I used their aesthetic services. I got liplase, I prefer a more subtle lip enhancement. They made sure I was comfortable before the laser treatment. Where a numbing agent was used. During the treatment, they would check in to make sure I was comfortable. It's a different experience having a laser on your lips than on your face. Was it all sunshine and fairies, no. Much like a tattoo, it does sting during the process, but if you breathe through your nose - you'll be fine. Lips feel a little gritty after, but I'm also able to use a straw without issue. And my boyfriend just thinks I have lipstick on. Plus there is parking, and the office is very clean and modern. It's hard to find offices that provide this service so I was excited to find one. Also the doctor informed me of other natural lip enhancing choices to add on if I'd like in the future. read more

Dr. Jeff Knudson is why I stopped going to Brush Dental after being a patient for many years. I used to go to Brush Dental for years because my dental hygienist was excellent. She was thorough and gentle on my teeth and gums. But one year around November, Dr. Jeff Knudson examined my teeth and told me I needed two fillings on the bottom left side of my mouth replaced and two fillings on the bottom right side of my mouth replaced. When I asked him about how much would be covered by insurance and how much I would need to pay, he made a comment, "I don't care who pays me. I just need the money." This odd comment should have made me doubt his recommendation. But since I had been going to Brush Dental for years, I trusted him. I decided to get the two bottom left fillings replaced on one visit. Then, I would schedule a separate visit to get the bottom right fillings replaced. But Dr. Jeff Knudson did a poor job with my fillings. For a week after he replaced the left bottom fillings, it felt so uncomfortable to eat. Sometimes I'd wince when I chewed. But I hesitated calling Brush Dental because I wanted to collect enough data such as be able to explain exactly what kinds of food I ate that made my teeth hurt and I was worried that Brush Dental would charge me for the follow up appointment. A week and half after Dr. Jeff Knudson had replaced my two left fillings, I was back at Brush Dental. He did more sanding on my teeth around the filling. After that sanding, it felt normal again to eat. But here's another thing that irked me: Not only did Dr. Jeff Knudson do an incompetent sanding down after my fillings, but when I left that filling appointment, he didn't tell me anything like, "If it feels odd or uncomfortable to eat, let us know and we may need to do more sanding." Since it had been decades since I had gotten fillings replaced, I didn't know what to expect. I stopping doing to Brush Dental after that poor job with my fillings. I've been to two other dentists since Brush Dental and neither dentist has told me that I need to get my two bottom right fillings replaced (that Dr. Jeff Knudson had said I needed to get replaced.) And, I have specifically asked these two other dentists about those two bottom right fillings. I'm writing this review now because my current dentist (at Roosevelt Dental Clinic) replaced a bottom left filling. I went into the appointment feeling really anxious and nervous. But the appointment went really well. My current dentist took extra time asking me to grind my teeth on their carbon paper. This way, they could identify where they needed to do more sanding. My teeth and eating have been normal after my current dentist replaced my left filling. This contrasts with my post-Dr.-Jeff-Knudson filling experience. read more

I recently went to Brush Dental for a routine cleaning and removal of a skin tag. Manpreet, my dental hygienist, did an amazing job! She is always kind, gentle on my gums, and she explains everything that she is doing. Doctor Knudson performed the removal of the skin tag which was quick, painless, and left no evidence of it being there in the first place. I had an emergency. From the time of my phone call to the office, and returning back to my place of residence, they had the tooth pulled within hours. The time spent in the office was probably just over an hour. With his assistant Tiara, Dr. Jeff went right in and took care of things; but not before explaining all of the options. If you are new patient, DO NOT go to this dental. They have an untold rule that new patient have to do the root plane cleansing (patient needs to pay 20%). And if you reject to do that, sorry, you have NO chance to go any further routine cleansing. My insurance is covered dental exam and routine cleansing. When I made an appointment they knew I'm a new patient but didn't mention this rule (neither on phone nor in person) until completed the dental exam, they told me that I have to do root plane otherwise, none of teeth cleansing they will provide (routine or deep clean). I am currently getting Invisalign treatment from Dr. Jeff Knudson and he is incredibly knowledgable about every step of the process. I will post before and after pictures to this review once my treatment is finished. The Invisalign trays were suppose to take 4-6 weeks to process but the turn around time was less than 2 weeks. Super speedy service! This means I'm on my way to a straighter smile even sooner than I expected which is more than I could hope for. The receptionists are fantastic at scheduling appointments and accommodating the needs of guests. They are friendly and welcoming. There is a TV Screen provided above the patient chair so guests can watch netflix while they are being worked on. it's fantastic! The office is incredibly clean and well taken care of. i have another year left until my Invisalign treatment is finished and I will update this post then. UPDATE 9/3/2015: I have finished my invisalign treatment for the most part, and I am incredibly satisfied. Dr. Knudson took the extra time to make the teeth evened out even though it was not the most comfortable of experiences. Helped me get various dental maladies, some long-term and some more emergent, resolved in an efficient, effective manner. They tend towards being more proactive in their dental approach - attempting to stop most potential issues before they get worse, so if you are used to a more conservative style of dentist they may feel a bit scary at first. That said, even with the more aggressive approach I never feel pressured, they will take their time to answer all questions. Another great thing is they provided prompt advice via email when I had a problem while travelling and I think this reflects their overall commitment to being available for communication even though it's a pretty busy clinic. The quality of work has been near flawless so far for me, and the prices seem on par when you have insurance. Billing is also pretty clear and up-front and when I've had questions they've always been patient in explaining. read more

