Nice little spot - hubby"a brisket sandwich was tender and he enjoyed the cinnamon and honey he dipped his sweet potato fries in. My grilled chicken sandwich was yummy and the steak fries I had with it were good too. read more

Second time we've ate here. Had the shrimp special. Shrimp was hot and tasty. Fries were cold and so were the baked beans. Also the waitress filled out unsweetened tea with sweet tea. Ordered the bacon cheeseburger with a fried egg on top. The egg was hard fried. What is the point of topping a a burger with a fried egg, if the yolk is not runny. The burger was cold and had obviously been precooked. Had a side of green beans, which had been cooked to mush. Overall, it was a very disappointing meal. Causal restaurant with a sports theme. Has jerseys and other memorabilia from the local High School team on the wall. Has the common menu for such places. Average food and service. Not a que joint by any stretch. Seems popular with the locals. If you are looking for a place to get a bite to eat this is the place, but if you are looking for something special, keep looking. read more

Thw sweet potato fries and the bun on the Bbq sandwich were soggy. The featured ribs were really dry. Wasn't worth the drive.

There are good burgers, and there are great burgers. Bubba's local burger is perfectly cooked, delicious, amazing. The warmth and the friendliness of the people who work here, and the attentiveness of the staff are top notch. read more

Bubba's is the best place in Burnsville, NC to eat. Love the local sport team's memorabilia and the staff is very friendly and courteous. Best tasting food in Burnsville! I've eaten here about 20 times over the last couple of years. The staff is always friendly and most of them have been there for a while. The owners are locals and care about the community. The interior is decorated with photographs and sports memorabilia from local school sports teams. The beef brisket sandwich is a must-try. read more

My friend, who just moved back to Burnsville after 12 years, and I ate here last week and it was a bit disappointing. My mushroom Swiss burger with sweet potato fries was great. Unfortunately my friend ordered the fish and chips special (which was listed on the chalk board at the entrance) The fish was not properly cooked and the shoestring Bubba fries were burnt. Initially the service wasn't bad, although I had to ask for more mayo 3 times because they would only bring one packet at a time even though I told them I love mayo with my fries and need plenty. The service really changed when after we got our food I noticed a couple come in who I'm assuming was related to 1 or more of the staff (maybe they were the owners?). After they arrived multiple staff came to their table. At least 1 of the kitchen staff and 2 different waitresses sat at the couple's table and each waitress had a conversation with the couple. One was our waitress and she was eating off the couple's plates so getting her attention for service was not happening. There was also a young woman with a screaming toddler who was obviously a good friend or relative of a 3rd waitress and they seemed to be the only customers getting that waitress's attention. If you live in the area and are part of their "regulars" I'm sure you get great service and food. If you are new to the area or just visiting I'd recommend trying another establishment in hopes of more professional service and everyone getting a good meal. We have no plans on returning. read more

We had Bubba's cater food for a family reunion and it was fantastic. Pulled pork, beef brisket, baked beans, hush puppies, Cole slaw and corn bread. Bubba's provided food for 25 people but it was really enough for 30. Very generous portions and very reasonably priced. Highly, highly recommend Bubba's!! read more
