I saw this place only does appointment only, so I was nervous about getting a spot for the same day. As this was a hair emergency according to my daughter who wanted curtain bangs before going back to school, hehe. Luckily, Diane was able to see her that evening. Yay! When I went in, there was a little girl, about 5 years old getting her first haircut. It was so cute to see this interaction with Diane, the little girl and her dad who seemed very excited. I had an 11am appointment for my son, I got there 15 mins earlier, the lady was just starting to wash a customers hair and by 11:22 she was still blow during that same customer's hair. She was probably a regular who I'm hoping had an appointment before mine. But at a quick glance at the appointment book it seems I was suppose to be the first appointment. Seems like they cater to repeat customers at this point my 2 yr old is antsy so we had to leave because I had no idea when she was going to be done. Why would you book an appointment for someone knowing they would be waiting for at least 30 mins past appointment time. I was very disappointed the last time I went there. Yao was talking to me, and she did not pay attention to the length of my haircut. Before I knew she had cut it much shorter than I had told her! When I pointed it out, she shrugged and said no worries it will grow back. I am in entertainment and I cannot afford to have it very short. I was shocked. First off, I messaged Hairitage through Yelp and Diane quickly responded to me. I found Hairitage through Yelp and read all the great reviews for them and so I decided to go ahead and contact them to see if I could schedule an appointment for Saturday, 1/9/16, because I am waaaaaaay overdue for a haircut. Diane made an appointment for me at 3 pm and I couldn't wait to cut my super long hair. The place was easy to find, and there's lots of street parking on Glenoaks as well as behind their shop. The place is small, but that didn't matter to me because all I cared about was how my hair was going to turn out. She asked how much I wanted to cut off and I showed her, it was about 4-5 inches I think, and yes that just shows how long my hair was coming in. Then I proceeded to tell her that I wanted layers around my face and then long layers on the back. I must say I love my hair! I'm super picky too so I was nervous at first because I have had people mess up and I've totally cried after and I definitely did not after Diane was finished! I will for sure come back again! I was driving in Burbank looking a quick Haircut today on my lunch break and found Hairitage in a good visible location, I parked walked inside the salon where I met Diane the owner and she was already in the middle of taking care of a customer, so I waited a few minutes.
