The management must run a great place because it appeared they had enough staff to support an almost entirely full restaurant on a very busy Friday night. We used the call ahead seating on the app and were seated within minutes of receiving the alert that our table was ready. The only thing preventing me from giving Bubba's five stars was the volume of the music. I liked the music but it was playing at an uncomfortable level. We just flew in from San Diego and it was just past 10:30pm and we looked for someplace e that was still open so we could have dinner before heading into DC where were are staying. We were greeted, sat and served by Nicole!!!! Super lovely!!! She was very engaging and gave us the Bubbas low down. So of course with a party of 3 we all ordered something different after her suggestions.... Happy to say everyone was pleased. I had the fish and chips which were really good, batter no thick at all and it was not oily which always is a bad sign. My daughter had a classic cheeseburger which she said was good and the hubby had a Hawaiian pizza which he liked too. Nicole was great and kept our drinks refilled even before the cup was empty!!!! At the first I thought I was seeing Bubba Gump's cousin, but no, Bubba's 33 real cousin is Texas Roadhouse. What can you eat in Bubba's 33? There is Monday's Burger Day - try vegetarian burger and Tuesday is Pizza Day - try vegetable pizza. The appetizer collection is not impressive, but I tried the shirmp po boy. We were in town visiting family and were looking for something different that we don't have in Arizona---this place was pretty neat! The pricing was good for the size of portions you get! There was only a 5 min wait to be seated, which isn't bad. The food was amazing tasting--there were five of us and we all had something different and we were all happy with our meals! My waitress was so nice and took the time to answer any questions we had about the restaurant and food. There were tv's that lined the walls which my husband was thankful for. Haha! *This review is for Bubba's 33 Pizza only!* After having such a great experience dining in, we decided to come back for takeout on a Tuesday night when 12" pizzas are only $10. My boyfriend and I decided to each "get our own." Ordering online is very easy, I like that I could pay in advance and choose my pickup time. (Important to note here: You don't have to dine-in to get the $10 pizza on Tuesdays, it works for carry-out too!) We arrived right on time and parked in a spot that's reserved for online orders. Looking at the sign in front of my parking space, you're required to text them and let them know you've arrived and they will bring your food out to you. I don't know if this is a COVID policy or they have always instituted this, but it's a nice bonus so you don't have to leave your car! However, waiting for our food took FOREVER because there were other cars parked before me, and only 1 person going out to deliver orders. I wonder if going into the restaurant would have been a lot faster. After we made it home with the pizzas and opened the boxes, I was instantly disappointed. Yes, the pizza is small-ish, I expected that since they're basically personal size. But they barely had any toppings on them. It was A LOT of crust, so little cheese, and I found not "garlic butter crust." The Albuquerque Turkey pizza must be new, there was no photo of it on the website, and when we went to order, the Nacho Mama's pizza was gone so this must have replaced it. This turkey pizza stated a "ranch sauce base" in the description and there was nothing there, it was just crust. The texture was almost dried out. However, there WAS a lot of flavor. If you order this pie, beware, it's spicy! I think it comes from the jalapeno/chilies on top, but the turkey also had black pepper. The Dickie V was definitely the better pie, but still a failure for me. Good things: the sausage was SO GOOD. The cherry peppers were a delicious "zip" of a topping that should come on more pizzas. The bad things: those toppings were so sadly SCARCE. I only got 3 chunks of sausage on the whole pie and as you can see, maybe 4 hunks of cherry peppers. Just like the turkey pizza, this pie barely had any cheese, just a thin layer of sauce. I don't know if since it was "pizza night" they were trying to cut back on toppings so they had enough to last them through the night's orders, but I was so disappointed by this visit. Was the pizza good? Yes, they were very tasty. The crust tasted great, hand-tossed, definitely not a frozen crust, and the toppings were fresh. Would I order from here again? Again, yes but NOT the pizza. I could have kept my $20+ and ordered from Dominos instead. read more

