I understand if this occurs at 4:45pm when the posted hours are until 5pm but it is 10:30am and there is an implication that the store should be open for another 6.5 hours. Due to how often this occurs you would think there would be a second round of baking that occurs to accommodate the ongoing business hours. The employees are rude and short with customers and there are no other donut options in town, which further compounds the issue. In the timeframe that I was parked at least 2 other potential customers walked up to the door to see that they were sold out - if you are unable to stay open for an entire business day then list your hours as 5AM to sold out - it's not that complicated.

It's been a bit difficult to find somewhere in Grass Valley that's consistently good. I just ate my 5th or 6th bagel sandwich at Bubba's Bagels and as usual; it was EXCELLENT! :-) The staff is nice, the food is fresh, the prices are great and you even get a 12oz soda or coffee with any bagel sandwich. This little place is busy for a reason. It's now mine and my wife's favorite place to get a bite to eat when we're in town. Great job guys! :-) read more

Every single interaction with an employee is horrible. Why is no one smiling? I can understand bad days but it's every single time that I come in. I'm a local and go in all the time and everyone except for one girl is rude. I hope management can work on that with the staff because me and everyone else sees it. Tried this place for the first time yesterday & it was well worth it. Being from New York it's been really hard to find a shop that sold that homemade style bacon egg and cheese on a bagel, but this place nailed it. Just wish the bagels were a bit bigger. It's been almost a year since we've been to Bubba's and so freeing. Forget the bagels---I've easily given them up because the service by the owner was so nasty. As a business owner myself, I place customer service at the top. No food is worth that abusive behavior we experienced and I've see them dish it out to others. read more

Bagels like no other!!! I great up in GV but have since moved away. I have tried to come up with ways to get them here before they go bad and without it costing an arm and a leg. No such luck! Bubba's Bagels is a must try!! I always recommend it as a breakfast option to those who are from out of town. They have killer jalapeño cheddar bagels and the wide variety of cream cheese is just as fantastic. I always get either a bacon breakfast sandwich or the Tahoe!! Highly recommend!!! read more

As I waited, I noticed several people who ordered after me receiving their food while I was still sitting there. About 15 minutes later, I finally received my to-go sandwich. When I opened the container, it was obvious it had been sitting there for a while. The sandwich was sweaty, and half of it was soggy. Apparently, they had forgotten to bring it to me. By that point, my mocha was already gone before I had even started eating. The BLT itself was made on regular-sized sandwich bread, and the tomatoes and bacon were good. But $34 for a basic BLT and a small iced mocha is outrageous, especially considering the wait and the condition of the sandwich when I finally received it. I will not be going back. The prices are simply far too high for what you get.
