My friend wanted more seasoning and asked if it would be rude to ask for salt or something. I decided that it would. This is a family spot. "You go tell him his wife's food isn't to your liking", I joked while savoring my dish. This man wanted to ask for salt or (gasp) soy sauce(!) and he had eaten the decorative vegetables on the plate. It was good solid Thai food. The server was kind and celebrated my sloppy attempts at speaking Thai. The spot is not what you'd expect, it's homey, the ceiling and walls covered in standard cultural decor but it gave speakeasy. Like a place the mob would frequent.
