Finally gave up and just waited another 20 minutes to tab out, only time I've ever considered walking out on a bar tab. Don't understand why I can't get a drink at a bar. They have great food, and used to have great bartenders, but Kat is more interested in taking shots on the clock than getting drinks for anyone else. Plus, I ordered lemon drops and she brought me patron by mistake, when I asked to get the drink I ordered she fought me on it and guilted me into paying for a shot I didn't order. Will be telling my friends to not come back. Damn shame.

Maggie is an amazing chef and the food was outstanding! She sent out a chili cheese dog as an appetizer, and it was perfect. She makes the chili from scratch and it beats Coney Island by a long shot. All 3 of us ordered the fried chicken special, and boy are we glad we did! The chicken was tender, the skins crispy and well seasoned. It was slightly sweet and not too salty. Definitely some of the best fried chicken I've ever had. Her potato wedges were crispy and light, and super good dipped in butter as recommended by Maggie. We also went in the back room to play some games and were not disappointed. I plan to return on my next visit to West Virginia, for sure!