I LOVE the food here!! I've only had take out so I can't comment on the service inside but the food we've ordered to go is amazing! The garlic parmesan boneless wings are out of this world. First time dining here. My husband and I were trying to figure out where to go to dinner. He brought up Bubba's as we hadn't been there yet and it had opened up recently. We headed there after picking up our kids. Pulling into the parking lot we noticed an open spot up front. "Veteran Parking". Score! I don't like asking for things just because I'm a vet but little surprises like this are always so nice. We parked and headed in. Upon entering I noticed all the decor. It was very reminiscent of Red Robin/Hard Rock Cafe except very Americana. There were a lot of witty beer placards. My kids especially loved the bench made to look like the back end of a classic muscle car. It was a bit busy as it was a fundraiser night. However, our wait was very minimal...10 minute if that. We were seated at a booth (just that much easier for our kids to sit in). There were a ton of TV screens everywhere, very sports bar. My kids were sucked into Chive TV with all the bloopers and the hostess was nice enough to switch some TV to air that. Our server came quickly and took our drink orders. I decided to try their Red Devil Margarita (strawberry flavor with jalapeños). Next go-around she came and took our orders. I ordered the stromboli, my husband the guacamole burger, and our kids a cheese and pepperoni pizza. The reason for the 4 stars is the wait was very long. I do understand that they were quite busy tonight. When we left the wait area was overflowing and out the restaurant. I will note that smaller appetizers were quick in coming out, but with main courses everyone seemed to receive them slowly. It happens. When we got our food I couldn't wait to dig in. The stromboli was very flavorful and just the right size for a person. It was piping hot, a great sign...if it were cold I would've side-eyed it hard. A stole a fry off my husband's plate and it was really delicious. I don't know what they season them with but, wow. I also got to sneak a taste of our kids' pizza as I was cutting it up. The flavor was surprisingly flavorful as well. I say surprisingly because typically any kids menu item is quite under seasoned. Not here! While enjoying our dinner the manager stopped by to check in on us. It's always so refreshing to see a manager involved in his restaurant. It definitely showed that he cared. Checking out was quick and easy. We even got a military discount as our server noticed my retiree ID when I gave her my MD ID (carded for my drink order, always flattering at my age, lol). Overall I really enjoyed Bubba's. I know I'll be back to try one of their burgers. My husband said his was good but I always like to judge it for myself. I've heard numerous people talk about Bubba's 33 and have been meaning to try it out. Came for a quick lunch and sat in the bar. Server Erin was great! Explained the menu, hand tossed pizzas, beers served at 33 degree temperature, Bubba burger is made up of 33% bacon. Started with cheese fries, yummy. I'm usually not a fan of cheese sauce but their's is very good. My entree was the 12" extra cheese pizza with roasted tomatoes. Good crust, good sauce, right amount of cheese. The one negative is by sitting at the bar, you can see the drinks being poured. All alcohol drinks are measured with measuring cups. Even wine. Nothing is straight hand poured. The bartender even squatted down so he could look at the measuring cup at eye level to ensure he didn't pour above the line. So strange. read more

Came for lunch and was very satisfied. Bubba's is a large place that is split between a bar side and a dining side, I sat in a booth on the bar side. My server's name was Erin. She did an excellent job. She asked if this was my first time at Bubba's and when I said it was she told me the everything is prepared fresh and by hand in their kitchen. I decided on the spicy chicken sandwich with loaded tots. Very good, definitely spicy. They serve hand tossed pizza, burgers, and other sandwiches. I didn't ordered anything from the bar, but if I did I would probably stick beer. I have a pet peeve which is i HATE when the bartender measures every drop before they pour it in your glass. They do that here even with wine. That's my only criticism. Definitely a great place for lunch, but it i'm going out for drinks with friends, probably choosing another spot. read more

We ordered garlic knots, reasonably priced kids meals (pizza and grilled cheese), and that's where the ordinary line was drawn. All that was good. The rest of the food was great. Just saying the name of my plate was a mouthful! A Philly cheesesteak would have been good enough on its own but I decided to go Chicago style and add sausage and sweet/hot peppers for only $1 more! What!? I'm embarrassed to admit that I could only eat half of my plate because the portion was so large. They use a sauce that I'm partly certain contains addictive narcotics because I could've drank a cup of it by itself. To say they pleased my "inner-fat-guy" is a fair and safe way of putting it. Like I said... C O M F O R T FOOD. What's not comfortable is my belt anymore. Avoid this joint if you have a New Years Resolution involving pounds coming off. Do give it a try if you're married and she's already committed to loving you no matter how fluffy you get. Then enjoy the indigestion and food coma you're in when you get home. The atmosphere was a little too loud and crowded, which is why I went with 4 stars but to be perfectly fair, that's what you're signing up for when you go to a spectacular new offering by the owners of Texas Roadhouse. I dined at Bubbas for the first time recently. This local sports bar had a family friendly atmosphere and cool interior overall. From the moment I stepped in, my eyes wandered across the multiple televisions playing Sunday football + the art work on the walls and ceiling. We were seated upon entry and did have a reservation, although it didn't seem needed. Our hostess was really friendly and informative when it came to menu items. Sometime during our meal, our host gave us a first timer voucher for one free appetizer on our next visit. When you order an alcoholic drink, you receive a ticket which are entered into a raffle. Raffle tickets are pulled every quarter of the game for a variety of prices. If you're into sports, this is absolutely the atmosphere for you when a game is on. As for food, overall pretty good but there are some subtle things I'd change. For the shrimp, could of went a bit easier on the sauce in order to preserve the crunch of the outer batter. The rice under the California chicken was a bit soggy due to the tomatoes. I enjoyed my side of fire fries! My strawberry mule was tasty but tasted alcohol free. I was very impressed with this place. Since it is a new place they had a little bit of a wait which wasn't bad. The service was decent. We got the cheese fries as an appetizer, which were amazing, came with a side of ranch. The appetizer came out in a timely manner. When we were finished with our appetizer, our meals came out pretty quickly. I got the California Chicken which was chicken topped with provolone cheese, avocado, and pico de Gallo. The chicken was amazing, very juicy and a great portion. I got a side of mashed potatoes and broccoli which were pretty tasty as well.
