Still a pretty solid spot for bubble tea and snacks. I've come here pretty frequently for many years now, and they have changed the menu. Their prices have gone up in recent years, but I think some of the quality has gone up too (like their waffles). Their prices are still considerably cheaper than other bubble tea locations and similar snacks. Their menu also has a section for discounts on certain food items, if you purchase a drink and order before 7pm. Their staff has remained pretty consistent throughout the years too. The owner is a very quiet guy, which seems to be a common theme amongst all the staff. They get your order and serve you the food in a timely manner. The foods are generally freshly made, which is why there's a bit of a wait. The staff also does a quick wipe down of the table after they take the plates, if it seems a little messy. The food is all still very passable. It's very homemade, like what you could reasonably do at home yourself (but you're lazy). Their drinks are not fantastic, but you can taste the tea in the drinks and it's not too watery (depending on what you order) so that's good. Plus at the price and size, you really have no reason to complain. Overall, still a pretty great hangout spot! read more

This place has been around for a looooong time. My wife and I try to drop by this place if we're in the area for old times sake. We appreciate the consistency each time we come here. Nothing over the top but as a long time customer, we always order the fried squid balls and minced pork rice which we absolutely love. Even with all the competition for bubble tea, I'm not saying they are the best, but compared to what's in the area, it's the best choice. This is a cute little bubble tea shop tucked away in a random building complex. The seating area is not as brightly lit as most other bubble tea places I've been to. It's got a sort of old rustic feeling to it with all the dark wooden furniture and dim lighting. When I went, it wasn't busy at all and almost all the seats were open with folks mostly coming up to the counter to order; then they would leave after that. They have your pretty standard selection of tea options, with the addition of smoothies, specials like their Oreo Taro slushie, etc. Their milk bubble tea is a little on the sugary side, but the tea flavor still definitely comes through. Bubble Tea and Me also has food options available -- looks like a lot of breakfast options. I tried their green tea cake which was good, but didn't have a tea flavor really at all. This dessert shop is quite small and hard to find. They have nice decoration inside with vintage Chinese tables. I ordered waffle and ice cream for $1 extra. The waffle was somehow very unique. Its texture is like Asian bakery cake, not the standard waffle that we usually have. It was however good because it tasted different. We added ice cream for $1 extra but I think that the scoop is too small. It should have been a little bit bigger. For takeout, I ordered classic pearl milk tea. Despite of waffle being good, the drink tasted so watery and plain. I was very disappointed because I thought the drink could be better. I also noticed a lot of dust were everywhere around my table and they have the worst dirty washroom that I've ever experienced. Totally ruined my appetite. Given the distant location, drink quality and level of cleanliness, I don't think I would be back anytime soon. I do recommend to try out their waffle, but not the drinks. It may be a great places to hang out with friends but considering my worst experience seeing all dusty furnitures, it's not gonna be in my comeback list. read more

OK, so I came back here again, after I didn't really liked it the first time. because this place is smaller and moee cozy than those huge bubble tea shops on hwy 7 and in Scarborough. also there is plenty of parking. This place is clearly just meant to be for consuming BUBBLE TEA and hanging out with friends. I wouldn't trust the food served at any bubble tea shops. Most drinks are $3.49 for a small, add $1 to upgrade to large and $0.50 for tapioca/pudding/jelly/yogurt. The green tea passion fruit I had ($2.99) wasn't bad. The green bean green milk tea ($3.49) tasted more like coconut to me. The chocolate mint black milk tea was very minty, we could smell it right away. It tasted like mint Aero bars. This bubble tea joint is pretty tucked away. It's hard to tell that they're open because the lighting inside is very dim (we almost missed it). The interior adorns lots of traditional Chinese decorations. I like that it has an ambiance; it's great for just chilling/chatting with friends. With good prices for decent drinks and its onvenient location (Yonge/Clark, 1km north of Steeles), I'm adding this to my list of go-to BBT shops. read more

Stopped by here to get a small reprieve from the usual Chatime craze, and the fact I wanna try some other bubble tea places to see how they stack up to Chatime. Actually...I was dropping off one of my relatives when she told me about this place, so I stopped by since I was thirsty. When I arrived at around 3pm, the restaurant was completely empty aside from a couple. I decided to order takeout as I needed to retrieve my car across the street (was carpooling somewhere after having dim sum at Legend). I had the mint chocolate tea with tapioca and regular ice/sugar. Maybe I should've ordered extra ice...cause my drink ended up being warmer than I thought. Also the mint taste was much stronger than I thought; I could barely taste any chocolate in my drink. Aside from that the sugar content and overall drink was decent enough. Overall for 50 cents more expensive, I personally do think Chatime is actually worth the cost, but if you don't want that 30+ minute wait during non-school hours then this place is a good alternative (though there aren't any Chatimes within a 2km radius in the first place). read more

