We needed an electrician to do some electrical work in…read moreour office (installing some outlets and wiring for a light on the wall) and some wiring in our living room to have a TV above our fireplace mantel. The office work took over a day to complete and when it was tested it did not work and Bob suggested that we take out a brand new build-in office desk to fix it. Since this was not a realistic option, he luckily came back with help to find a different solution and was able to make it work. The TV above the mantel was a disappointment - we basically paid for two hours of work to find out he was not able to do it without having the fireplace below the mantel taken apart and left a couple cuts in our drywall (we were able to have another contractor come in and do it in within a couple of hours not even touching the fireplace). Lastly, it's been about 8 months since the work was performed and now our light on the ceiling in the office is shorting out so we are concerned with the work performed becoming a fire hazard. We had friends use Bob and (so far) no complaints (perhaps their work was more straight forward). Bottom line - I would not recommend Schaff Electrical as we had multiple problems that ended us costing more money and work in the long run.
