On a Friday afternoon I decided to check out Delta R/C, which on a good day is a 35-40 min drive from Oakland. Expectations were not high as their website seemed outdated, didn't list current info about events, and they had no online storefront. However, I was more than shocked by what I saw when I arrived: Largest brick/mortar store I have found, extensive parts department, indoor track and micro crawler course onsite (more race courses across street at fairgrounds). Staff was friendly, esp. Kristin at the front register. Also, found out about some events next day that I attended (just wish it was on website). I think Delta will become my 'home hobbyshop' but just wish they had an online store so I could peruse their inventory before making the 40+ min drive.

They also have some singles for sale. This shop also emphasizes Dragonball and Weiss Shwarz. Other products include Magic the Gathering, Pokemon, and Final Fantasy. The owner is friendly and helpful. He's knowledgeable about the games.

Trade Emporium stocks and pre-orders Trading Card Games, Miniature Games, Roleplay Games and Board Games including Beyblades. They also have 3D printers so they have 3D items for sell, or you can reach out to bring in your own files for printing. You can't come in and not find something you like. My spouse and I have already visited Trade Emporium multiple times already during their soft and grand opening. Great group of staff and Chris, the owner, is absolutely amazing. They create a warm welcoming environment and and setting themselves up to be a pillar of the local and gaming community. Trade Emporium has only been open for a few weeks so far and are still been in the process of getting things into place but this place is massive. They are able to hold multiple tournaments simultaneously based on the size. When you first walk in, it's more of the shop selling items but go behind the first wall and you will be greetes with a huge gaming space. Trade Emporium has weekly TCG tournaments and even monthly Beyblade tournaments. The TCGs I remember them having are Magic the Gathering, One Piece, Pokémon, Lorcana, Digimon and Gundam; There may be even more that I am forgetting. I am more of a board gamer personally and am pleased with their selection of games and expansions they had available. They have a discord to keep up with their events and sales so I recommend joining that if you want to be kept in the loop. They may also be in the works of setting up their Instagram page as an alternative. Overall, Trade Emporium is 100% worth the visit and I look forward to visiting often!

Five stars just for the fact that they have holographic anime stickers here. I've been wanting to buy some for my friends for Christmas but they're pretty pricey online when taking shipping into account. This shop has the same stickers I had my eyes on anyway plus more and I don't have to pay for shipping. Hoorah. They've also got other interesting anime stuff here but none that particularly caught my interest today. I'll definitely be back though, if only for the stickers.