I've been treated by both Doctor Annie and Jeff and both are amazing. They've treated me through crowns, root canals and basic cavities. As a 61yr old professional, I have had quite a few dentist and experiences. I can say I have been through the "valley of darkness" as well as had some amazingly great docs. I have lived in Seattle since 1988 and must say I have finally after many years of searching and experimenting have found a great DDS. Dr. Knudson and his office have been awesome. I travel 35 weeks a year, mostly international, and present for a living to large numbers of corporate types. First, I can get an appointment when I need it. I suddenly had severe pain this week and I am about to head to New York and the next morning I am in the chair, full digital xrays and immediate exam with a totally professional and clear, simple diagnostic discussion. The doctor shared several different ways to proceed and I chose the decision to save the tooth. The doctor gave me a complete and clear pricing analysis upfront (very reasonable pricing) and his office staff and the Dr. completed in the most professional, pain-free and informed way possible a root canal procedure. I had music offered which helped and he knows how to eliminate the pain. Each step of the way he reviewed the digital x-ray and step by step procedures including amazing still pictures to further the information sharing. He truly understands how to simply communicate with the patient. They invest in the latest dental technologies. The office is friendly. The Dental Assistant was super professional and friendly. The office is clean, modern and again they use the latest technology. What more can I say. This is a long review, but I have been searching for three key attributes in a dentist office and finally found them for real, I have had several visits now including cleanings and bridge work assessment, all five stars as well. My three attributes that I searched for are: 1. Is the dentist and staff super competent, careful, pain free and good communicators? 2. Does the office use the latest technology and do they listen to the patient first and can you get an appointment when you need it without hassle? 3. Is the value and cost to the patient fair, stated clearly and can the patient participate without pressure or attitude in the responses to the diagnostic results? These are all exceeded by Dr. Knudson and his team. I am very satisfied as you can clearly read by this review. I do not give 5 star reviews unless the experience is truly 5 stars. My clients demand so much of me and I therefore demand so much of anybody I am paying with my hard earned dollars. I have to say...I really hate dentists. I've had nothing but bad experiences, sweating and writhing in the chair while something involving the scene from Little Shop of Horrors plays out around me. But not so at this place. I just had the most informative, sensitive, gentle, and kind dental exam and cleaning ever. Dr. Knudson is amazing. She was kind and patient about my very sensitive teeth, and took the time to educate me and empower me to take care of my teeth better. I got to watch TV, and everyone was pleasant to deal with, from the quick and prompt email communication, to the text message reminder of my appointment, to the dental hygienist. Because I'm a new patient, Dr. Knudson cleaned my teeth herself - I've never had a dentist do that. She said she wanted to really get to know my teeth, and that was the best way to do so. I have had 2 fillings through brush dental. Both times they have told me that the filling will probably only last 5 years. I feel like they are not confident in the work they are doing and it makes me not feel confident as their patient. I also feel like they are the least personal or caring dentist office. The hygienist is nice, but both dentists are clearly just there to take your money and couldn't care less about explaining what they want to do or why. read more

I never felt like Dr. Knudsen really cared about me as a patient. If he did his work on my teeth didn't demonstrate it. Dr. Knudsen was very good at explaining things and getting my confidence. But I learned later that some of the things he said were misleading. He takes only Delta Dental insurance. I had a different company and he told me that dentists on "preferred" lists who negotiate with the other insurance companies will cut corners and give inferior care. That was absolutely false! Now I have a dentist (preferred by my Met Life ins.) who has proved it. Dr. Knudsen is in no position to criticize other dentists. It's just his way of conning people. I was also persuaded get a bridge when I should have had an implant. He did the work and gave me a temporary crown to cover 3 teeth. It was constantly falling off and I had to live with it for 2 weeks. He made me a new one after a few days but it was just as bad as the first one. After the job was finished my bite was off. In adjusting it his partner dentist (wife I think) ground off too much enamel and now my teeth on that side barely meet. He agreed to redo the job but said future work would correct the bite. It was a very unpleasant, long experience and I didn't want to go through it again so I agreed. He was mistaken about the ease of correction so now I'm stuck with a poor bite on that side. He would probably still redo it but I've had enough. read more

Just moved to the area and needed a new dentist. I would like to preface by saying that I do not like going to the dentist. I know, a total cliche, but I always have bad news and just an unpleasant experience. Having said that, Dr. Knudsen and his staff are absolutely AMAZING. I just had all four of my wisdom teeth pulled (yuck) and I am beyond impressed with the finesse, skill and empathy displayed by Dr. Knudsen and his team.
