheap semi authetic hong kong street food. The price is reasonable and the food is not bad for a fast food joint. The only problem is this place always has a long lineup so be prepared to wait for your order. read more

Bubble waffles are perfect with a crispy outside and soft, light, eggy dough on the inside. They have interesting flavors such as green tea, Oreo, sesame, and cheesecake. I got the black sesame and it gave the bubble waffle a nice fragrant, nutty flavor. My friend has the green tea which was very yummy if you're a matcha fan. The original is always a good go to as well. Eat it while it's still warm as the dough becomes more chewy as it cools. Drinks are only $2 hot or cold. My cold almond drink still had bits of powder in it that wasn't mixed in very well. read more

One of my frequent places. For around $10, you get large bowl of noodles, large drink and a Hong Kong style bubble waffle dessert! Always busy and needs to wait sometimes. Order online and get 10% off and faster service. read more

I came to Aberdeen Mall to have tea with a girlfriend and we did some browsing in the mall. This was one of the stores that we visited. Like waffles...but in bubble shape. It's not about the taste as it tastes like a waffle but about the shape novelty. It was still fun to eat none the less. Shared between my GF and I. For some reason for 1 waffle it took more than 10 minutes and it wasn't even busy. read more

This is the first I've been too and the one I've frequented. Their customizable noodles are generally great (better than average food court quality), with good deals if you combine it with drinks (great too) and bubble waffles (also great). read more

Bubble Waffle Cafe. You can never go wrong. So many different customization that you can have a different combo and flavour everytime. This location is very busy and the wait is a bit longer than the Lansdowne location, but it is the original Bubble Waffle location and I love strolling around the mall while waiting for my order to come by so its still deserving of 4 stars. read more

For only $6 you can have a bowl of noodles and bubble waffles!! The noodles you can choose and fill out this form like deer garden which speeds things up a lot. But sometimes the line up for this place is crazy. The bubble waffle you can add to your noodles for only $1 and it's worth it! It's so good and tasty. :)) read more

Located inside Aberdeen center. We only tried their bubble waffle and was not impressed. It was crunchy on the inside but not chewy on the inside. I prefer bubble waffle inside Parker Place! read more

Great place for a snack. Gai dan jai (egg/bubble waffles) were perfectly crispy on the outside, light, with just enough chewy goodness on the inside. It took a few min to make them fresh but it was totally worth it. It's super cheap too. read more

I will be reminiscing about these bubble waffles for a long time. Even though we only spent 2 and a half days in Vancouver, we came here twice. Each waffle is $3.75, or you can get 2 for $6. The waffles had just the right amount of sweetness and the perfect texture. There are definitely no places in California that make these waffles this well. Their iced HK style milk tea was also pretty good, since it wasn't too sweet and had a strong tea flavor. They had a $7.95 combo (noodle soup w/ 2 toppings, waffle, and drink) that seemed like a pretty good deal, which I unfortunately didn't get a chance to try. Service was perfectly fine, and they still accepted my credit card when I only ordered one waffle, which is super convenient for American tourists who don't have Canadian cash. Will definitely return if I'm ever in Vancouver again! read more

I chose this place because this place has the longest line in a busy food court, which clearly says something. Indeed, the soup is delicious with decent portion. If you come to visit Aberdeen Mall, you surely do not want to miss it. read more

Haven't tried their food, but their bubble waffles are the bomb! We enjoyed the chocolate and sesame ones. Way better than the night market ones. Expect a long wait... best to place your order and then go get whatever else you're eating, because it will be a while. read more

Best hongkong style milk tea in town (the tea base is just perfect!), the bubble waffle is done just right - with rich taste, right crispness (though a bit pricey, unless as an add-on with just $1 with the order of noodles/rice). Definitely will come back, a lot of times!!!! read more

One of my all time favourite bubble waffle locations! They have an amazing Hong Kong style milk tea with a variety of flavours of bubble waffles (chocolate, black sesame, green tea and, original). Besides the snacks and drinks, they offer a noodle soup combination and other meal dishes that can satisfy your taste buds. A real gem in the Aberdeen food court. read more

Oh my god, I got food from this place to go but when I took a bite at home... It had a hair in it! I actually puked! I had a hair in my mouth! Please do not buy food from here, this is so gross! read more

Sorry waffle lovers this place was medicore. Waffles sit for a while and are not made fresh since the line is so long. Noodles were ok. Not a fan of spicy peppercorn. The HK egg and noodle roll appetizer was cold, and noodles were hard. Not worth the wait. read more

