Bubba's 33 is always a solid choice. It's particularly great if everyone in your group wants something different and no one can agree to one genre of food or one restaurant. IYKYK! Moms-we've all been there with the siblings that bicker about which restaurant to go to! Lol. Well, Bubbas is a good solution! They have a little bit of everything on the menu! The fried pickles are always a fave appetizer for us. The rolls are soooo good and worth the wait. Salads are amazing, burgers, fries...the menu goes on and on! We always have good service. Came with some coworkers a few weeks back just forgot to leave a review. I had gone to one in mesquite a few years back. First the longest time I thought this place was a sea food restaurant like Bubba Gump lol. Any that time I got there breakfast burger and man was it good! On this visit I got the breakfast burger again and it was as good as I remembered. Place was pretty busy but got my order in a reasonable time. Restaurant was clean but busy. Breakfast burger 9 outa 10 Onion rings 6 outa 10 batter dipped is not my preference I asked the server and they could tell me if they batter dipped or crunchy‍ i found out when they came out. We got 2 burgers. One mushroom burger and the other one blue cheese with bacon. Both are good and the patties thick but not too thick. It was cooked right so it was juicy . I met my friend here for dinner. It was my fourth time,@ Bubba's 33 and was just as good as the first time. We ordered the pepperoni pizza & it was very satisfying. Fast forward to after 10:30 pm and I am eating leftover cold pizza. Ya, I could warm it in microwave but cold pizza tastes better. First time having the pizza. I am enjoying it. The lasagna... yep, super rich, saucy, delicious bite after gooey bite. Paired with garlic foccacia that's perfectly toasted. Ask for extra off the rip. It really should come with two sticks. My only issue. Did I mention the salad? Order a side salad. Yes, could be better with salad greens over iceberg, but still a good bite. The open air on the covered patio bar. During Lent, it is always tough to find a fish entrée outside of a seafood restaurant that is child friendly. Bubba's 33 delivered! The fish n chips are HUGE. 2 large cod fillets, light and crispy batter, with the choice of two sides I got the garlic french fries and mac & cheese. We are first timers at Bubba's and wowwwww. Amazing. The hostess greeted us immediately and got us sat. The appetizer was AMAZING. Our 2 and 4 year old thought it was queso and they dug IN. They tore it up. The cheese pulls were everything. The waiter was knowledgeable and recommended the grilled chicken. The grilled chicken was so fresh testing and flavorful. My ribs were perfectly sweet and spicy (raspberry chipotle). The mashed potatoes were so tasty and creamy. The broccoli was seasoned well and garlicky! The kids loved their chicken and I tried it too--so yummy. A man also came to gave us a 10% off keychain for being first timers. The beer was cold and fresh. Burger was OK but very little flavor and was cooked well done as I requested. Fries are really good because they are battered. Service was lacking! By the time our waitress returned to check on our drinks, we had almost finished eating. She then took so long to actually bring me the drink. We finished eating paid for the ticket and we're about to walk out the door. She then brought me one to go which I didn't request or want. This was just your average little burger place but they have a pretty lengthy menu here. I had the Cobb salad and my guy had a burger with some really amazing cheesy tater tots. Their ranch was great but the salad itself was mediocre. The bacon was cut into big chunks as well as the tomatoes, and it could have used more lettuce. I'm also a little surprised they don't have pickled jalapeños, they just have fresh. The kitchen was a bit slow as well. It took about 25 minutes to get our food, but our server was very nice. There are tv's all over this place and it's a very typical food/pub vibe here which is inviting, especially if you want to watch any game. As we walked in we were greeted by the hostess Ms. Laura, she made us feel welcomed and very polite and lead us to a booth. This place was very neat, clean and well organized. We placed our orders my daughter got the wild shroomin burger, with fries, $13.99. The fries were hot, well seasoned and very tasty and so was burger. I had the classic double cheeseburger with tater tots, $16.99, The tots were hot well seasoned and tasty as was the burger it was very delicious Mr. Ahbas, was very friendly. The service provided (Charley) was first class. He was attentive and anticipated our needs well. I got the fish and tots. Though a touch on the greasy side, the fish was light and very good. Additionally, the portion size was really good... Great value. Son got a burger and onion rings... The rings were also light and crispy and well seasoned. New review! My wife and I went this past weekend and we had Andy as our server and he was hands down great! He got everything we asked for efficiently and