The staff didn't greet us, but greeted ones after us. The employee at the front taking our order wasn't friendly & didn't speak much either. Another employee was kind enough to allow me samples of 2 bases I was curious about. We had 2 different staff members create our bowls and the staff at the front counter was a bit careless with the arrangement of mine. Once everyone left, they were all immediately on their phones. We sat inside, and once we left no one thanked us for coming in either. It may not seem like a big deal, but those types of things make or break my experience and determine if I'm willing to come back or not. My smoothie bowl was good, it had a pitaya and mango base with granola, pineapple, and kiwi. I'm unsure of if I'll return as of this moment because of my experience.

All of the smoothies looked refreshing but we decided on the Mighty Green & the Daydream Smoothy. What a great idea! It didn't take very long for our smoothies to be ready and they were very refreshing and delicious! The Prime Bites were also quite tasty as well. Definitely check them out if you are looking for juices, smoothies or smoothie bowls in the area! You will not be disappointed!!!

Great food + great service + clean atmosphere = Highly recommend Playa Bowls, especially the Mucho Mango Bowl!

I had a pretty frustrating start to my first order here ever though. I was ordering for my son so I placed an order online but when I got there, they told me they were completely out of stock for any type of whey protein. That sucked since I was given no notice when I was ordering and I'm ordering for someone else. Ugh. When I looked around at other places, I definitely got an out of stock notice so I let them know that but they said they couldn't fix it online. Seems to me they need a better Web person. My son decided to go with the plant protein and did enjoy his smoothie. The employees on duty were incredibly nice, and because I was supposed to get a partial refund since we didn't want an extra scoop of protein powder with plant being the only option, they ended up refunding the whole drink. They need someone new working on the online ordering system but I will go back and try a bowl or one of their cold brew drinks because they were so nice and professional.

The space itself was clean and nicely decorated, though it's pretty small inside. When I walked in, it smelled like the food would be amazing but the actual taste didn't match. The drinks were heavy on the veggie flavor, especially the ones with beets. The beet taste was overpowering and made it hard to enjoy the drink. I know it's a juice bar but I was hoping for more balance and freshness in the flavors. I also tried the avocado toast and didn't enjoy it. It had way too many peppers which made it spicier than expected and the avocado texture was off. It reminded me of mashed potatoes instead of fresh, creamy avocado. I hate leaving negative reviews but I believe in being honest. This spot had great service and a cute interior but the food and drinks just weren't for me. Mind you... I'm vegetarian.
