This is my new favorite in Southlake Tahoe. It's a little difficult to find but it's worth finding. A local had recommended this restraunt it's a locals favorite. The bruschetta top-tier Juicy fresh tomatoes perfect consistency of mozzarella and olive oil the bread was crunchy but also soft amazing appetizer. The lasagna is some of the best I've had. The sauce was perfect I did sprinkle on some Parm but delicious without too. The minestrone soup was perfect, lots of veggies. The price was great for the quality and large portions I paid less than $80 for an appetizer a bowl of soup a large slice of lasagna and a dessert. The staff was kind friendly and welcoming and the restraunt itself gives an authentic Italian vibe with a hint of Tahoe. We will definitely be back!

Last day in Tahoe and was craving some Italian. This place is bomb. We went right when they opened. Staff was amazing and took good care of my party of 10. Inside was very modern and flowy. Good natural lighting. The food was fantastic. One of the best bruschetta I had in my life. Definitely coming back for that alone next time I'm in Tahoe. We also order the 20 layered lasagna and it was delicious. We also ordered Chicken & waffles. The chicken & waffles were good but nothing to crazy about. Definitely the bruschetta and lasagna stole the show. Ended the meal with their tiramisu cake because you always have room for a sweet treat! Overall I give this restaurant a solid 4/5 star review. I'm glad I tried it and will definitely be coming back!

What a find. A sleeper that is hidden away. Once the door is opened you enter a fun, active restaurant. It's smallish. The staff is fabulous. Not a touristy place. They make their own pasta and bread. The pear and blue cheese salad with pomegranate was so fresh. I a the sage butter sauced squash agnolotti. Tasty. The rigatoni with bolognese was wonderful. Perfect bolognese. The olive bread was hot and crunchy. The. Dessert !

Cozy and charming restaurant. Really friendly service. Food is honestly more like a 3.5 but portions are large. Lasagna - 4 - could have been higher with more sauce but very nice flavor and texture Eggs Benedict - 3 - best part was the focaccia bread. Egg, ham and sauce were all meh Blueberry pancakes - 3.5

Great ambiance, quick and friendly service, delicious appetizers, but lackluster mains. At its steeper price point, I expected the main dishes to be phenomenal - or, at least, not pasta I could cook myself at home. The sauce tasted like it was from a grocery store, the pasta soggy, the presentation soupy. The addition of shrimp was an extra $8 (merely 4 pieces) and tasted as if it was blow-dry-reheated from frozen. I expected more from the pasta dishes! (around $30 each) But from a place called Bruschetta, the bruschetta olive oil & tomato dish sure was delicious. If you choose to go, I can only confidently recommend the appetizers.

Back again to the gem. Hidden in a nondescript mall but spectacular food and service! Had the lasagna, huge and delicious, come hungry or it feeds two. Cioppino was excellent as was the Caesar salad. We ended the evening sharing the delightful tiramisu

Tahoe is a food desert where decent restaurants generally go extinct with little warning. This little Italian-food nook in an uninspiring commercial center up Kingsbury grade offers a change from the nearby casinos and bears. It has been around about a year and a half and replaced a former Italian shop - that had replaced a French one before that. I went there with a Italian food pro and an Englishman and even a German. I didn't mind the fare, but... If this spot were a British style pub called the 'Kingsbury Arms', then the traditional English cheese on toast they called 'bruschetta' would make more sense. Strong spaghetti - with grey meatballs. Some decent Italian red wine in wide proper bulbous glasses. Some uninspired plastic caprese with squeazy-bottle tasting balsemic. I liked the rich and complex Bolognese, but that wasn't unanimous. Nice service from a head guy who's at least 1/4 Sicilian I reckon, and the menu is not overpriced. A locals family hang. Last seating 8:45.

Absolutely loved this spot! The food was incredible -- the mac & cheese croquettes and herb ricotta focaccia bread are must-tries. For dinner, we shared the filet mignon with crispy gnocchi and the maccheroncelli, and both were amazing! The ricotta on the maccheroncelli was such a perfect touch -- so creamy and flavorful. We also had a couple of mocktails, which were just as delicious as any cocktail. The restaurant itself is adorable and cozy, perfect for a date night or dinner with friends. Everything from the atmosphere to the service made the experience wonderful. Can't wait to come back!