The bubble waffle and iced lemonade is so good. I had the original and sesame and they were delicious. I took one star off because it is expensive. We spend about $40 USD just on bubble waffle and drinks. =/ read more

Went here for lunch on a weekday and line up was long. Order noodle soup combo with drink $8 and added a dollar for the bubble waffle. Noodle soup and drinks were fine. Is a good deal but the bubble waffle is not fresh, but still good to eat. The cheesy noodle was ok. Good deal but don't expect much quality. read more

I always visit this place when I visit Vancouver! It is my go to for delicious snacks like "gai dan zai" (bubble waffles) and curry fish balls :) they have a wide variety of yummy drinks too! read more

The bubble waffle was perfectly crispy and chewy! It was perfectly paired with a HK iced milk tea! The tea was strong but not bitter - it was perfectly balanced with the milk. Great afternoon snack combo after walking around Daiso for hours ;) read more

I was in the mall with my family and we decided to have some food from the food court here and guess what it was bad !! I ordered beef noodles first of all there is no beef it was literally two pieces of fat with some corns on the top small portion I could pay the same money and have a good meal somewhere else in addition to that the people who work there so rude the way the treat you no respect and they are not patient not nice!! I don't recommend it at all ! read more

Got an original bubble waffle for afternoon tea just to cure my homesick . The fillings of the bubble waffle is too sticky for me, where it supposed to be chewy. I would say this is not the best place for bubble waffle in metro Vancouver. read more

I like the original bubble waffle here. You have to be patient to go here and you have to get past the really confusing line with people congregating in circular packs. read more

Good value! Love the online ordering system so I don't have to wait there for my order. Noodles are always delicious and can be customized. With a noodle/drink combo you can add a bubble waffle for $1 only. So cheap! If you're looking for a quick and cheap meal, this is a good place. read more

three years later, the quality of the soup and ingredients went down one point rating. soup base is more oily now, more choices for ingredients but less quality, price goes up to $5.95, bubble waffle is still $1 if ordered at same time. Despite downgrade, still the better place compared to other in the same food court for similar menu. read more

I won't recomanded this place . The red bean grass jelly taste terrible and its over pricy fur such low quality drink

We have ate here many times for a simple, quick, and very frankly, an economical meal. I just realized that they have once again increase their price by another dollar. It may not sound like a lot, but a dollar hike from a $7.5 meal, that's a 13.3% increase. And this is the second or third time they have increase their price in the past SIX months! They always used the same order sheet so the change is unnoticeable. When we asked if they have change their price, they avoided our question. So watch out for that bill guys! P.s. The portion is also getting smaller... read more

I ordered a meal online and when i went to pay for it the cashier gave me the wrong change. The meal was $7.40 and i gave her $20.40. She gave me no change and i had to ask where is my 13 dollar changed? The cashier said, "oh, i need to ask my manager to look through the security camera?" Her tone made it seem like i was trying to rob their store, which ironically they were trying to rip me off. If someone was as dense and had a short term memory, this would be your person. After waiting for about 20 minutes, the cashier apologized and compensated me with a waffle. Their compensation was not worth the wait or the attitude by treating their customer like a criminal. Really? Need to check the security camera when i handed you my cash like 2 minutes ago? I would not recommend anyone going to their restaurant. Horrible customer service. read more

I wouldn't want to come here again !! They got the worst customer service attitude . They handed me a $10 bill that is fake I asked for a new one and this women started to argue with me about how it is just a old $10 bill not the new ones . I told them that if this were to be a older $10 bill this would of been wrinkly and the bank wouldn't carry the old ones no more . But they still argued with me saying it's real . I got fed up and I told them to check it themselves !! The $10 bill doesn't have a shiny strip on the side and it didn't have the bumps the 10 sign was really dark and the feeling of the bill was very thick compared to a real fresh bill !! Then when I was waiting for my food they started to talk shit about me every worker there was staring at me and the cashier there was just rolling her eyes . All just because they don't want to be wrong !! What kind of a customer service is this . Learn what are fake bills and what aren't !! read more

service sucks...!!!! waited so long for a waffle. i wanted to just storm out this place. the lady who served us flooded us with cantonese.. it took them 30-35 minutes to make an egg waffle (which we later found out was slightly over-cooked) I don't think I'd be visiting this place any time. read more