Okay so im pretty upset about this. Ive been coming here about 6-7 years and I love this place because i love coconut & its the ONLY place that makes the most orgasmic proper tasting coconut milk tea ! So good! Ive brought pretty much all my friends here throughout the years .. HOWEVER , Im so not impressed anymore and As much as i love the bubble tea Im contemplating not returning due to poor service. So theres normally 2 ppl working and the place is never too busy.. after they drop u the order sheet, they WILL NOT return to get your order no matter how long you wait. You have to get up and go give them your order as they stand there and talk to eachother behind the counter . Thats that. I normally get a side of grilled cheese which comes with chips beside it, which I always found a cute little snack.. i ordered a hot dog this time , which wouldve came with chips on the plate as well, but on the menu showed fries instead of chips so i thought ouu they upgraded a bit right? No they brought me a crap little grocery packaged hot dog, with nothing else. No chips no fries nothing. No napkins either .. I had to go up and ask for it. Absolutely no service. & when i angrily left no tip when leaving , they looked all offended. ?! Lmao. It was ridiculous. The bubble tea was ok why PAPER STRAWS for bubble tea? The straws get soggy in 2 minutes and tapioca gets stuck in them which makes it IMPOSSIBLE to drink. I could only drink half of my drink before the straw got completely clogged and I had to throw everything away. Did I order something here? My check in record said so, and recently. Wow, this place is so not memorable. We needed cold beverages after a very spicy meal at a Korean restaurant. This bubble tea place was right across the street, so here we went. The menu choices were typical of bubble tea places, so were the prices. We placed our orders saying we would have them in the shop. Why they would give us the beverages in take-out plastic cups instead of 2 ceramic mugs was beyond me. The drinks tasted all right. The place was too dark. This place has been around as long as I can remember. One of the originals, and by far one of the best bubble tea places in the GTA. Selection is really great, and I'm personally very fond of the milk teas. Service is also really great, and the guys and girls are always in a good mood. Food, as Bebe B. said, STILL needs to be improved...but you don't come here for the food. If you do, then stick to the simple stuff, i.e. grilled cheese... Great cake though. You only go to this uptown joint to get bubble tea... do not order food, do not order dessert, do not pass go etc! BT&Me has a pretty extensive selection of bubble tea and they tend to make pretty decent ones too. You'll see everything from middle aged Uzbek men playing strange card games, to teenage couples with nowhere else to go for a date! The biggest advantage of BT&Me is that it's open late and does not get too busy, hence providing a pretty good alternative to Dmitri's or Timmy's in that area for a late night rendezvous. From what I've tried, the coconut tea with milk and kiwi sans milk are good choices and I have a few friends who swear by the watermelon smoothie, though I'm not a big fan. In brief give it a try, but stick to the teas. read more

This is my favourite place to get bubble tea when I'm in the area as the quality for the price is amazing. Their bubble teas are made with Taiwanese teas and lactose-free milk which is great for lactose intolerant people like me. They also have a selection of foods here although I haven't tried them yet, but they take spc so for a large bubble tea with tapioca it costs me $5. This place has been my go to spot recently. The location is terrible since it is very annoying and difficult to get to by TTC. You do need a car to access this place. However, what I like about this place is that it is spacious, quiet, and most of all, serve delicious bubble tea. I am a sucker for green tea flavoured bubble tea and this place has a thick, rich taste of real green tea. They have many many options and although I haven't tried them all, I've been happy with all the menus I've tried. I haven't tried real food here but I've tried condensed milk brick toast and what do you know? It is yummy. I should also note that price is also fair, and you will pay even or more at prime locations near finch at lesser quality. So there it is, if you have a car, need a spot to go to late at night in North York with friends, give this place a try. read more

I use to come here all the time in high school for my bubble tea fix, they are open really late. I don't think their flavours are as authentic to Chatime. I used to get the passion fruit green tea w/ tapioca or the green apple green tea. They use more syrup and their drinks are really sweet, you can't choose your ice/sugar level like Chatime. Also at Chatime they are more expensive but you get more authentic items such as Roasted Milk Tea. Sometimes their tapioca is a bit off, one time the centres were very hard. I've also had their brick toast which was okay, i felt like it needed more condensed milk. Their fondue and cake selection is good. I always used to get their Taiwanese shaved ice but for a whole year every time I call they said its not in season so I just stopped going. If you go and they do have it get it with strawberry sauce and condensed milk. read more

The price of the tea is also less than other joints, which I was happy about. Will be coming back. Bubble Tea and Me is a bit off the path on Yonge. You can miss it easily if your driving by. The interior of the place is different than most bubble tea joints. Dim lighting. And pretty spacious but lots of dining tables. Service is great. Their menu has a wide range of bubble teas, smoothie like drinks (lots that incorporate real fruit which I appreciate), and hot teas. Food is also an option, and they have a good selection to choose from as well. But I felt like dessert so I had: A pot of Rose Tea and a cherry cheesecake. I think the cakes are made out of the store but it's okay. It tasted good. The Rose Tea comes in a small clear tea pot, I liked how the tea pot was clear so I could see the roses flavouring the hot water. The pot could make 2 full glasses of tea. In a busy location at Yonge and Clark sits a cozy spot where bubble tea is what's on. TVs are usually showing whatever local sports team is on or news, and the place tends to feel more like a pub at times than a tea place. Seating in small rooms with individual tables for small and larger groups fill quickly, food is OK (occasionally just defrosted, poorly) but not what one comes for. Service is attentive and fast. Opens after lunch time, so no good for an earlier sugar...er, tea craving. Most tea flavourings are syrup-based and can be overly sweet. At around $4-5 per, one can hope to expect more than sugar, tea and ice in a glass with tapioca/jelly, but that's what is to be expected. read more
