There are limited indoor areas for seating is this location, but some outdoor space as well (which i don't think is meant for the boba shop). Like the Heytea in San Francisco near the Metreon, no one here says a word to anyone in the store until they call out an order. No greeting, no acknowledgement of your presence and patronage. I was the only person in this tiny store when I walked in and I may as well have been invisible. I ordered on the kiosk and went with the king jasmine guava. When the drink finally came out, the barista called out my order number, but when I walked up to take it he wouldn't give it to me unless I showed him my receipt. Again, I was the only soul in here, they saw me walk in and go to the kiosk, but I had to prove I wasn't stealing my drink before he handed it over. The sheer amount of boba I've consumed at this point in my life is immeasurably large, but I can say with certainty that none of the shops I've been to have made me hand them my receipt so they could scour it for the order number before handing it and the drink back to me. The drink was quite good, not too sweet, very refreshing, and with a pleasant guava flavor, but it wasn't enough to salvage the overall experience. I already found Heytea in San Francisco to be incredibly mid, but that's not as bad as mid and uppity. I'll never come back here.

Honestly was very surprised the bread was this good. The steak was decent enough. Nothing special, but also they don't do the thing where they call it a steak sandwich or bowl and give you a few pieces of skirt steak. The meat was actually spread apart well throughout the sandwich. The cheese and sauces gave this a good moisture level to prevent it from being too dry. This contributed to the pretty good taste Only issue is the price - it's quite a small sandwich, and yet you're paying 15 bucks for it. That's just insane prices. This is hardly filling enough for a single person for lunch. Overall, I was expecting this to be expensive and bad, and at least it was just expensive. 7.5/10

I came here last week before eat in Chinatown. If you guys want to get the freshest Bubble tea, this is the place to go! I had a Avocado smoothie( rerecorded by staff), and it was perfect taste. It was very creamy but not too sweet. Kitchen is widely open so you check them out what they are doing to your drink, which is very important at Asian place. Some bubble tea places are really dirty in Chinatown like using unwashed blender or shaker to make your drinks. Only complain is that they close so early! read more

Had been trying different bubble teas around the city and had googled this place as it was somewhere near us. At first glance the area was definitely "unique" and had a definite eccentric crown when we had gone. Don't let that push you away though. After ordering 2 of the bubble smoothies (I always love extra boba) I was shocked with how good they were and became an instant fan. No, but it has such a nostalgic feel to it, and it is super spacious inside, so it is perfect for larger groups. Personally, the vibes (and smell of the shop) remind me of Quickly from the 2000s when I was first introduced to boba and street snacks. Prices are cheap, and the menu is extensive. There's plenty of comfort food/snacks to choose from as well, especially if you brought a bunch of people to hang out with. We only cared to try their drinks as we had just dined at Mike's Noodle House. I went with the wintermelon tea with boba, while my husband went with the lychee black tea with strawberry popping boba. There are a good number of staff members to handle the volume of orders, so our drinks were made quickly. The drinks were a tad sweet but still pretty good. My boba was a little overcooked, butmy husband's popping boba was great. We pretty much left after we got our drinks as there were a bunch of people in the shop hanging out (it seemed like some sort of party was going on) and the tables were pretty sticky from not being wiped for a while. I should have gone with the nostalgic vibes and ordered a strawberry snow (my favorite drink from Quickly as a little kid) but the wintermelon milk tea still hit, especially when we had a ways to walk back to our parking spot away from the Chinatown area, and it was a pretty warm afternoon. Overall, Oasis Tea Zone is a decent place for a quick boba fix, but if you're looking for high-quality Taiwanese tea, there are better places for sure, all within walking distance of each other in the Chinatown district.

Back then I would have rated it between 3 1/2 to 4 because the taste was great. Now it's just plain, watered down and pricey. The way they made the Thai tea milky boba that my cousin ordered was not good at all. She made me taste it and we agreed on a lot of things. For $6.59 we are expecting the price will match the taste. One thing for sure is that it tasted like plain water with just added milk. She went ahead and asked if there is anything they can do to make it taste less watery. What they did is just added more milk which just change the color lighter and still taste like water with milk mixed together (Thai tea taste is no longer there). The avocado smoothie was also disappointing because it doesn't even taste like how avocado smoothie should taste like (again taste like watered down drink) :( . I don't know if they are just not adding enough ingredients or they just don't know what it really taste like. The pearls was also hard like it was not made fresh the same day. It taste as if you just put it in the refrigerator for many days and kept reusing. Unlike other location they make their boba every four hour or so to have the fresh consistency. Also , when my cousin and aunty approached them about the issue. They didn't even tell them to remake it or anything it's more of a FYI letting them know that this is what's going on and shared their experience about the drink. They just wanted to make sure , the next customer will have a better experience. The worker or probably the owner just said that's just how the boba should be because it was shaken together with the cold drink. . I know for sure that the pearl/boba doesn't suddenly turn hard rock because it was mixed in with the cold drink. We have made them fresh at home before and they are suppose to be soft and chewy , not hard and disgusting when eating it . I'm afraid they have lost not just one loyal custome, but a lot more .
