I've been eating at Bubbas for around 8 years now. When I first started going there, I couldn't believe how big the burritos were. Like it was hard to even finish one. 8 Years later that's not the case. Since the re-opening the quantities have gone down and the prices have gone up. I've eaten here a couple times since then and I'm just so disappointed that a place I used to love coming to, is a place that I don't want to come to anymore. I understand prices going up, but god damn the burrito sizes are so small now. I could probably get one at Taco Bell that's the same size. There is always a massive wait here, but the food is really good in a "junk food" way. I like the fajita burritos a lot, but always wish the peppers were cooked more. Everything else about it is so unbelievably delicious (especially the salsa) it's almost a crime. And they have this nacho wedge thing, which the only way I can explain that is Naco Pizza. It's so good... but only get that dine-in, because once it's cold, it gets soggy. But omg. And it really is a bar. You can sit at a bar and get a local beer to go with your awesome nachos. Take out We were excited to try this place! First off, the burritos are huge! My friend had the buffalo burrito. Filled with buffalo chicken, fried potatoes, rice, jack cheese, and sour cream. Served with bleu cheese on the side. This was delicious and flavorful. Naked burrito (no tortilla) comes with black beans, rice, shredded cheese, guacamole and sour cream. I had grilled chicken, but passed on the cheese and got the guacamole and sour cream on the side. Huge portion. Had this for dinner and had two meals out of it. Could've even had three. The only thing I didn't like was that the grilled chicken had a weird flavor that wasn't Mexican food like. Turns out it was teriyaki sauce. Not 100% sure but like why?! I want plain grilled chicken, maybe some taco type seasonings. Cheese quesadilla on a whole wheat tortilla. Blah. Definitely not worth ordering. came here for years and have finally been back since renovations. they really sold themselves short on space with their renovations. their bar setup is displeasing for customers as well as staff. why put a refreshment area in the middle of a bar opening where staff has to beg people to move out of their way. They could have thought this out better. Their new speaker system is less than satisfactory as it goes off with static every two seconds and is dreadful to hear. No point in staying to eat here anymore. staff is friendly food seems to be the same quality and portions. prices increased a tiny bit but that was going to be expected. This place is always packed and is hard to get seating to eat in. My suggestion is to take it to go. The burritos are filling and it's worth the wait. Don't forget to check the specials menu I did that and seen somethings I would have ordered after I had already placed my order. They have a stoner burrito type menu not your basic burrito menu which is a good thing. I had the chicka chicka boom boom burrito and it's everything you would want to cure the hangover. SOOOOO good! This place was good before the renovations but it's only gotten better. Beach vibe music, great food, and alcohol ..Does it get better? There is outside seating as well which I love. If you haven't been here it's worth a trip. It does get pretty busy but they work quick and your never waiting too long. You just may be waiting for a seat. They do have call ahead/order ahead ordering options which is really helpful if you want to run in and run out. They have a lot of different options on their menu. Can't say enough about this food. I moved out here from NJ back in 2017. After moving here, my brother told me that if I wanted a good burrito, I should hit up Bubba's. Y'all have been the absolute MVPs since then. I order from y'all at least once a week. Brotato and a Land and Sea. in the 5 years I've been ordering from y'all, the people answering the phone have always been so friendly, the delivery drivers are always on time, if not earlier than expected and the food is beyond phenomenal. Not once has my order ever been messed up, and I find that extremely impressive given how busy y'all are at any given time. Don't ever change, Bubba's. Interesting spot to get a burrito. It had a dive bar feel to it and the menu wasn't traditional mexican fare. They offered burritos that you would see on Diners Drive Ins and Dives. It was also really packed for a Friday night so it seems to be a crowd favorite. Ae ordered nachos with queso and two burritos. One was the fajita burrito and the other had mozzarella sticks, breaded chicken, French fries and other things. While they were stuffed to the brim, they lacked something that I can't put my finger on. The fajita burrito lacked seasoning and seemed dry. The other burrito felt like a heart attack in a burrito but maybe that's what they were going for. I probably wouldn't hit this place up again, probably because its way out of the way for me, but it had a cool ambiance for what it was and the nachos were cool. read more

It was filled with way too much rice. The chips and guacamole was on point. This restaurant is probably the only one I know that gives so much guacamole for the price it cost. Bubbas finally opened after renovating and I'm sad to say I'm extremely disappointed. The place looks great and system is faster but the food is not the same not even close. The price went up and the portion of meat is non existent. All rice lettuce cheese. My friends burrito had 3 pieces of chicken in to and my bowl had 6 pieces of meat literally. This place is notorious for their crazy burrito concoctions and I've finally had the chance to experience for myself. I went with the idea of getting tacos, but after reading the list of burritios I felt like I needed to get both...(fat kid moment). I ordered the buffalo chicken burrito, a fish taco, and a street style steak taco. Warning!! This was WAY TOO MUCH FOOD!! I managed to eat most of it though, it was just too good to put down! The burrito was about the length of my arm and as big as my face, I ended up halfing it with a friend which was the smartest thing I did that day. Packed with buff chix, brown rice, cheese and goodness...this thing was heaven. The fish taco was tasty with the cabbage and special sauce. My friend had gotten the chicken tacos and hasn't stopped raving about them since. Apparently the wait here can be long, not the case when I went which was a nice surprise. There aren't many tables inside, but they do have some outside. They've got a few taps of craft beer/cider which was a nice little treat for our lunch break. This may be one of those "absence makes the heart grow fonder" types of places, but I am OBSESSED with this place! I first encountered Bubba's when I was working in Bay Shore, and the company ordered it for Taco Tuesday, and ever since then I have been hooked (no, seriously... anytime I'm within a couple of minutes of Bubba's I make sure that's a stop no matter what time of day). The food is fresh, super filling, and delicious all at a reasonable price, plus the menu is HUGE so whether you're looking for a "normal" burrito or a more "experimental" order you're set. I typically opt for the classic burrito (rice, black beans, shredded jack cheese, sour cream, and guacamole) with chicken, adding queso (and to be honest that's so good I can never convince myself to try something new), but my friends before have gotten the Brotato (marinated steak, fried potatoes, onion rings, cheese and bacon in a bayou sauce), and naked burritos (no shell, in a container, but I don't know if I'd consider this a "healthy" option because they give you SO MUCH food). Not a huge amount of seating - a few 4-top tables and window seating, but they do have an outdoor seating patio for when it gets nicer, right off the back parking lot. Such a cute little burrito place! We ordered a buffalo chicken burrito which was really tasty. We also got the quesadilla with buffalo chicken (if you can't tell already, i love heart buffalo chicken) and the loaded potatoes to share. The variety is really something, not like your average chipotle or regular burrito bar where you have standard chicken, fish or beef choices laid out for you. They are also pretty veggie friendly which is a nice plus for all you vegetarians out there. Seating can be a bit of a challenge but its def do-able. Bubba's Burritos is worth the long wait and long lines! Everything on the menu is great. My personal favorites are the shrimp tacos and the land and sea burrito. The queso is also out of this world!
