It's already hard enough, trying to find a Groomer, but I had heard it was hit or miss here with the service so I was already very hesitant. I feel that after this phone call I didn't feel very confident in making an appointment. Because there was no clear time that my dog was going to be done. I originally asked about a walk-in but would make an appointment if necessary. I didn't want my dog to be there all day. They just tried to say they had a different system, no direct answer for confidence/ or comfortable in making the appt. Which she never explained a different system, just sounds like they seem to take a ton of dogs in the morning and then just pump them out when you can get them done. So that's concerning if I'm going to make an appointment I would like my dog to be done at a certain time.

I reduced this by 2 stars based on 3 things: 1) they do not have runs for large dogs so my pup is in a cage while he is here. 2) they have a drop off window. And it's a first come first served basis. So if you get there later in the window for a drop off you're not picking up until 6pm or later. 3) the front staff/customer service. Most places call as a reminder for the grooming appointment, this place does not. So if you forget, welp that's it. If your furbaby is due for vaccines, they don't tell you until you get there and then you are forced to reschedule.. oh and that's after waiting your turn to check in. Again I keep coming back because my groomer is here, and both me and my pup love her so there ya go!

The grooming itself was sloppy too they left a long forgotten lock of hair on one ear and gave her an uneven face trim that looks nothing like the teddy bear inspiration photo I showed them. This business has terrible communication, no respect for customer consent, and poor quality work. Go somewhere else.

Luckily, I came across the site for Petlocks and saw all the wonderful work Lee has done on her clients! Mali is a 10 lb senior maltese-poodle mix. It has been about 8 months since her last grooming (I personally trimmed her every month). Mali was scared at first (like always), but looked so comfortable and at home when I came to pick her up at the groomers! I've never seen her so comfortable before, so I knew she was in good hands.
