The soft waffle cone is the main attraction at this ice cream shop. To order, you choose your waffle filling, ice cream, and topping(s). I loved how chewy and warm the waffle was. It provided a delicious juxtaposition to the cold ice cream. Sadly, the ice cream in a cup does not come with a mini waffle cone. The ice cream itself wasn't anything special and tasted good, but more like something from a frozen food section. That being said, the toppings were fresh and balanced out the average tasting ice cream. I think this is a cute place, but if you value flavor over hype, I do not recommend coming here. read more

An amazing dessert concept. Place looks very fresh, super fun. Apparently this is the only location. We visited during week while passing thru Katy, TX on the way to San Antonio. The only thing was they charge you for each topping or filler to add to cone/ They have a "step by step " order process and FYI you don't have to pick a selection for each step. Bubblegg waffles were good and fluffy. We had the banana special and the strawberry special ones that came with ice cream ( chose cookies and cream for one and coffee for the other). The waffle under the ice cream became a little soggy, but not too bad. You get like one third a banana and one strawberry with each special that they cut and made look really pretty, but not very much fruit for the price. It's very Instagram worthy, but was kind of hard to eat since you don't want to crush the bubble waffle by pushing too hard on the ice cream. My son loves the waffle so we keep coming back, but it's just ok. We have had the matcha tea with tapioca, which was ok, and a milk tea. We prefer our tapioca chewier, but it was still good. I got cookies and cream and my friend chose banana cream pie. Both flavors were so tasty and smooth. Great ice cream. Next you chose what toppings you want. We got sprinkles and whipped cream. The shop was cute, clean, and offered numerous places to sit and enjoy your yummy treat! Not sure about the mixed reviews of the service at this location.. However, I experienced incredible service! The employees here are diligent, fast, and unbelievably professional. This was my first experience, and I must say not my last. The employees were patient and even recommended me drinks that they like. Even while bringing out my drink order they had such a bright smile. I loved their fruit tea. It had such a tart and a subtle sweetness to it, with the crunch of the mango and strawberry pieces. The boba was textbook perfect, amazing chew and not hard unlike some locations I've been to. The location itself is clean and tidy. The decor does not look outdated, instead it looks so cute! The guy ringing me up should work as a telemarketer to sell extended car warranties. We just wanted a signature waffle. The guy asks me if I want to buy a combo with a drink. I just wondered if its for any drink. He said not for the ones I was interested in. I pointed out it says "any drink". Nevermind I just want the signature waffle. He now says since i am an adult, I'll get two scoops instead of one scoop of ice cream. So I picked a different flavor for the second scoop. Turns out hes trying to charge me for an extra scoop. When I asked about it, he said its required and while he was saying this, the guy making them pointed out that it is not. He then removed my first flavor choice which I will find out later. After this long and awkward interaction he checks up with me if Im sure I dont want to buy a bottle of water or anything else. I thought this guy must be joking but the soulless look on his face told me otherwise. I get my waffle ice cream. I take a few bites with my wife to notice it was the 2nd option of ice cream that he put in. I mentioned it to them and they said since we took a bite, we would have to purchase the original flavor that we asked for. Decor was really cute. We were really excited to try this place out, but the workers really killed the vibe. I'm hoping they're kids that we're just tired from school and not Merpy like that everyday. As we asked questions the guy just pointed at the menu and acted as if we should already know how to order. So you still have to pick the flavor of your ice cream and which bubble cone you want. If you don't want the combos they made up. You can pick your own. The flavor: I wasn't a fan of the texture.... I tried maybe 3 flavors and to be honest didn't even really want any of them. We chose the blue Cookie Monster that had the cookie dough bites in it. This was one of those moments where I wished I read the reviews on Yelp before heading here. For a place that specializes on gai daan zai you would think they would really make it amazing. I grew up eating this from small stands on the side of the street in Toronto's China Town. The orange lychee green tea had 0 green tea flavor and oranges seeds left in it. Wasnt super terrible, but not amazing either. A pineapple mojito without any mint or lime flavor. Wheres the mojito part? It was more like a sparkling pineapple drink, it was good...but its being sold as a mojito...give me the mint and lime! I just want to make it clear that I understand that their grand opening was about a week ago and there are still kinks that need to be figured out (like service...oh god their service...). I thought this place was amazing. I my kids absolutely loved the create way they do the toppings. The ice cream is also really good. The waffle cones were delicious too. You can add toppings inside of your cone. They make the cones fresh which is why there is a little bit of a wait. They were also very clean and sanitized. After each person checked out I watch the cashier wipe down everything and sanitize his hands.... literally after each person. That is wonderful. I used to work in food service and I know people don't even do this when covid isn't going on so it was refreshing to see them so clean and organized.