We honestly were not impressed. We were recommended this restaurant because we were celebrating our anniversary and were told it was fine dining. It is not fine dining. The word "fine" is on their menu and it may refer to the food, but the atmosphere is not fine dining at all. My first impression was the TV with football on it. This is a very sports bar feel. My next impression was how loud it was. Fine dining is not that loud. My third impression was the table we were sitting at. The placement where our feet go was at the top of a base of the table and it was super uncomfortable. I noticed not all the tables had that. Wish we could have sat a different place, but I didn't see an empty table and that was due to it being a small space, which I see nothing wrong with having a small space. The food tasted delicious, but my 20 layer lasagna was huge! Normally I don't complain about a big portion, but our waitress said there were 2 entrees that were huge. Why are the portions not the same throughout the entire menu? It should be. And, I highly doubt that was 20 layers. It would be huge vertically instead of horizontally. My husband said his dish was good, too, but his portion was rather small and it was beef tips instead of steak. Because there were some highs & (mostly) lows, that's why I gave it a 3 out of 5 stars. I have nothing bad to say about our waitress. She was very nice and kept our drinks coming.

Wonderful food amazing service. My friend and I went when it was during Covid. Apparently the owner then sold the place. We didn't know we looked up an Italian spot and we didn't know we were going to the same place because the name changed. When we got closer it looked familiar and what do you know it's the same place different name, but the food tasted amazing as well. 10/10 will definitely go again.

Traveling with a child who is a year and half is not for the faint of heart. Some days they decide that being confined is something they want to reject with their whole soul. This was one of those days when I was super hungry and stopped in here. The waitress took pity on me and grabbed me a coloring book with pencils to try to stave off his wily ways. At one point she even put some beans in a plastic container for him to shake. She was an angel sent from heaven. I had thought I knew what I wanted going in based off pictures I saw, but I guess they change a lot of their menu options around. One thing that seems to be consistent is their lasagna as they are known for it, so I picked that. Lots of thin sheets of pasta, bechemel sauce, meat sauces, caramelized bottom all in a hug portion. She even accommodated me and percured some delicious bread that was off menu and an amazing herb dipping sauce for it. They have daily mocktail options and I chose a blueberry lavender spritzer. Refreshing, balanced, and not to sweet. Overall amazing compassionate service and mind blowing food make this truly a gem.

My experience at Bruschetta had some highs and lows, so a 3-star rating seems appropriate. The good: The namesake bruschetta appetizer is incredible, crunchy bread with a layer of melted cheese and an abundance of halved tomatoes. I also loved the mussels and sausage -- the broth is especially memorable. The bad: We ordered the squid ink pasta with prawns, but got shrimp that were definitely smaller than expected. Compare the picture we have with what other people on Yelp have received. My best guess is that they ran out of the regular prawns, since we ate later in the evening. But it would have been nice if they had just told us to get something else. And there were a couple minor issues: we made a reservation but still had to wait a while, and there were spots of what looked like dried food on the menu and the napkin. Other groups around us seemed to be having a great time though, so your mileage may vary.

Perfect space for lunch or dinner!! Glad our friend who lives in the neighborhood knows where to go for a quality meal. Both dishes were exceptional and complimented by the very attentive service. An added plus met Erick one of the owners, who shared upcoming wine dinner events. The Dungeness pasta was amazing. Our only suggestion would be to increase the portion by a third. The 20 layer lasagna prepared w/veal&pork, bechamel sauce instead of ricotta, fresh pomodoro sauce, and Parmesan cheese. The size was so massive, it's perfect for four as an appetizer or just plan on having two great meals. Both dishes were complimented by the Nebbiolo, from the small but varied wine list. Wish I was a local to enjoy this place more often and explore its culinary magic. Kudos to Erick and Chef Victor!

    What is the dress attire?

Casual. Tahoe has very few places where dressing up is required. I personally would go with a dressy casual.

It is listed as Dog Allowed. It this place dog friendly? Mini Poodle.

We except well behaved service dogs.

Tonight we stopped in late on the way to the campground and shared three things: the calamari fritto, Garlic Bread Scusa, and the classic lasagna. The calamari & fried onions were crisp with both the cocktail sauce and the green jalapeño aioli. The garlic bread came loaded with melted mozzarella and the tomato-basil salsa (on the side; our specific request). The lasagna was the same hearty, layered version we have ordered for years, with a side of zucchini. The kitchen intuitively split the lasagna onto two plates without being asked. We all ordered the sausage & peppers linguine bolognese without the peppers. My grandfather (Nonno) was so agitated by the meal it took everything I had to calm him down so he wouldn't berate the very kind server. In his words: It looked like someone took a bowl of onions, sausage & peppers (they left them in) but then remembered halfway through they were supposed to be making a pasta dish; so the cook quickly added a spoonful of pasta & tomato sauce to it. It genuinely made him upset. He left scared people would go into restaurants in America and think Italians ate like that. He asked me to write this review for him so other people could know both not to order that particular dish and that not all Italian food is like that. ----- I will say for my part that the server was very nice, attentive and kind to my grandparents when receiving their passionate feedback. The place was clean and the food came out very quickly despite a full dining room.
