I had a 17 year-old cat that had to be euthanized in 2011 and an 18 year-old cat who needed the same last week. In both cases he was kind and patient while I agonized over the final decision. He always replied promptly and was willing to discuss at length all options, not to mention putting up with my indecisiveness. While staff come and go I can never recall any of them who were not friendly or insincere about their love for animals.

The staff was warm, caring, professional, as was Dr. Hollensworth, the veterinarian, who carefully explained our dog's conditions and prescribed medications post-op. Great experience for us, and great care for our dog. The bill was very reasonable, which we appreciate. Based on our experience today, and past experiences with two other pets, I highly recommend Springhill Animal Hospital and Dr. Hollensworth. Great experience!

I had the card and everything…read more I came to my appointment and a lady at the desk told me that it was actually 30 minutes earlier. It was very frustrating to try and get my dog to and from her appointment. So to get there and be told that with no sympathy, helps the frustration along. She argued with me and asked if I had a chart. I replied with, "I'm not sure, but we've been seen by my other dog." It's like she didn't hear that portion and after many back-and-forths, she exclaimed, "Well why didn't you tell me that?" The attitude that was used with me was uncalled for as a customer. I left with an appointment for September for my second dog and cancelled my lab's appointment to go to another place. After coming in September, I was told that I was deactivated and not allowed to activate again. This place has very poor communication. Not only with their scheduling, but also with pretty big things like "deactivation." Regardless of the reasons for deactivating me, I should've at least been notified. Very poor business and I very much want to dissuade anyone from going here to treat their babies. There are many other doctors and nurses who will love your babies, but not these people. There are cold attitudes and robotic voices that are unneeded in a small town. If maybe one person could read this, maybe it could save someone from being offended or frustrated or treated rudely.

Since he retired, Dr. Brian Barron has taken over ownership of the clinic. I have found their vets. to be superior in all aspects of their care. Knowledge of current state and treatment of acute animal illnesses, as well as management of chronic conditions, e.g. My senior dog had severe arthritis in her spine. Dr. Barron, my vet, recommended weekly laser treatments to her back to reduce pain and inflammation. She responded very positively to the treatments. Dr. Barron heads the clinic, & has 2 Associate veterinarians that work with him. They are thorough in their examination of your pets, kind & considerate, explain steps of the treatment plan to you clearly, are not rushed when they are examining your pet, & honest in their responses to your questions. Office staff are polite, friendly, professional, and efficient. They clinic moved to its current location late last year. The new clinic on Kanis Rd is bigger & more spacious than previous location. Has a large waiting room for patients, has more exam rooms, and plenty of free parking. Clinic offers boarding and grooming. It may cost slightly more than other clinics, but the confidence and trust you feel in the care of your pet is worth the expense

My baby was in so much pain, gaining weight in his stomach, so much it was showing his spine, they told me he has liquid in his stomach with a little wire in there as well, they said he needed surgery or else he wouldn't make it. They said "there's only one doctor and no openings for the rest of the day" So tell me why they couldn't make the time in their day to do surgery on my baby boy, is it because I didn't have $1,400 right then? Well I had it when I came and picked him up. We were there from 11 in the morning to around 3 in the afternoon, they kept him there on some medicine until 5:45. In the next hour of my baby boy leaving, he passed away... after spending 630$ on the bill just for him to pass away.

I explained my dog was a pit bull ( people are afraid of and sometimes won't see) and no problems with that, he's 12 and a old big baby. Provided a leash for me since he's not leash trained. Got him in promptly and did the exam on my boy and not the answers I wanted thinking it was pink eye but in fact a stroke. Me waterworks going the vet was nice an attentive but was straight and honest and relieved me that he wasn't in pain. The staff is amazing and did a fantastic job! I highly recommend them for any sudden or abrupt things that happen with your pets. I want to say thank you for y'all for being so kind and honest with me and with Bonzo.