made sure whatever we asked for he was happy to get. We customized a few things on our orders without any hesitation he was happy to make the changes. The food was flat out the best we have had there. I don't know what they have changed but the service was excellent, food was better than any prior visit. We left blown away. My wife and I just kept talking about how this was a wonderful visit. We will be coming back regularly. I almost forgot to mention they have a Monte Cristo that is not on the menu. They show some of their dishes on the TV's and we didn't see it until after we ordered. My wife saw the table behind me get one and she said she would have absolutely ordered it she said it looked amazing! We asked Andy and he said the staff haven't been able to try them yet because they are in the testing phase and not enough is available yet. But I will tell you if you miss the ones at that other place that shut down all locations after you grew up on their food, order it and demand they keep it on the menu if you like it! I enjoy stopping here, it's comfortable with a lot going on. Always a friendly greeting, our server Hannah did a great job and was attentive throughout the meal. I had a cheeseburger which may have been one of The best I've had, it was seasoned to perfection. The chicken bacon avocado sandwich was huge and delicious, although the focaccia it came on would be better replaced with a more substantial bun, paired with some seasoned fries was a great choice. We stopped here on a whim, after just landing in Dallas. Although the parking lot was packed, our party of 5 was able to be seated right away. Jatziry was our waitress, and she was phenomenal. My friend had a little pizza coupon for a free pizza so we popped on into BUBBA's I waited for my friend and also waited for water, we did a lot of waiting. When our friendly server finally arrived we ordered a salad and ask if we could use the coupon but upgrade and pay the extra- she agreed, we ordered and everything was dandy. Soon after our food arrived- salad was delicious, they kindly split it into separate bowls for us, thank you so much. Pizza hot and ready- before we could even take our first bite, the manager came over....not to say hello or check to see if everything was tasting AOK- but to ask about our coupon- her tone was almost like we got caught stealing at K-mart, it was condescending, like we were criminals- weirdest vibe. She told us they could not honor the coupon to be used on the pizza we ordered....and we kind of just sat there and said "oh man, that's why we came...." We decided to try Bubba's 33 for the first time today. We came because of the pictures and reviews. It was me, my wife, one of my daughters, and my son - four of us total. Since it was a long drive to get there, we ordered a variety of items to get a good feel for the place. We started with the spinach dip and garlic bread, and I have to say - it was incredible. Easily the best spinach dip any of us have ever had. Same for the garlic bread. It's the best. That alone could be a meal. It really set the bar high and had us excited for the rest of the meal. Unfortunately, everything went downhill from there. We ordered the double classic cheeseburger, a classic cheeseburger, two lasagnas, 25 wings, macaroni pasta, onion rings, and tater tots. The onion rings were overly salty, but I figured it was just that item. Then I tried my burger, and it was salty too. My wife and son both agreed - very salty. When the wings came out, they were also salty, and that's when we realized it wasn't just one dish - nearly everything we tried had the same issue. The only items we felt were worth salvaging were the lasagnas and the initial spinach dip. Everything else was so heavy on the salt that it took away from any other flavors. Since it was our first time there, we couldn't help but wonder if maybe it was just an off day or a new cook in the back. It's disappointing, because the online photos had us looking forward to trying the chicken sandwich and pizza on a future visit. But after this experience, I don't think I'll be able to convince the family to give it another shot. On the positive side, I will say our waiter was excellent - super nice, attentive, and friendly. I came here with friends for the first time to watch the Mavs playoff game. There were TVs all over, so it was perfect for our group, but the service was terrible. Two of us ordered the bone-in wings, and after waiting 10 minutes, they came back and told us they had just run out, so we switched to boneless, which wasn't an issue but annoying since we waited that long before they let us know. When we finally got our food they brought it in 3 waves which made it awkward for our group of 5 because everything was so spaced out. They also got one of the orders wrong and our waitress barely checked on us so my friend just had to deal with it. None of it made sense because they weren't even busy. Kearstin, our server, was OK, but not as good as in Albuquerque. She did quick refills, but when we got ready to go, it took 3 times to get a pizza box.
