Had a wonderful experience with Ana for my 10 month old's first haircut! She has such a warm and gentle energy that put us at ease right away. The people very nice and the hairstylist was very patient with my baby. The haircut was OK and after I pointed out some spots that were uneven, she recut his hair. The haircut was still quite uneven and now quite short but I was afraid to cut more. The place was very clean and cute and they had balloons and suckers for after the haircut..... The worst part was that the stylist was incredibly rushed (they BARELY swept up the previous child's hair when they put us in the chair and started cutting with the same scissors she cut the previous child) AND THA WAIT!! They say they welcome walk ins (we got there exactly when they opened) but they only had one stylist and the 45 minute wait with a toddler was difficult! read more

I brought my son here countless times for haircut. Overall I think the stylists have done a pretty good job. We actually had a couple great cuts here. Unfortunately, we have had two really poor haircuts once while it was under the current owner and once while it was under the previous owner. I realize now that both times they were done by Alma, I do not recommend her. I showed her a photo of what we were looking for, I told her my son wanted to keep his hair long. She didn't listen and told me it's not possible to keep his hair long?!? I said that I know I want the sides cleaned up a bit but he wants to keep his hair long, she said okay. She immediately took a pair of clippers and shaped off almost all of his hair except for his bangs. It happened so fast I couldn't even stop her. So now his hair is incredibly short all the way around including the back of the top, but has long bangs. He has been trying to grow his hair long (which I told her) so I feel really sad for him. To top things off she was also late arriving to the appointment. For $40, this was absolutely not worth it. I would come back here but to a different stylist that actually listens when you try to tell them what you want. read more

Ana's amazing. She's been doing my son's signature haircut, the faux hawk for a long time. We even did a styling color red gel which came out super cool on the tips of my son's spikes. She is very nice and detail orientated with a passion of working with kids and doing the best haircuts and styles for your kid. We love Ana. After each haircut your kid gets a lollipop and a balloon. To begin, the salon is decorated and set up perfectly for little ones. My son is only one, and they found a way to entertain him with balloons, Blippi, and fun decor. Ana was amazing, and did such a great job handling him while he kept fidgeting in the seat. He didn't even cry, which was a miracle. We will definitely be back for future haircuts. read more

Haircut was not the best compared to where I go now. They left a lot of hair on the crown of my boys head which made hair stick up... after combing over My boys did not have the option to choose a car where they want to do their haircut. Which takes away from the experience. They were both seated in a pink car... Staff was friendly.. read more

I love taking my boys to get their haircuts at Bubble Cuts! I have been bringing them here since they were babies. It is a bright friendly atmosphere and the stylist are skilled and work well with children. The salon is clean, organized. Not the best experience. This was my 2 year old's first haircut and there were several misses. They were late to our appointment because their previous haircut was taking longer, which would have been fine - we don't mind waiting. Right before it was our turn, another family checked in for their appointment, which was set for after ours. We overheard management tell them "don't worry, you're next, it should only be 10-15 minutes". They only had 1 hairstylist. That suggests they were only planning on a 10-15 minute haircut for our son. When it was our turn though, they got him in a chair and the hairstylist immediately got in without even saying anything. She was brusque and accidentally bumped his head with her hand, and he started crying. She did not take her time at all and kept saying "don't cry". They finished his cut quickly, and proceeded to take care of the next family. I saw the stylist taking her time, like she should have with us. The manager tried sweet talking us in the end. The place is nice with cars for seats, and they give you a balloon at the end. That's all it has going for it. The service was not great and we will not be back. read more

My family was sad when Yellow Balloon closed. My son is a pandemic baby so he hasn't had much interaction with the outside world. His first haircut was at Yellow Balloon and was done by Alma. When Yellow Balloon closed, we weren't sure where to take my son for his next haircut. Discovered Bubble Cuts on Yelp, noticed it was the same address, so I made an appointment for my son. We were so happy to see that Alma was still there. She is so patient and does a great job on my son who cannot keep still during haircuts. Will continue to bring my son here for his future haircuts. Alma is very fast and does a fantastic job on my son's hair. Parking is sometimes a chore because of the location, but we've been lucky finding street parking thus far. read more

Thank you so much for giving my son his first haircut. I didn't know what to expect but they are so prepared. They played my sons favorite disney movie Coco and allowed us to pick which car he wants to sit in. The lady, Alma, was the one who did my sons haircut and she is so sweet and calm. She allowed me to collect all my sons hair lol once we were done, they gave my son a balloon and a certificate with his picture and a bit of his hair. I'm so glad I came here for his first haircut. She offered me the bathroom to wash him by the time I got back she had already moved on to the next client. There was nothing special about the cut the moment to cherish baby 1st haircut was not a nice experience. The advertisement said 36$ with a certificate, picture and lock of hair. We got charged 50$ no certificate no picture just a tiny ziplock with hair. I really hope this is just a one time thing but just left disappointed and what was supposed to be a special day was just not.

We had such a wonderful experience with Wanda for our son's very first haircut! She was incredibly patient, gentle, and made the whole experience fun and comfortable for him. She took her time, made sure he felt at ease, and did an amazing job with his haircut. Absolutely dreadful experience! The salon had poor hygiene practices - tools weren't cleaned between customers. The hairstylist seemed overworked, doing back-to-back appointments, while the host rushed and pressured her to finish quickly.
